These shorts are excellent. I own 5 pair of the Vista Camp Pants, 3 Pair of the Vista Camp Shorts, and now on Pair of the Vista Camp cropped pants. They are all wonderful. They are so lightweight and comfortable. The short length is perfect. Not too short, not too long. I wear them all the time.

The price of these shorts gave me serious pause but I was taking my first international trip and needed something easy, light and packable. Being a plus size, I find it hard to find something that looks good and is comfortable. I wore these shorts all day in the heat, 90 degrees. We were walking, shopping, driving all over in a hot car. The shorts feel almost like you are wearing nothing. They kept me cool. The best thing about them was that there was no riding up of the fabric between my thighs. The waistband of the shorts is really comfortable. I have a poochy stomach and these fit without being too tight on the tummy or gaping at the back. I am 5'6", 260 ponds and I bought a 24. I would buy every color if they had more colors. Also wish the vista Capri pants were in a plus size.

These look good and feel good, are cool and a good length. I hope to buy more.

These shorts are pretty awesome. My only gripe is that the material isn't very breathable and makes my crotch sweaty, but I feel I can't dock a star for my weird body physiology. I ordered size Small, and for reference, I weigh 137 lbs, and I am 5' 5.5" tall and am slightly pear-shaped. Even though the material is thin (and I have no thigh gap now), these shorts do NOT ride up on me like the Original Sunwashed Shorts. I was concerned the shorts might be too small, but they fit just right and the material skims my hips/butt perfectly without any pulling. Honestly, I think I could still easily fit into these shorts even if I was 145 lbs--which is another nice feature of these shorts--I know that whether a gain or drop a few lbs, these shorts will still fit me just fine bec of the stretchy material/waistband. These shorts have a sporty look and are very comfortable. I am 5'4", 160 lbs. and the medium fits perfect. They are lightweight so they dry fast. I love that there are several pockets. I now own two pairs, the granite color and the black.

I bought a pair of these shorts a few weeks ago, and they have been the only shorts I've worn since! They are wonderful! The size was exactly as I expected, I wear women's 24, I bought 3X, and they fit perfectly. The waistband is so soft!! I worried that the fabric would be noisy, but it's not at all. I came back to buy a pair in every color (which turned out to be just one other color - why are Women's sizes only available in two colors?)

These have to be the most comfortable and classy sports shorts ever. Love the fit, the fabric, the colors, the zipper pockets. These are so comfortable, yet chic, you'll think you aren't wearing anything at all. Great job, LLB. Don't mess with a good thing.

If they were a bit longer like Bermuda shorts I would buy every color! I gave the a 5 star rating because they are just as well made, comfortable, and great looking as the pants and Capris are. If you are looking for shorts that are on the shorter side, these are for you!

I initially bought this short in 3 colors in a size Medium (note a size 10 Comfort Trail short fits me). After wearing the first pair, I felt they were really too big (especially in the waist) although they were incredibly comfortable. They are almost like sweats in the waistband - but a ripstop type fabric. I ordered the same three colors in a Small - received them today. They are a much better fit - and still have plenty of room in waist and hips. Love them even more since I haven't worn a small pant in awhile!!! If are on the smaller end of a size range - size down. (Now I just need to return the two pair I haven't worn........)

I have been wearing the canvas shorts from LL, and they are really nice. This short is different. I am 5'1" and I am a round 172. It varies due to meds. I need shorts that I cannot really feel on my skin...and with a really forgiving waist. These shorts are excellent. The waist is a nice, soft, wider elastic. The material is soft. They may not be as dressy as some, but I ended up with two pairs, and may get more. I got a large, and it fits so well. And they wash very well in cold water and a regular dryer setting. I can't say enough. Excellent!

I love these shorts. I have a hard time getting shorts that fit and that are also somewhat presentable because of my size. These are great (I get XL).

These are one of the best shorts that I own! They are comfy, especially post-baby #2, don't wrinkle, and coordinate with a lot of different colors. I may grab another color before the end of the season. We are going camping at the end of the month, and they will definitely be my "go to" pair!

I bought two of these shorts plus the pants. I couldn't be happier with them. They are VERY comfortable, look great and wash up really well. I'm outside with my dogs constantly in the summer heat and these are so cool and dry very quickly after I've gotten too close to a wet dog. I would recommend them to anyone. The fit is true to size also. I just wish they would come in more colors because I'd buy them all.

Love these shorts. Perfect fit and super comfortable. Great stretchy waistband that also tends to flatten the tummy. Nice zippered pockets. I am 5'4"/124 lbs and bought the XS.

These feel like a second skin and wash and dry very nice.

I needed a good option for our vacation. I like that these are mid length without looking frumpy. I wear a size 4-6 and the small fits nicely. Highly recommend for travel, beach, everyday wear.

I love these shorts. They are lightweight, well made and move well on me. I love that the pockets are actually usable. I sweat in the summer and this is a welcome addition to my summer wardrobe.

I can't stand tight-fitting clothing. I have finally found a pair of shorts that allows for plenty of movement but doesn't look frumpy. I like the cool, breathable fabric, the elastic waistband, and the two zippered side pockets. I am 5'0" and 107 lbs - the X-Small size fits me perfectly. I will purchase more shorts in different colors.

I already own 2 pairs of the Vista Camp Pants and love them so I was hoping I would love the shorts just as much! I do!!! They are so soft and comfortable! I love the zippered pockets and the soft waist band. I initially ordered 2 pair and after trying them on, I'm back to order the other 2 colors! They do run a bit large so you may want to size down. I am 5'4" and 115 pounds and I wear the petite XS in both the Vista Camp Pants and the Vista Camp Shorts.

These shorts are perfect!!! Received them, tried them on, and ordered an additional color right away. Appropriate sizing, great pockets (especially the zippered ones!), and, as an older customer, the stretch waist makes them comfortable to wear all day. Wish there were a few more colors.

These are the best shorts I have purchased from LL Bean. So comfortable, great fabric and perfect length. I have had previous shorts that I loved but they were discontinued and these are even better. Recommended to my whole family. Price a little high but worth it.

Our air conditioner crapped out, and these arrived just as the weather got really hot. A godsend! They are very lightweight and the elastic is very soft. They will be perfect for our week at the lake later in the summer. I haven't washed them yet, but I am sure they will dry very quickly. I immediately ordered in two additional colors. Please add a light neutral like "stone" or even khaki to the mix! If you're considering these, this might be helpful: I ordered this along with five other styles of shorts, all size 14 or L; sent all the others back. I generally wear a 14-16. These fit well over my fat butt and belly. All the others were too tight. I will probably remove the drawstrings as they stay up just fine without.

I don't know yet how they will wear, or launder, but the fit and the fabric are perfect. I would like to see them in a more summery khaki color, please.

I finally found a pair of short I will be comfortable wearing all summer. I usually wear capris because I have large thighs that I'm self conscious of. These are a great longer length and do not cling to my thighs. Material is lightweight yet seems durable. I may return for more colors if I find myself wanting to wear them often!
