Love these trainers, wide fit is good, not a lot of colour choice, but happy with the colour I got, they look good. So comfortable, good tread, had these before so know they will last. I am usually a size 7-71/2 but checked out the size guide, which is correct went for an 8 which is a good fit.

I use this shoe for day hiking and even backpacking. I can go many miles in complete comfort.

I love these boots. They fit perfectly and the traction on slippery rocks and mud is fantastic.

I bought my first pair of Salomon's about 15 years ago and they lasted a long time. I was worried that I would not as comfortable in the new style...but LOVE it! Seriously thinking of buying a second pair.

Perfect from first wear, got these as older shoes became porous. Salomon gave me voucher for new ones and these are great. Great fit and very comfortable

I've been walking in these shoes 5-7x a week for almost a month. I cannot over emphasize how comfortable & supportive they feel! They've broken in fabulously, although honestly they were comfortable from the get-go. Icing on the cake-they're incredibly stylish! I recommend them without reservation! I'm looking forward to using them on my trip to Ireland, which will include a ton of hiking.

I bought this a month ago and i was worried about having to use them before breaking them as they got delivered only a day before my hiking weekend. But I have to say they are beyond comfortable, i put them on a day after causing myself blisters with my wellies, and they were very comfortable and no pain at all even with the blisters on my feet. They are tight around your feet but in a comfortable way, i can't reccomend them enough.

These are great hiking shoes, they are everything they say they are. A awesome trail shoe

So happy with this purchase. I was looking for an easy to slip on, sturdy and waterproof shoe for trail walks and light hikes. This shoe is very comfortable and the colours are quite nice. I would definitely go down one full size. I'm typically a 6.5 and ended up fitting a 5.5.

These are perfect for my winter hikes when I use them with gaiters, they are super comfy and I can't wait to use them in the summer!

Bought these last month as an upgrade to some Salomons I'd had 6 months and were ripped and leaking. So under warranty I was given a voucher. I love these so far, dry warm feet whilst out in the snow. I think they look fab too. No laces (fab). Only negative (tiny negative), is the fabric under the lace but, obviously to stop leaks, but it stops you opening the shoe as wide as you need to get your feet in.

Thanks for bringing back a wide shoe that is great for backpacking. Great support and great traction.

It is very hard for me to find a shoe that fits my small, wide, and high arch. As soon as I put this shoe on, it felt like it was custom made for my foot and fit perfect!

I took at least 15 km before these became comfortable but now they are my favourite pair of winter shoes. Really comfortable and easily go through an inch deep puddles.

I've purchased Salomon trainers winter /summer weights for 10 yrs +. I've never had a blister or a sore toe or even a burning on the soles of my feet. They are Bliss. I have tried other really good makes over the years but for me Salomon are the best

Got these for Christmas. They are stiffer than my previous ones, but are breaking in nicely! Love the quick lace and the Gortex water proofing! Can't wait for the next big adventure!!

This shoe is a game changer. Provides the stability of a my Salomon X Ultra 3 Mid GTX with a lower ankle and super lightweight. My first test run was on a 7 mile hike and it performed really well! Traction, stability, and grip over rocky terrain was solid with this shoe. Great arch support without needing after market insoles. Love this shoe and will be one of my go-to daily hikers. Salomon is stepping up their shoe game this year. Would highly recommend this shoe.

Quick look: grippy, waterproof, and roomy! My experience with Salomon shoes is in SpeedCross and CrossHikes so here's a comparison review: Compared to both, the X Ultra 4 GTX has a roomy toe box, which makes gnarly downhills a breeze for your tootsies. The sole of this shoe is wider than the SpeedCross5's, which makes this feel more stable and grounded. When I got my CrossHikes and when I got the X Ultra, both had a bit of a break in period in that the liner of the GTX shoes is a bit slippery and requires a few hikes to wear in so your sock isn't sliding around in your shoe. Overall, I love these shoes for hikes where I know there is a water crossing, and up to 8-10 miles. For longer hikes, I want the lightest shoe I have, which is the SpeedCross.

So light weight and comfortable! Literally no break in time, they fit perfectly out of the box. My favorite shoe from dog waking, to hiking. Great grip! Waterproof and easy to clean! They fit true to size!
