I purchased this for soccer, football games but received it just before a car show. I threw it in the back of the car and whoa and behold had a light rain. It was perfect. We had to sit outside and it worked as the item was listed in the description. I was warm and dry!

This blanket is perfect for taking along to any sporting event.....lightweight for carrying but provides warmth and repels rain showers that happen to pop up at the last minute. Also great as a groundcover for picnics and drive-in movies. I'd definitely recommend to everyone!!

I have purchased several of the waterproof outdoor blankets, and I love using them! They are perfect for camping in the summer, as well as snuggling up on a chilly fall evening! The blanket is very water repellant, and the fleece is super soft on the inside. I love wrapping up in my blanket at the campfire, and the smoke from the fire doesn't stay with the blanket! Great job LL Bean!

We were looking for a waterproof outdoor blanket to sit on at a 2 day outdoor rock concert in California Wine Country. The blanket was the perfect answer; colorful, easy to spot in a crowd, confortable, lightweight and rolls up easily to a compact fold and easily returns into the provided light weight carrying bag. We have used this for cold, wind & rainy soccer games. It works well, so much so that I need to buy a second one because my daughter does not like to share the blanket!

Used the blanket for the team at the pre-state XC meet. Exactly what I wanted. The blanket provided a great spot that was dry for the kids to rest up, stretch or get tapped before the race.

We just used this blanket over the weekend during a music festival camping event and I was very impressed with the quality and the size of this blanket. It was bigger than I thought it would be, but could accommodate 4 kids and a couple of adults comfortably. The crinkling noise others talk about it not a big deal to me and did not bother me at all. I was just glad to have a dry place to sit and a warm cover when I needed it. Very pleased with this purchase!

Waterproof blanket was bought to take along to high school football games this fall season. Has proved to provide a dry night for football enjoyment.

I took my cats on vacation with us to a beautiful house and had promised the owner that I would cover any furniture that the cats would be sitting on - so I bought 7 of these blankets and they worked perfectly. I woke one morning to a healthy furball throw-up on one of the blankets. No worry - took it off, tossed it in the washing machine and not a drop on the couch. These are waterproof, clean up nicely and are a very nice size. Perfect for pets. A lint brush cleans off the fur nicely too. They are a little pricey (especially when buying in bulk!) but well worth the price especially if your pet has an accident. Easy clean up. Love this product.

really nice quality- this is a perfect picnic blanket. The fleece side is very soft and it's great to not worry about the slick side that you put on the ground.

Most of you would purchase this for picnics, etc., and it would be great. It's light, comfortable, and washes well. My use, however, is to place it under my 15 1/2 year-old basset hound in the car or on our bed (her favorite place). It's comfortable and WATERPROOF!

I keep ordering this blanket! One for me durring soccer games, then...one for the soccer girls who are sitting out...and one for my mom! This blanket is warm (fleece side) and water proof (nylon side). The nylon side can be face up during rain, when I am covered, or face down on the wet ground for the girls to sit on. I keep this blanket in the car for most of the year because we use it so often.

We took them to the fireworks on the National Mall. They were great: protected us from the wet grass, thick enough to be comfortable, and not itchy. We were ready to put them over our heads to keep off the rain showers. It has a waterproof bag with toggle closure as well. I recommend them highly!

I bought my blanket recently and have used it both on the grass around the campfire and on the beach. I've been very pleased in both circumstances. The fleece is nice and soft, and the backing prevents water from coming through. I am thinking of getting some of these as gifts!

This blanket is great! It is big enough to share, warm, and keeps the water out - which is great when we are at kids outdoor sporting events in the rain. Comes in its own drawstring sack also.

I am about to buy my third of these blankets. Not because there's anything wrong with the first two, but because they're so useful a third one would be very handy to have. Mostly we use them when we're camping. We line the floor of the tent with them. The nylon side keeps the moisture that inevitably seeps through the floor of the tent away from us and the fleece is soft and warm to walk around on. They have a nice weight to them and tend to stay where you put them. They roll up nicely and stow away in their bags which makes them perfect for tossing into the trunk of the car as an emergency blanket. They also wash very well. I bought my first one about three years ago and am glad that it's still being offered.

We are already loving this outdoor blanket. It came in handy on a spur of the moment picnic with our newborn. It was soft enough for him to play on and the damp grass didn't seep through. Another great product from LL Bean.

Exactly what we needed! We were looking for a picnic blanket that guarded against moist grass or ground. This did the job while providing a very comfortable topside as well. This is also larger than most picnic blankets on the market today. Packs away nicely in the pouch provided with it. Would recommend it to anyone.

Great size and weight. Does the job and I like the color for fall. Performs just as it should for waterproofness and warmth. And LL Bean has prices I like. Very happy!!

The most practical solution I can find for going to the beach, having in the truck for emergencies or cold passengers. One side is water resistant so the Border Collie come home from the Vet on that side. The soft side can be used for comfort and warmth.

We have used this blanket at HS football games and weekend soccer games. Warm & fuzzy underneath, the outer layer repels water. Another great buy from LL Bean!

My husband teaches horse riding lessons in a covered arena where it gets windy and cold in the fall and winter. Parents and others watch the students take their lessons from a viewing area and get very cold. I bought three of these blankets and they love them! The fleece keeps them warm and the nylon layer keeps out the wind and makes it easier to shake off the dust. The size is right. The storage bags make it easy to store them in the tack locker. The only negative is that the nylon is very crinkly/noisy. We would highly recommend these blankets for anyone who wants to wrap up and keep warm while viewing outdoor sporting events.

We had one of these years ago and I couldn't believe how often I used it, and then lost it and thought I could live without it. But I couldn't and bought this one a month ago. With the water-resistant backing and the fleece side it is perfect for all outings! A great blanket to keep in the car for the park, beach, soccer games, camping, outdoor concerts, picnics...just a great everything blanket.
