I love my Torin 6! It is so comfy and cushy! I was so disappointed when Altra discontinued the Torin Plush line, but Torin 6 does not disappoint. It would be even better if they offered Torin 6 in a slim foot size, but I am very happy with their new design. I really like the new shoe laces that stretch. The stretch laces really add to comfort. I love this shoes so much I bought a second pair in a different color.

I am training for marathon and these shoes are great so far! Super lightweight and comfortable for running in the heat. pr_disclosure_code=sampling.

I've been a die hard Torin fan for the last few years and always recommend this shoe to my running friends. It's super lightweight which is great for speed training and racing. And at the same time, it also provides a ton of support, cushion, and has a durable construction. So it's also great for Long training runs and high mileage runners. This new version does not disappoint!

These are great!! My first pair of Altras I tried were the Riveras. While I liked those, I LOVE the Torin 6s. The wide toe box is perfect and I don't feel any squeezing on my feet. The laces are also longer than the Riveras which makes them SO much easier to tie. Outside of the great fit, they look so nice, too. I'm not a huge fan of bright crazy colored running shoes - I have the navy Torin 6s and they look awesome. I've worn them both on pavement and the track for speed work and haven't had any issues!

Really enjoy this update! Definitely different than the Torin 5. I can see how people would think its similar, but I have worn it 10 days straight without issue, 3-4mi each day. Love the clean aesthetic too!

I've been patiently waiting for these to drop. My Torin Luxe are worn and the soles are peeling. They did not disappoint! I immediately felt like they secured in foot but were plenty cushy, not sloppy at all. They finally got the longer laces that are a little elastic right. The tongue didn't cut into my ankle, it has a softer edge. Good job Altra.

I walk a couple of miles morning and evening with my dog. I absolutely love the feel. So comfortable and surprisingly supportive of my high arch. The support and comfort has not budged since I bought them. The wide toe box is everything!!! Complaints. The outer materials are not holding up. There are holes where my big toes are on the top, and yes the length is fine. And the bottoms are peeling away. It's become a tripping hazard. It's very frustrating because these shoes are pricey and as much as I want to, I don't know if I can bring myself to buy another pair. Also, I would love it if these came in an all weather option. Morning dew alone soaks my toes walking in grass.

I bought these due to the comfort and wide toe. I have been wearing them to the gym (treadmill walking and heavy weight lifting) and to work (office nurse) for the past 3 months and already notice them tearing on each side (medial and lateral) where the fabric meets the sole at the toe box. I hate that they cost me over $130 and have been so short lived.

Love this new pair. I've been wearing Lone Peaks for the last 3 years and just tried the Torin. I really like the cushion in these. Con: not a variety of styles in WIDE!!!!!

I love this shoe, I've bought many shoes only to find out they are not comfortable. I had to go up a half size and wish they had more colors but comfort is the most important thing.

I've loved my torins ever since I slipped them on a few years ago. So I was saddened when I first tried on the latest iteration, torin six. Like many others have noted, the tongue is too long and the fit on the 9.5 didn't feel like my other 9.5's. After sending back the 9.5's I went to a running shoe store to see if a ten would feel better and it did! So then I had to sort out the problem of the long tongue. The shoe salesman noted other torin fans had cut off the excess tongue, but I hated to mar my new shoes. Instead I have been running comfortably with the tongue tucked under the first row of crossed laces, further securing the laces by tying my bows on top of the tucked down tongue. I'm so glad I found this solution because I love how Torins fit. They allow me to switch from a forefoot to a heel strike and all in between comfortably, depending on the terrain and state of my legs. They are still my favorite running shoes!

The arch support is better than in Altra Lux 5. This shoe runs true to the size. The toe-box is pretty wide but somehow flat. It's wide in the wrong place for my foot and rubs my little toe.

Not as cushiony as Provision 6 pair that I have and tongue is super stiff on the edge which is pretty annoying. I will probably cut it off. And I will be going back to Provision the next time I buy Altra running shoes.

After experiencing the joy of the Torin 4.5 Plush I was excited to upgrade to the 6. So far so good except the tongue on my left shoe seems to be shorter than the right so it slides down some.

I previous had Torrin 5 and LOVED them. I was excited to buy Torrin 6 to train for up upcoming half. Still love the zero drop, colors, updated tongue to decrease discomfort on front of ankle. However, comparing to my 5s, the toe box narrowed. They initially were making my toes go numb, but I adjusted how I tie them and this decreased the tightness on my forefoot. Was disappointed that the toe box narrowed as I struggle to find a running shoe that doesn't makes my toes go numb and the 5s were the perfect fit.

I do absolutely love Altra shoes. I have been wearing them for the past year and they are the most comfortable shoes for me to wear to work. I do not have nearly as much foot pain after 6, 8-11 hour, standing shifts at work (if any at all). I recommend them every time tennis shoes come up in conversation. I am very satisfied with customer service. I gave them a 4 star but only because after purchasing my first pair, a rubber piece of the soul started to come off rather quickly. Altra did replace them and customer service was very helpful. Hopefully, they will fix that defect quickly. I do want my shoes to last. They do have a 1-year warranty, which is great. The comfortability of the shoe is definitely there.

I LOVE these! I went back and bought a 2nd pair! My first pair I got 250+ miles on them. The second pair I barely have 200 running mi and they are wore out w/ holes. Disappointed.

The Torin 6 is not as good as the Torin 4.5 Plush, but it is still an excellent shoe. I wear mine running 5 to 26.2 miles through sunshine, rain, ice, and snow. I'll continue to buy them as long as they are made. Super good for wide feet!

I really do love these shoes! So comfortable and my favorite running shoe that I have had. However, I bought this 2nd pair because my first pair wore out fairly quickly.

I have bought the several of the Torin 5's. I love the shoes I have no foot pain. My only complaint is Altra doesn't make enough of the wide sizes. It would be nice if they made more and offer wide sizes in their other shoes. So because I have such a problem in finding a wide in a color I want I am going have to find a different brand of shoe.

I bought these because I could get them in a wide. I have Morton's neuroma and need as much room n the toe box of the sneaker as possible. I had originally bought the Paradigm 6 and they worked well but when I bought a new pair they were uncomfortable (for me). There is quite a bit of cushioning in this shoe, but I wish there were just a bit more--I need the zero drop but also need some cushioning. Thanks for making shoes that work for people with foot issues--especially as so many focus only on plantar fascitis it is nice to find something that works for Morton's Neuroma. I would recommend these, definitely.

I was gifted a wide foot, search "bunionette" and long skinny toes with a Morton's toe as the bonus! Finding a shoe that fits my foot is nearly impossible. I tried on almost 12 pairs of shoes before I circled back to the Torin 6 wide. The fit was wonderful. My bunionette was finally happy. The color choice was.....lacking. For a lady who has been stuck wearing guys shoes for a majority of her life, a solid navy shoe with what appears to be light orange was so disappointing! Can't my bunionette look like a lady for once?!?

The ONLY reason. I didn't give 5 stars is because I haven't been able to run in these yet as I injured myself (not running) right after I received them. They are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. I have a really hard time with running shoes as I have a lot of problems with my feet, probably in part, because I have a hard time finding the right shoes. Anyway, the toe box fits well, the shoes are light, and they're comfortable. I may opt for the higher cushion level next time. If you're used to wearing a cushioned shoe like most of the well known brands, just know that this feels very different compared to those. Not bad but definitely not what I'm used to, but that and the zero drop are the reasons I bought these in the first place. I needed something different. I'm excited to get to run in these and willl update if I can.
