Cute but not for me. I liked them but my family didn't.

Favorite style of pull-on shorts. Nice adjustable hem tab feature. For summer wear or over leggings in cooler weather. Fabric came out of dryer somewhat wrinkled, with a crease in a leg hem. Hope this is just part of a break-in period; not a deal breaker.

I have purchased several pair of these shorts. The mediums were a tiny bit snug in the backside. The larges were really big. The 5 pair of mediums I have purchased, the navy and taupe were 1 1/2 inches smaller in the hip and 1 inch shorter in length. The sizing is very inconsistent. On the taupe shorts, the left leg was 9 inches, the right leg was 9.5 inches. The inseam is supposed to be 10 inches. Quality control needs to improve.

Fits and wears great its just that I prefer regular waistline shorts. However these are comfortable

I have four pairs of these shorts. First ordered large and they are a bit too large. Then ordered several pairs of the medium. I love the length and that they have no zipper. The one thing LLBean could fix for next season: when you put these shorts in the dryer, the hem folds, curls, wrinkles. You get the point. Unless I iron the shorts (and who is going to do that?) they are sometimes uncomfortable because the wrinkled parts, depending on where they are, rub on my legs. And, the wrinkled hem portrays and unkempt look.

Comfortable & lightweight, but after washed & dried the leg edges are wrinkled & crimped. Ironing my shorts is not my idea of convenience.

I like the material and the fit, but my cell phone will not fit in the front pockets. There really is no excuse for small pockets. I have a similar problem with the LL Bean jeans. Why can't they give us pockets that work for today's phones?

I purchased these shorts for my Mom, who is 97 years old. With her arthritic hands she has problems with zippers and buttons so she asked for some pull-on shorts for summer. This is the second pair after purchasing dark blue for her. When she received the first pair she said they are "perfect.". In addition to being easy to handle they are comfortable for her as she sits a lot, and easy to launder.

It is a little short in the waist; otherwise great.

Great dark neutral in carbon navy. Fabric will soften up with a few washings. Dirt just brushes off. Comfy waistline. The ability to have a Bermuda and a shorter length with a tab is handy. Pockets could be just a bit deeper to accommodate larger cell phones. This is a real basic for hot weather!

Fits smaller than 1x wish I had bought 1size up. smaller than size 18/20. Wish there was more stretch in the waist. Otherwise really well made shorts.

I purchased a carbon navy and sandbar. The carbon navy is shorter than the sandbar. I have a dark taupe from last year and just love them. Would love the blue if it were the same length. LL Bean why advertise the same shorts and have different lengths?

The shorts are very comfortable and I like the 10" length. I don't like the flare on the legs that enables the leg to be rolled to the 7" length. I wish Bean would just make 10-12" length shorts again.

The leg opening on these are very generous. LLB should adjust the leg opening size with the smaller sizes. I wear a size SM, and the waist and hips fit but the legs were ridiculously wide. Even XS the openings were too much. I love the material and I hope LLB will consider a redesign. Sadly returned them.

Love the shorts, but didn't receive correct shirt. I kept the top because I had so much trouble receiving my order. Now I will find a short sleeve top to go with them elsewhere.

I bought it for summer trip so I haven't wore it! But I like the looks and material

Very comfortable. Great length. Nice pockets. BUT they have to be ironed after washing. I don't mind ironing, but these get seriously wrinkled b

These shorts are comfortable and wash nicely. Wish the waistline were at the natural waist, and not slightly below.

The Rose Wash color met my expectations and is a good compliment to a navy, grey, or white top. The adjustable leg length makes them ideal for hiking or wading into the lake after the hike. I didn't expect the "rise" to be as short as it is; the shorts sit below the waste. I wasn't certain of size so ordered the large based on the size chart and the fact I wanted room and comfort. But with the amount of fabric stretch, after an hour or so of wearing, I could have ordered a Medium and most likely been ok.

I originally ordered M but sent them back for a small which fit perfectly. . .but am a little disappointed in the fabric which surprises me because I normally love ripstop . . . these come out of the dryer wrinkled and they often have a funny partial cuff. I am now not drying them all the way and sort of hand pressing them.

Just not comfy, with a tendency to billow out because the fabric is rather stiff. I'm sure they wear like iron and last for years, but...

These shorts are loose and comfy. Only objection is they always look a little wrinkly, but no regrets. All LLBean clothes seem well made and true to size.

I actually like these shorts but for this first time I have an issue with size. I ordered my usual size xl but they were really big so I tried the large and, of course, they seemed too snug. So I kept the XL and hope they don't fall off. There is too much material. Also, I would have preferred the same style is a lighter weight fabric. It's hard to find that perfect pair of shorts.

Really like these shorts. Fit nicely and are comfortable. I bought 2 pairs. But that said, I think they're overpriced.

I was looking for Bermuda shorts - great length with option to roll up and snap in place if shorter length desired upon occasion! Waist is a comfortable elastic band with a draw string for good fit. The cotton material with a little spandex is soft against the body and makes for easy movement. The snaps are difficult to manage, perhaps in time they will become easier to snap. A bit pricey! That and the snaps are the only reason I gave only 4 stars.
