Love the moc's -- they were comfortable from day one and fit very well -- the service at LL Bean is over the top -- the operators never hurry things and are very knowledgeable of all of the products

My husband absolutely loves these shoes! He got two pairs, in Chocolate and Tan/Bean Boot Brown. He wanted the Chocolate because this is the exact color of dock shoes he owned when he was young, and he was totally satisfied with these looking exactly the same. He was over-the-top about the Tan/Bean Boot Brown as just being a fantastic-looking color combination. The shoes are outstanding quality and fit him exactly.

I finally broke down and bought a new pair to replace the pair I bought about 15 years ago. Good product. Very reliable, comfortable.

Received them earlier than due date by UPS and in perfect condition. I normally take a size 11 but I had tried them on at a LL Bean store and found the 11 to be too loose but the 10.5 fit great although a little snug. The sales person told me there was a short breaking-in period. I wore them a couple of hours and they fit great, very comfortable, with a nice arch. Goodbye Sperry!!!

Picked these up on sale, and I'm glad that I did. Really nice, well made casual shoe that looks good enough to wear to work. I agree with those who have written about breaking them in; at first try, they felt a bit too narrow. However, they loosened up after a couple of wearings and are now my favorite shoes. They seemed to have formed to my feet. My advice: wear them for 2 - 3 hours at a time for the first couple of days. Really handsome shoes!

These boat shoes lasted 7 years of hard use. They do it all: stream crossings, concerts, late-night hikes, dinner dates, sauna-to-the-lake-and-back, etc. They polish up well (this improves longevity too), they get better with wear, and they go with just about any style. However, my favorite feature is that I've worn these barefoot for years and they DO NOT stink. I don't have particularly smelly feet, but I've shoved my very dirty, stinky feet into these shoes countless times. I just smelled them and they smell like leather.

I loved the first pair so much, I ordered these that are just like them. These fit great and wear really well-a great value for the money.

These shoes are quite comfortable, and I have found them to be a good choice to wear with jeans or with chinos if I'm wearing a polo shirt. I was a bit doubtful about the fit at first, because they didn't fit as snugly as handsewn shows generally do when first bought, but they fit my feet quite well now. There was a card enclosed telling me that the leather might show imperfections, because that's its nature. The leather, in fact, was flawless, and it polishes up very nicely indeed.

After two pairs, seven years, and a million steps later I can safely say these are my favorite go-to boat moccasins on the market. I keep one pair for chores around the house and daily use including messing about in the boat. I have waded ashore to many Maine islands in these shoes-- which mean repeated long-term salt water dunking. They are now comfortable as slippers and have acquired that patina of use that only comes with high-quality leather. Best of all: The stitching has held strong and the leather is smooth, cool, and comfortable. My second pair is for going out to casual yet somewhat dress-up affairs in the summer-- they don't have paint splattered on them like the first pair. I am a 12.5 foot, and I go DOWN a half size with these to a 12. They are slightly large, I find (the 13 is too big for me). The leather stretches perfectly if my toe gently hits the end. A timeless classic, I love my Casco Bay mocs!

These are the most comfortable boat shoes I own. I have every color and the leather quality and design are just fantastic. They come already soft so there is not any break in. I have owned Sperry Top Sider and Sebago and I think these are much better... For me they fit true to size. These are less expensive than the other big brands and they last longer too. You will not be dissapointed!

My husband, who has worn this moc for years, will wear only this shoe. The fit is perfect, withstands hard every-day wear, and looks great every where he goes.

When I ordered the Casco Bay Boat Mocs for my husband I questioned the size he selected. He chose the size based on another brand he tried. As I suspected they were too large so I returned them and ordered his actual size. The replacement shoe fits perfectly and is true to size. He loved the canyon color with the dark soles, he doesn't care for the white soles you find on many mocs. The leather is soft and comfortable and because of the quality I believe he will wear these for some time. Exchanges and returns are easy and fast at LL Beans. The customer service rep was fast, knowledgeable and courteous. Great service and great product, what more could I ask?

Well made and a nice color. Fit my guy's size 13 foot to a tee. He says they are very comfortable. He has always liked the Boat Shoes and these by LL Bean are the Classic look. He has had Sperry and the other top brands in these as well. He likes the LL Bean ones very much!

These shoes are beautiful! Rich, thick leather with a beautiful, classic color. Excellent quality. I was concerned about the width because I have wide feet. I ordered a wide and they plenty big enough. They have thick, high quality leather strings. I can see having these for years to come.

Second pair I have owned. These shoes are a go to favorite in the summer. Certainly comparable and in my opinion better then Sperry's. Construction is very good and I like the dark color soles. First pair lasted well over 5 years of hard wearing. Shoes are pretty true to size and after a little break-in wear great with or without socks.

I am very happy with these shoes. A few years ago I had purchased another brand that did not hold up well. These are very substantial and well made. I know my husband will enjoy these for many years. These will be his taking the dog outside shoes.

After just a few wearings the usual LL Bean quality is evident in these boat mocs. Fit true to size and comfortable right away. The leather lace is handy for minor adjustments to fit.

I now have two pairs of chocolate/white soles for boating and one in canyon/brown soles I'm using for casual days at work. I haven't worn the canyon ones on a boat. The white soles are non-marking. The chocolate ones have more of a soft, almost suede feel and the canyon ones have a smoother tanned finish. The canyon ones took slightly longer to break in. In either color, these shoes quickly conformed to the shape of my feet. I often get them wet, even in salt water. I seldom wear socks. Because they are made of all leather, they don't smell bad. The quality of construction is very high. My old ones are more comfortable than slippers. I don't want to throw them away even though the soles are bare! I highly recommend these.

Almost perfect, I had pair of Timbers for literally 30 yrs and I still wear them I bought these as were closest I could find to them they are nice quality and comfortable ,size is true the only issue I have is the top of the tounge is a tad short and cuts into your foot THAT is the main difference with this pair as my old pair had a small padding around the top of the tounge makes a huge difference.Add that hand they will be perfect.

Nice shoes that are well put together and has a classic look. I got the size 9 and can wear shoes between 9 or 10 and these fit perfectly. Good color and good leather. came in a no thrills packaging

Shoe's sizing is accurate, the fit is good, and the color is as appears. Only concern is that the liner is not "soft" as other dock shoes owned, and foot may tire after long wear.

I ordered these online. They looked good in person and the leather uppers seemed to be good quality. But I had to return because of the sizing. I don't have an official Brannock measurement but when recommendations say to size up or down by a certain amount, I do it relative to 12E and it usually works out. I ordered an 11.5EE here because reviewers mentioned that they run large and a bit narrow. The width felt right but they were too long. If I shifted my feet forward I could easily fit my index finger behind my heel. Perhaps 11EE or 10.5EE would be right.
