These are great looking shoes, but as other reviewers have stated they run a little large and are stiff at first so they need to be worn for a while before they reach their true comfort. I also find the side of the shoe digs into the right side of my ankle bone on the right shoe. I'm hoping this works itself out as the leather becomes softer as I like the shoes and don't want to have to return them.

These seem to be good light weight mocs. The leather was a little stiff & dry. I applied a light coat of good leather dressing & after a few days they were starting to feel good. Been wearing them a few weeks. A word on leather dressing... I work with leather & use Montana Pitch Blend Dressing on all my leather foot wear with excellent results. There are many good products but I never use products with slicone on leather.

They are nice shoes, but they run big. I usually wear a 12/13 depending on manufacturer, and I could probably squeeze into a 10.5 in these.

You don't really know a shoe until you have walked in it for a few months and it has molded to your foot. The fit and feel of this shoe for the first week I have worn it has been wonderful - except for one small problem - it eats socks. I've used 3 different types of socks and they have all been pulled down into the shoe as I walk. Over this first week the problem has lessened, but the last pair of shoes I bought from Bean had the same problem and years later still eats socks (maybe it's just my socks, but why is it the same with all 3 types of socks??).

I have had a few pairs of these boat shoes (cause they fit so well and are really comfortable. Bad thing about them is that they always wear out within 1-2 years. The sole stitching that is-- and I am not a foot dragger. BUT-- the boot thing about them, aside from the comfort and quality of the uppers, is Bean being Bean will send you a new pair. That's just how they role-- which is why I am such a loyal customer.

The size seems to run a bit larger than the shoes I've bought from LL Bean in the past. My previous pair was a 7.5, so that's what I ordered this time. They were way too big, so I returned for a 7.0 and they are still a bit large.

These shoes are well made but were a little large for my husband--we will have to order at least a half size smaller.

These moccasins look and feel good, minus the insoles. I bought wide and half a size larger than I should just to play it safe, but as it turns out, it's a bit large in length. So, buy your usual size, they should fit just fine. Tying the shoe lases will not make it any tighter just so you know. My main and only negative is the removable insoles. Looking at the pictures, the removable insoles looked like it had some decent padding. But once I put the moccasins on, I immediately noticed that the insoles had very very little padding, if any. I know, I know, moccasins with cushy insoles? That's what I thought and reason bought these.

These shoes look and (for the most part) feel great! My the heels of my feet are getting a little irritated by the back of the shoe, but I think I can fix it with some tape.
The shoes were a little tight at first, but after ~8 hours of wear they stretched to fit my feet well. I went a half size down to make sure they are snug for wearing without socks. I think normally people go a full size down, but my feet are very wide so a half size was best for me.
I took a star off their rating because they are actually much darker in person than in the picture. There's also more contrast between the stitching and the leather. Still, they are high quality, and ended up looking great anyway.

The quality of these shoes is outstanding. They do run a whole size too big, so size down one full size. I ordered my dads correct shoe size of 9 and had to return for an 8, which was fine as returns are easy and fast, but cost me $6.50 to return, when it was not my fault the sizing is off. Overall, very satisfied and would have given 5 stars if not for the cost of the return.

The design of this shoe has changed since I purchased the same shoe several years ago. It is now narrower at the toe than the previous design. I was forced to return the shoe.

This all turned out well in the end. These camp mocs were a gift to my father for his birthday. I found my Dad's original pair of camp mocs years ago, and he loved them, so I ordered him a new pair for his birthday, so he could retire his old pair and make them his slippers. Well, my father promptly received his gift, but there was only ONE SHOE in the box! Thankfully, he was amused and he called LLBean right away. They sent my Dad a new pair, but my Dad then had to send back the single shoe, which is kind of a nuisance for a guy of 79 to have to go and do. Thankfully, my Dad is happy with his new camp mocs.

Comfortable mocs, a value for the price. I bought the 9 1/2 size which seems a bit longer than other 9 !/2 shoes I have purchased from Bean.

the Camp Moc is a quality moccasin of good workmanship. Unfortunately, it it is only available in the wider widths and is unavailable to those of us who take a "C" width. Tough to get my pair to fit properly.

I've owned 3 pairs of these over the years in Saddle Tan which I obviously really like. I got a new pair with the new color and I just cannot deal with them. Yuck.
I sent them back. Got my last pair resoled for $50 to get a couple more years out of them.
If they bring back the original tan color I'll buy them again in an instant.

As with most everything I've bought from Bean, quality and service is excellent. But when it comes to shoes/ Mocs/ etc., always too wide for me. After many years Bean finally offered something narrower that a 'd' width as 'medium'. D used to be, and is, wide...but went too far with 'b' width which is very narrow, always has been a narrow designation. So, you order a shorter length, but then the overall fit/ comfort suffers. Must be me: at 5'10, 165# I'm not a running back! Point is, there is limited size selection/ options. What ever happened to sizes A, B, C, D and even E as size chart? 'A' very narrow...'E' very wide. If that doesn't cover 99% of the buying population ...we need to diet...and exercise !

This is a well built shoe. I used to wear Sperry's but their prices went up and quality went down, so I looked for an alternative and found these. The fit, for me, is better than the Sperry's, nice and snug. I also like the removable and washable insole. outer finish doesn't hold up as well as I would like, and they sort of lose their shape, but I am use to the funky look of old boat shoes anyway. I use the old pair for summer yard work and the newer pair for daily wear. Comfortable.

These moccasins are very well made and, based on prior experience with this product, they are very durable. The shoes do, however, seem to run a little bit large and the leather is not as pliable as I would like. On the whole, I am very pleased these shoes.

This is my first pair of these shoes, but there will be more. I needed a durable dress-casual shoe for work and this has been a great fit for those needs. As mentioned in many reviews, these shoes are sized VERY large so choose your size accordingly. I ordered one size smaller than normal and that turned out pretty well. They are also naturally wide, which was also good for me. The actual product is darker in color than the online / catalog photos, so be aware.

I normally wear a size 11 shoe. My initial order for size 11 was way to long. I returned the shoes and reordered 10 1/2. To long. Finally ordered a size 10 perfect. As others have commented the shoes run large. LLBeans customer service was great.

All in all, a high-quality product. My only complaint is size disparity. I have bought other shoes from LLB and have had perfect fits. When I ordered this shoe in my normal size (10) they were too long.
I exchanged them for a 9 1/2 and , while better, this shoe is slightly too long. By using an innersole I can snug them up some, but I don't know what will happen as they stretch, and I'm a little leery of going any smaller.

The fit is a little big. (My previous bison handsewns were a little small). They were comfortable from the start and are easy to walk in for longer periods. These aren't much good for hikes, but are great for everyday. They are easy to get into and out of, yet stay on your feet when walking. The new synthetic liner is comfortable underfoot.

Bought these at the same time I purchased the Lakeside Boat Shoe. Ordered both in 11 M. I was disappointed to find that this shoe fit MUCH wider than the Lakeside Boat Shoe, which fit my foot nearly perfectly. For reference, I have a somewhat narrow foot and typically wear 11 B/C depending on brand/style.
I also was not crazy about the really dark brown color. I will be returning.
I wish LL Bean would offer this shoe in a narrow and in a lighter brown.
Otherwise, it seems like a nice shoe.
