Ive been using the Salomon Speedcross 6 for trail running and hiking, and theyre fantastic. The cushioning is greatjust the right amount to keep my feet comfortable without being too soft. They handle rocky and steep trails really well, keeping my feet secure. I actually like them better than my hiking boots, especially for longer hikes. Theyre lighter but still sturdy enough for tough trails. The grip is excellent, even on wet ground, which makes me feel more confident. Overall, the SPEEDCROSS 6 is now my go-to shoe for outdoor adventures. I'm usually a size 6 but since I'll be hiking a lot and using thick socks, I got a 6.5 and it works perfectly!

I am totally sold with Salomon, especially the Speedcross. It is my go to shoe and I don't even look at other brands when I am looking for a hiking shoe. I love how comfortable and light they are, but they are also very sturdy and work great on even surfaces. The trails around us have lots of ups and down, a lot of loose rock and sand, and these shoes work great on every type of trail. You won't regret buying a pair, and you probably won't ever go back to other brands.

I bought these for my trip to Iceland and they didnt disappoint! Easy to get on, great for all sorts of terrain. Totally worth the money. I feel that they will last a long while as they seem to be high quality materials.

Not too wide. Look cute on. Great support for daily use.

These are the most comfortable trail running shoes I have ever owned! I have the Speedcross 3 and 4 and these are so much better. The 4's hurt my feet (too narrow in the forefoot). these are a bit wider in the forefoot making them so much more comfortable, and I love the material. I hope they never change these!

My husband and I are a big fan of Salomon Speedcross shoes for the multiple hikes we take. They are comfortable and have great grip on rocks. We unfortunately havent bought any in a couple years because we didnt like the color choices available. Luckily this year was better and I picked up the Tahitian Tide turquoise color and I love them!! They are true to size. Please continue to make the Speedcross in turquoise and blue colors. My husband bought the Rum/Cherry shoes. He likes them so much he wears them as his everyday shoe and hiking shoe.

I am very particular when it comes to my trail shoes. I only run not groomed trails. Lots of rocks and these shoes really hold up

I absolutely love this shoe its like putting on a slipper to go for a hike this is my second pair and I will be buying more please keep it in the line up Solomon!!!

Purchased a month ago and have worn on a couple of hikes so far. Immediately comfortable, cushioned and no issues during the break-in. Very happy with this purchase. My first pair & I would definitely buy again.

My wife had been drooling over these at EMS for a while. I got them for her for her birthday and she broke them in. They handled Banff national park with ease.

It's true to size and provides perfect support and grip. I run twice a week, 6km each, and it goes very well after 6 months.

This is a great shoe. No break in period required. My husband and I have been wearing SPEEDCROSS shoes over 15+ years and no complaints! Trained and wore to Mt. Everest base camp. No reason to try any other shoe.

Perfect right out of the box! Love the style and color! I wear. 7.5 and this 7.5 fits perfectly! Very lightweight, great support and amazing grippy sole!

These are the most comfortable shoes!!! My only complaint is that the loop laces are too long, this is the case with my other Solomon shoes as well. Yesterday while bike riding the loop got caught on the bike sprockets. Please shorten this loop!! Shoes felt true to size. Great arch support

I love the Solomon Speed Ross. This is my 6th pair and despite my best efforts to try other brands, I always come back. They have a arch support and hug the sides of my foot for a secure fit with lateral movements. I have a history of achilles tendinitis, plantar fasciitis and a bone had to be removed in my big toe. I wear these shoes all day most days. I usually wear a 9, but always get these in an 8.5. They are a narrow fit.

I lucked into a pair of Speedcross 3 at the Sports Basement in San Francisco after my favorite old pair of Inov8 finally wore out and I almost slid into a river in Sequoia National Park. I tried them on and was immediately impressed with how comfortable the fit was. There is plenty of room in the toe box, but the shoe doesn't move around on my heel. The slide laces are ingenious. No more untied strings. The grippy sole gave me confidence that I could walk on trails and not slip. Since then, I have bought several pair of Speedcross shoes. I used to wear boots all winter. Now I have four pair of Speedcross that I wear almost exclusively, all year round. The only problem I have is getting them before they're sold out!

I have been a long time fan of Salomon, but when the shoe didn't fit my daughter even though she owned a pair just like them previously and we were replacing them with this order we were unable to return because she wore them. Strongly suggest buying shoes for kids at an establishment that is more customer service oriented. Good luck.

I have owned probably ten pairs of speed cross. This was my first pair of the 6s and suddenly the size 9 is too big? Why would you change the size? That is so ridiculous. Unfortunately, these are the only shoes I have found that fit my narrow feet, so I guess I will be ordering another pair in 8.5. But Im really disappointed about the size change. And also the design keeps getting progressively uglier. Hopefully the 7s will be less gaudy.

I've been wearing the Salomon Speedcross trail runnings for hiking for the last 6 years, and they've been great. Now that I need a new pair I discovered that Salomon stopped making women's size 12, so they won't work for me anymore. Please sell the shoes in size 12 again!

Really great trail shoe. Super comfortable! Very durable. I had no problem breaking them in. I really enjoy wearing them!

My husband and I have been wearing, and wearing out, Salomon Speedcross shoes since 2010. They are our favorite shoe! We always have at least 2, if not 3, pairs around the house as the comfort of these shoes keep us wearing them all day. Every day we do some sort of hiking and find that the tread on these shoes are the best for any terrain. They have great grip on the rocks and help keep us from slipping when we hike up and down any steep hill. We have received many compliments on the shoe and have recommended them to many of our friends.

I've been wearing these sneakers exclusively since discovering them several years ago. I have horrible feet with multiple surgeries each and these shoes provide the right amount of support, room in the toe box, protection for the hiking, and generally, anything. (I know they're crazy expensive for "generally anything" but believe me, it's worth every dime.)

This is my 3rd pair of Speedcross 6. They fit like a glove and offer great stability. They make walking and climbing on any terrain fun and comfortable. The color is a plus! I highly recommend them.
