I have been wearing Salomon for over 10 years. As an ultra runner my speedcross shoes take a serious beating, but stand up to the test. I decided to go with the Gortex model for races that involve small stream crossings. My feet stay completely dry. I would highly recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a rugged, lightweight shoe with superior traction and comfort.

This is my fifth pair of the Speedcross model of shoe. I wear them for hiking with my dogs on a scrappy bit of remnant prairie in north Texas over rocky terrain with sections that can be quite muddy. Lots of loose scrabble and rocks with steep climbs and a few intermittent creeks to climb through. They are perfect. Comfortable fit. Just the right amount of drop and good ground feel. Snug around my heels with room for my toes.

I love them. Fast lace, gortex are warm in winter, keep cold and wet out

This is my second pair of shoes from Salomon, best trail runners I have ever run in. The trails I have around me are very rocky, lots of hidden tree roots, these give me the extra stability I need when running

This is my fourth speedcross purchase over 4 years and I love it! I walk and run with my dog on trails everyday and these waterproof shoes are super comfortable with good support. I also love the new red color! I have wide feet and usually in between size 7.5 and 8, but 7.5 works well for me in speeedcross.

I have a narrow foot with a high arch and these fit perfectly. I run outdoors and work out at Orange Theory, meaning a lot of running. These have great cushion and support.

Always happy with the Salomon running shoes. Bought the regular Speedcross in May cause the local vendor didn't have my size in the Goretex and I needed a replacement stat. So I ordered from the website in September to get my size and a bit disappointed that the Goretex Model runs a half size bigger than the other. At least with the hiking boots Salomon recommends sizing down a whole size which is true.

I LOVE these shoes and buy a new pair every winter. I live, work and play in the mountains of Colorado. They are perfect for snowy or muddy wet days. Great traction and my feet stay mostly dry

This is my third pair of Salomon Speedcross. I have small feet and love how these supportive, well-constructed, shoes fit & feel! I wear them for trail running, mountain biking, and most other outdoor activities requiring traction or snow/water protection. They are my go-to for daily winter activities in the snowy Rocky Mountains.

I love everything about these shoes, they feel powerful when you wear them and even when they start to get worn down a bit they still perform. Even after 700 miles the tread is not fully worn in some spots. Wore them on a through hike that was about 540 miles and I would absolutely recommend

Bought these to replace a 4-yr old pair of Salomon GoreTex SpeedCross shoes. They are great for muddy, snowy, slushy conditions.

I love these trail shoes, I always run off road in my Salomon shoes. They have great grip over all terrains and being Gore-tex they keep your feet dry. I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys cross country running. I have also run Snowdon marathon in these shoes 80% is on road and I finished the event blister free. Always use the size guide to get your perfect size as they tend not to follow the UK sizing compared to other brands. I use a size 7 and my shoe size is 5.

These were the perfect solution for a trip to Portugal during hot weather - lightweight uppers but rugged soles for those slippery, hilly cobblestone streets and alleyways.

This shoe fits my foot perfectly, comfortable with good support. Love the non-tie enclosure. It's my go-to waterproof trail walking shoe and I'm very happy with it. My 3rd pair over the years and I hope Salomon keeps it in the lineup.

Very sharp looking shoes! I got them in black. I wear them daily, not just for exercising. I have 7-8 pair of the Speedcross 3, I love them too, but I am glad that I ordered these, I like these even more. I will be purchasing more pairs, maybe in different colors too, depending on what will be available in the future. Overall great purchase, highly recommend them.

These shoes are the most comfortable, light weight hiking shoes I have ever had. The grip is awesome, especially on wet surfaces.

I recently did a Tough Mudder and these shoes proved exceptional! I was watching the other participants run through the muck & mud and they were slipping & sliding all over the place-I was not! I even exclaimed, out loud, at one point, "best shoes ever!" Of course when I got home, they were completely encased in muck in mud, but I got them super clean just using my outdoor hose and they are back to practically being brand new! I'd like to add as well that I did not need to "break these shoes in". From the moment I put them on, they fit great.
