Love these shoes. No need to tie shoelaces, good grips, and comfortable but these shoes run large. I usually wear size 8 wide but size 8 is too big for me so I downsize to 7.5, but still feel big. Probably due to the stretchy material?

I bought these shoes to replace my 15yo REI boots and wanted something light, supportive without being pillowy, and sturdy. I usually get plantar fasciitis after long hikes but I did my first backpacking trip in these shoes averaging 7mi/day and had NO foot pain at all. Love these shoes and will definitely buy more!

My first time with this pair of Solomons, I was a Peace Corps volunteer in a remote area of South Africa. The durable tread handled the villages unpaved roads with ease and the insole gave me the support I needed to long-distance runs. I was hooked. Whenever I wear my current pair out, I order the same shoe in whatever color is on sale. My husband calls me the unofficial spokesperson because I tell all runners about how much I love them. Im typically a 7 but always order 7.5 to accommodate for any exercise-induced swelling

I bought it for my hiking trip and finding out it is very comfortable to wear it daily. It's wide enough for my bunion feet.

I have purchased multiple pairs of Speedcross and have a pair of 6. I was going to hike this morning and the lace broke. Fortunately I had my back up Speedcross 5 that I wore. I remembered why I needed new ones. Concerned about the laces- would be problematic if they broke during a hike.

I stopped liking Speedcross shoes because in Colorado where I live, the soles did not last on our sandy, rocky trails. These new Speedcross seem to have soles of a different material that seems tougher and longer lasting. We shall see how long they last. I like to fit and the way they look! Color is fun! They seem to run a bit large, evn though this is the size I always get.

I used a pair on a two week hiking trip in New Zealand and they were perfect. The nubby treads gave me the extra grip on muddy areas and the lightweight design meant I didnt feel like I was wearing combat boots. Just bought a new pair for my next adventure.

This is my third pair of Speedcross and probably tenth pair of Salomon's. I wouldn't walk/run/hike in anything else. They are so supportive and comfortable!

super comfortable. true to size. even though they are wide, they are still a bit narrow for my foot, so i can't lace them too tight. perfect for the gym

I have a low volume foot and many times even Salomons are too roomy in the midfoot. Not these. Plenty of healthy-toe room in the toe box. I remove the plastic lacing . Good for steep rocky and rooty downhills.

Running shoes now feel like elf shoes - wide toe box makes me think of flippers. The Speedcross is normal like shoes 10 years ago. Wonderful for running on uneven suburban streets. Even after stepping in a deep puddle my feet stay dry enough to finish a run. A wonderful shoe.

This shoe is a perfect fit and Arch to ease my Achilles pain. It is so comfortable, I am able to resume walking. I also like the lacing system that utilizes a strong lace that can be pulled quickly to tighten, and slide release to loosen. The lace material could be a bit smoother.

I bought for light hiking and for their incredible traction, but I find myself reaching for them constantly for their all-day comfort. Such an excellent sneaker. Highly recommend.

I have been wearing this shoe since it hit the market. It immediately became my most favorite shoe. The current edition is over-engineered. Way too much material-the bulk around the tongue is excessive, unnecessary, and often makes for an uncomfortable fit. The thickening of the sole makes them clunky. The change in the fabric has made them less breathable and less flexible for trail running. All of these changes have made this a more expensive, lesser quality shoe.

I live in a rocky area and prefer to trail run in a firmer shoe. These provide me with the stability that I need for that terrain. I have around ten trail runs with them now and havent had any issues - no wobbly ankle sensations or soreness at all.

I bought these shoes with great anticipation, friend of mine has them and turned me on to them. we run with our dogs in dog agility trials and needed light weight good traction shoes. I got mine just before the trial. The second day of trial, only third time I had them on, I pulled on the laces to tighten them and the bracket the lace goes through tore through!!!! so bummed out I sent them back. the lace is a thin cord, so maybe this is design flaw and it cuts through the lace holders?

The Speedcross 6 is the most comfortable trail shoes I have ever owned. I had the Speedcross 3 and 4 versions prior and although I did like them, they hurt my feet due to having a more narrow forefoot. These have a wider forefoot which is perfect for me. They are so comfortable and durable. I also love the softer fabric. Please do not ever stop selling these. I purchased a second pair just to have. They are perfect for hiking or trail running.
