Haven't had much chance to wear them, but seem well made. I believe the description said wear with lightweight socks. The shoes were a little loose until I switched to mid-weight socks and then seemed more comfortable.

These are good quality Moccasins that also look good. The only problem I had was that the insole tended to shift when putting them on.

Love this shoe, and I'll always have a pair or two at the ready. As they wear in, they become "yours" and can visually tell stories. I know that seems a bit wishy-washy, but it's true.
One warning - the leather dye transfers to socks quite easily - I've stained many a pair over the years. Perhaps don't wear your favorite socks with these.

Shoe looks great and has the usual Bean's quality, however, the width and length are greater than my other Mocs and loafers from other retailers in the size 11WEE.
They're wearable with padded inserts.

I wear these moccasins all summer and into the fall. By then they're pretty well worn out so I buy another pair to have when spring comes around again. Good fit. They feel good.

I have worn size 9B (narrow) Camp Mocs for over 20 years but they are no longer available. I recently ordered 9D but they were too big (width). I returned them for size 8.5D but they were also too wide. Please help those of us with narrow feet and bring back B width Camp Mocs.

I have purchased at least four of this model of shoes for my husband over the past few years and for the first time the sizing was off by a full size. LLBean was good about the exchange but be aware of this.

Rarely does a company that makes a mistake correct it...I'm glad that is not the case with these mocs! I've been wearing them for years, and along with many others, was sad that LL Bean discontinued them. Thanks for reading our comments. Just one note...at least for me, they run about a half size big. I take that into account, and deal with it. I do wish that the soles wore a little better, but that may just be that I am very hard on heels. Well done LL Bean!

Bought the size 11/EE because I need a wide shoe and figured the 10 1/2 would be too narrow. So the shoes are long and I had to glue pads in the back of them so they don't slip off my feet. When I first put the shoes on, they feel tight. That goes away in a few minutes and then it's quite comfortable. It has a rich leather look to it and goes well with jeans or casual dressy pants. Well made and should hold up for a long time.

The overall quality of material seems great. The comfort wasn't what I'd have hoped but over time they've gotten better. The size comes half a size too big. I had the opportunity to exchange two pairs before I found the right fit. LLBean was great about waiving exchange shipping giving the sizing seemed so off. Of the three shoes leather looked slightly different on each but maybe that's to be expected. Two of the pairs were darker than the picture shown. The third and final pair finally fit and was the closest to the color depicted. Had it been true to size and if comfort was a little better I'd have given a full 5 stars... But 4 it is.

I purchased this shoe about 2 years ago and for those two years it has been my go to shoe. For the most part, I have been very satisfied however toe on one of the shoes is separating at the stitching.

VERY SAD that this item (according to other reviews)is being discontinued. I have bought a new pair every year or two for many years, and love them. I always have two pair going, and always buy the Dark Brown which is no longer available. (I called the order number to make sure.) Not as happy with this Briar / Natural color, but will put up with it to get the shoe. This may well be the last time I buy these.
PLEASE, LLB keep these Camp Mocs available.

Order a whole size smaller! I wear a solid 9 in every shoe, dress, casual, driving mocs but I ordered the 9 in the Camp Mocs and they were huge. Returned the 9 for 8 and 1/2 still very loose. I've ordered the 8, hope these work!

After I read the reviews for these shoes I decided to order a size smaller than I normally wear, which is size 12. So I ordered 11 EE, convinced by the very recent reviews that they run larger than standard and this would work for me, especially since I had worn 11 1/2 D for many years before switching to 12s.
You've probably already guessed by now that it didn't work out for me. They were very well made and much stiffer than I had expected and a bit too tight, but I thought they would probably stretch with wear. The instructions even advised wearing them 3 or 4 times before deciding. I didn't make it to the fourth time. My toes were getting pretty cramped and the sides wore a painful blister on the outside of my foot just below my ankle bone. I was on a trip and am really glad I brought some different shoes with me because I couldn't have worn them another day. I also expected them to be wider than they were. They didn't seem to be as wide as EE should be.
I'm going to return them and I believe a size 12 will work, which is the size I would have ordered if I hadn't read so many reviews complaining about them being too big. I can't explain why it would work out that way for me, but it did. The leather is pretty heavy, so it looks like they should last well. I'm not going to advise anyone about how to order other than to suggest that you might want to have a conversation with someone in customer service before you do. Good luck.

Ordered in my normal size 12. Were too big. Read reviews and followed suggestion to re-order a whole size smaller, size 11.
These were snug at first but have stretched now for a comfortable fit. Am pleased with the shoe in construction and appearance.

The LL Beam mocs are great. Only problem is that the laces undue themselves quite frequently and it feels like I may trip over them. Any ideas on how to prevent this problem?

Well first of all, this is my 3rd pair of these since 1985. Each pair has lasted 10-15 years and have been a staple of my wardrobe. Things to know: These are shaped slightly different than the originals. The heel and sidewalls seem to be a little higher and the toe seems to be a different shape. These also run big. I wear an 11 D in most shoes. The originals ran about a half size big, so the last 2 pairs (10 D) were tight because I wanted to stretch them to mold to my fit my foots once broken in. These new ones however, run at least FULL a size big. Both the 10 D that I tried on in the store and the ones I got online, are both a decent slightly loose fit. So size accordingly. Also, as some have noted, these aren't the same color as the originals. These look dark brown to black. The originals were more of a mahogany to walnut color.

I ordered these for my husband, who was tired of getting the cheap ones that wore out year after year. ordered the 9W, his normal size. WAY too big. Exchanged with 8.5D. He says very comfy, already has that broken in feeling.

I was looking for a pair of camp mocs, but didn't love either of the colors from the pictures LL Bean provides. I ended up ordering the dark brown in 10.5 (my normal shoe size), hoping that they would look a little nicer than they did in the pictures.
Unsurprisingly, they arrived looking exactly like the photo. They were also quite a bit too big for me, even with wool socks on.
I ended up exchanging them for the Jackman Camp Mocs in saddle in a 10, which I am very happy with so far. LL Bean made the exchange process quick and easy.
If you like the color in the picture, I recommend ordering a half size down. If neither color looks great, check out the Jackmans, which have higher quality leather in a more natural looking color.

...which will not be your regular size. These wonderfully made shoes are a full size larger than what you normally wear. Trust me. Order a size smaller and you will be a happy man. Unless you have very narrow feet as well.

I've purchased several pairs of these moccasins over the years, and all but the most recent pair have held up very well and been very comfortable. I typically only buy a new pair because the old pair, while not failing structurally, starts to look a bit too worn. The most recent pair I purchased in June 2015, however, split along the stitching holding the top to the side in less than a year of rather light use. The leather seems to have just torn away from the stitching. This pair did not meet the standards I've experienced with past L.L. Bean products, shook my views on their quality and cost them a star in my review. I've just ordered an new pair to replace them in the hope that my last pair was just a one time occurrence.

I was looking for something comfortable and stylish to slip on and go. Based on other reviews these seemed to fit the bill. Also, many reviewers have had these for a good length of time and some are on their second or third pair.
Even though reviews stated that they ran a little large I ordered my usual size 11 1/2. When they arrived I was shocked they were way to big. So much so that I returned them and ordered a whole size smaller, 10 1/2.
The one size smaller fit good barefoot and a little 'snug' with a sock. These will stretch a little whit wear.
When I have worn them the are comfortable and my foot does not move too much barefoot. Just wearing them a few times I can see that they will be comfortable and my good weather 'go to' shoe for years to come.
YES, I do recommend these but watch the sizing.

I have had very good shoes in the past from LL Bean and these shoes were of similar quality. My problem is that they are just too wide for my feet so I walk out of them. Unfortunately I will have to return them, too bad because I really like the look, quality and feel of the shoes.
