Well made,solid craftsmanship.

Got this yesterday and put it to the test tonight. Got this primarily for the lake. Was out and a sudden storm caught me off guard. The rain came in sideways making the Bimini worthless. I grabbed this blanket and the water resistant side kept me dry with the fleece keeping me from getting chilled. This will be on my boat in fact will be buying another. I love the green Color. This blanket is loud!! But for me the water resistance is well worth it. The stuff sack rocks!!! Will be dragging this to the beach in 3 weeks and no doubt it will work as advertised. If you do anything outside where it might get wet or cold this blanket will fit the bill. Why is this product not more advertised? Would have bought years ago. Keep up the great work

This is a great blanket and everyone in the family loves it. It's great to have a dry place to sit on a picnic, during cold soccer games and to wrap up my daughter after a swim meet. The size is generous, the waterproof is handy and stays dry even on damp grass. It also helps to block out the wind during soccer games. It rolls up easily and has a convenient stuff sack with draw string.

It can be wet at any time of the year in Oregon. This blanket allows ground to bench protection to sit on and it is easy to clean.

Great color, quality product

We used this blanket for the first time last weekend to watch a sailing race on a super hot summer day. As we waited for the ferry ride off the island, a thunderstorm came in quickly - leaving us very unprepared for such heavy wind and rain. We had no choice but to huddle under the blanket to delay getting drenched. Not only did we stay completely dry underneath, but we weren't left with a soaking wet blanket to carry around either. Our day would have taken a serious turn for the worse were it not for this blanket! Highly recommend getting one to keep in the car.

We love this blanket. We've used it at 2 separate outdoor music events and it was big enough for 3-4 people to sit comfortably and it stayed dry - bonus since the waterproof side is smooth we didn't have to shake off grass, sand, etc. It's compact and easy to carry in it's stuff sack. A shoulder strap would make it even better. I also used it as a cover up on the hammock on a cold night. It's snuggly and retains warmth like a sleeping bag without the bulk. Great purchase!

This was one of the best finds ever for us. We use it both in the camper and in our sunroom when the dogs get wet. It is easily washable and also can be taken outside to be a picnic blanket or dog bed.

I just got this in the mail and am already impressed. It comes with an elastic strap to keep it rolled up as well as a bag to put it in. The bag will keep any mud, dirt, or water out of your bag or car after use until you can wash it. Also, the blue color is a pretty deep blue, not the bright turqouise it looks like in the photo. I much prefer it. You can throw it in the washer and dryer too. It is a good size for a few people, 4 could sit comfortably, probably only 2 with your legs out straight. The fleece side is really soft while the back is smooth (and hopefully more dirt resistant). The waterproof back does make it a little noisy when you move it around, but I'm not sure why anyone would need a quiet waterproof outdoor blanket. I'm so excited to use this; I already know it's going to get used frequently this summer at picnics, concerts, etc. No more soggy butt at picnics! I'm assuming it's actually waterproof and that it will hold up since it's LLBean, but if I find differently, I'll report back.

I bought 2 of these for my daughter and son-in-law's 10th anniversary. This is after taking my 3 grandchildren to some fireworks, and spreading a comforter on the ground. The ground was damp and the evening got cold. That's when I got the bright idea for the blankets. I only looked at the LL Bean site. I knew the quality would be there. They are absolutely delighted with their present!

My husband coaches track and cross country in upstate NY and more often than not, the weather is cool and damp. This blanket was a good investment to keep him warm and dry as he faces the elements. It's waterproof on one side and soft and warm on the other. It would be a great gift for any soccer mom!

We love this blanket. It's soft and fuzzy, and big enough for two adults to lie on. It's easy to pack up and the bottom stays nice and dry. We thought it might be hot because the top part is fleece, but that hasn't been a problem so far. We've gone picnicking with this but haven't tried it out at the beach yet. We're very happy we bought it!

I bought this blanket for all the baseball practices and games that my 2,4, and 6 year-olds get dragged to. It's soft and warm. We actually haven't used it yet on soggy grass, but my older child did pour water on the plastic side to see if it really is waterproof. I'm happy we'll have a dry place to sit on a soggy day.

I purchased the waterproof blanket to brave the elements of cold New England nights at my sons' spring baseball games. I couldn't be happier. The blanket is lightweight and rolls easily for storage in its own bag. The wind resistant and waterproof features really help with keeping me warm. I would highly recommend it!

I finally got a chance to use this blanket at a soccer game after owning it for several months. The weather was cool at the beginning of the game and gradually worsened to damp and blustery. I pulled this blanket out from under my chair, wrapped myself up in it, and enjoyed the remainder of the game in cozy comfort. Not only is the blanket waterproof, but it is almost windproof as well. I would heartily recommend this blanket to a friend.

Being parents of soccer & lacrosse players, where watching outdoor games can keep you out in all types of weather...this blanket can't be beat! The rain (or wet snow) just rolls off and the underside is warm to keep you insulated. It even works great as a bench warmer on those cold metal bleechers - it is worth every penny! Don't leave for the game without it!

I have alreaady used this blanket several times, and it is wonderful. I just shook the fall leaves off of it and hung it on the clothesline when the bottom was damp. The top stayed very dry and comfortable for me and my 3 year old granddaughter as we were laying out in the yard reading books together. It is very roomy, and will be used for camping adventures as well. I'm thinking about purchasing a second one.

We purchased this blanket 2 weeks ago, and it has already served us well at two soccer tournaments. I've wrapped myself in it on a cold, windy day to keep warm, and it has been spread out on damp fields for little sisters to play on while big sisters have games. It folds up compactly to fit into the wagon with the rest of the gear. A great blanket that will be useful to our family for years. Love it!

Keeps you warm & dry and blocks the cold wind very nicely. Best little surprise is the bag that comes with it that you can't see in the pictures - easy to roll up the blanket and toss it into the bag & makes it easy to carry around. Use it for outdoor soccer & football games and it's perfect!

tried this one at one of our local football games, weather was cold and windy, this blanket did the job and kept me comfortable, Cant wait to try it on my next camping trip,

So far we've used this blanket to cover up during cold/wet soccer games and on the wet/swampy field for the kids. The blanket did its job keeping us warm and dry. I love the bright blue color, and although very large, it packs light/small (and surprisingly dry) into the sack. For such a great price we will definitely be ordering more!

Used our new blanket at a very rainy soccer game and it was a big hit. Warm and waterproof. Large so more than one person can use it, but packs up very small and neatly into the accompanying bag. A very good purchase.

I bought this for our wet and cold soccer seasons. We live in the Northwest where it pretty much rains at most of our games throughout the year. I took this out yesterday and wrapped up in it and it was the first time I was comfortable at the game. I sat in my chair and when it rained it didn't get me wet. The fleece side felt great. Loved it! I think some of my friends are going to get it too.
