I was disappointed, as I have never paid that much for a set of sheets. I ordered sheets for a full-size bed. They were labeled that way, but were much too large. They did not fit well. The weight of the fabric was much lighter than I expected from Percale. The color was the only high point. The yellow was wonderful.

Sheets were highly rated on Witecutter so my expectations were high. Too high. The feel of the sheets is fine, a bit stiff but nice weight. However the problem lies with the fit. The sides of the sheets do not stay in place. I am up a few times a night and by morning find myself lying on a mess of wrinkled uncomfortable fabric. Very disappointed!

I read these were really soft and comfortable. I feel like we were sleeping on canvas.

Bought these a few months ago and was hoping they would soften up with multiple washes but to no avail

The sheets are cool and comfortable, however, the bottom fitted sheet became paper thin in spots and tore after only 18 months of normal use. We do NOT recommend. We are mid sixty year old seniors and have never seen bedding come apart like this before. Quality is not consistent with normal LL Bean products.

I've had these sheets a week and they're covered in stains. 30% of the area is now stained. I don't even know what - from the oils on my face and my toddler's drool? Things that shouldn't stain in the first place and should come out easily if they do. It's depressing. I'm depressed that I bought these sheets.

Saw these reviewed on wire cutter and was expecting something much softer or silkiest unfortunately, I found them rough!

I do love LLBean quality and have very pleased with my many purchased items. However, I purchased these sheets 1 year and one month ago. I thought they seemed thin but believed in the quality. Sadly, they have ripped and are thinning. I checked the purchase date and are just outside the return date window. Will be buying sheets elsewhere.

I bought these sheets based upon aNYTimes Wirecutter recommendation. The color, size and fit are fine. I am disappointed that the sheets, despite 5 initial washing and drying cycles, are still not soft, but rather rough and itchy.

The sheets are fine but... why on earth didn't the original king sheet set come with only two pillowcases?

These sheets are NOT soft. They crinkle like paper.

OK but seems oversized and excess bunches up on mattress. Not great value.

I'm on my fourth set of these sheets. There are many things I love about them. They are quite soft and breathable. Good for winter and summer. But they just don't last. The fitted sheets wear through in a couple of years. The pillowcases rip on the seams. The first time it happened, I wrote it off as a fluke. But now I see that it's to be expected. So this is my fourth and final set. At $169/set, I can easily get 2-3 sets from another company that will hold up much better. Frankly, I expect more from LL Bean in terms of quality and I'm disappointed.

I bought these percale sheets 2 weeks ago, a nice value, many reviews. But the sheets were not crisp and cool, and felt more like sateen sheets. Under magnification I saw that the warp and woof threads had different thicknesses. Other percale sheets that I use have symmetrical thicknesses. This difference made for an uncomfortable sheet set that I will have to return.

With regular use and perhaps 300 total nights of sleep, the fitted sheet wore through to the point of ripping.

I love the color and the fact that they are longer than other sheets I have. I really really don't like the feel of the sheets! After two washings they are still so scratchy I've gotten up and changed my sheets in the middle of the night! They also make me itch anywhere the sheet touches my skin

The sheets have been a disappointment, especially after The NY Times review. The sheets feel cheap and thin.

Very thin, slip around on bed, making it difficult to make. Ample size.

They could have been a little crispier and cooler. Otherwise, they are lovely and I would buy another set.

I was under the impression that these sheets were 100% cotton, so I must have misunderstood something in the description. They have a very synthetic feel to them and their surface is so slick that the blankets slip off in the night and end up on the floor. I'm considering returning them, since the top sheet is essentially useless.

I agree with other who say the sheets are very thin. My fitted sheet after just being washed with the top sheet and pillows now has a long tear right along the middle. They are out of the one warranty period but I've never experienced that before. I am really disappointed and inclined to buy a replacement from this company

Not at all what I expected from "crisp, cool, cotton percale". It's so much thinner and more flimsy than I expected. Very disappointed. And it's so huge it doesn't pull tight to the mattress and is all over the place. Doesn't seem like it will last super long either.

The sheets are too big for a standard mattress. Too huge for my bed, I even checked the packaging to make sure I ordered the right size. Fabric is nice but sheet and fitted sheet is excessively big.

I have a sheet set I purchased about 5 years ago that I just love. Feels great, washes well, and has little wear to show after 5 years. I bought another set about a year ago and after a year of use/washing it is frayed and worn at the edges. Very disappointing.

Bought completely based on NY times review, disappointed. They are slippery and just aren't comfortable to me. I do appreciate the size, they are plenty large enough. These were pricy and not for me.
