I was apprehensive about purchasing a pair of shoes online, especially when I would be walking in them for 9+km every day. Would the fit be right? I was pleasantly surprised to find that the fit was perfect. In addition, the shoes provided support in all the places my feet needed it most. The stylish looks were a definite bonus. And I love the lace system. I wore through the soles under the heel with other shoes I have purchased (not Salomon), but this shoe looks like it will last longer, with a thick (but lightweight) sole. On the day my shoes arrived, I immediately put them on, and wore them all day. Hours and a few km later, including mostly pavement walking, my feet still felt great. At the end of the day, my feet thanked me for making this purchase.

The Speed Cross 6 Gore Tex are a superior shoe in terms of comfort, durability, grip and keeping your feet dry. They are the only outdoor sneakers I will wear. The price could be a bit better though. They are expensive.

Great comfort, cushioning, style. Ran short uncharacteristically so returned for larger size.

Converted to a Salomon wearer! My husband and I love to hike and with every shoe I've bought I've always had issues with traction. So when looking for a shoe, knowing that I was going to tackle the trails in Kauai, I needed something that was suitable for all the elements, specifically mud. These shoes did not disappoint! They held up in steep terrain and muddy conditions. We crossed rivers, and even went swimming at the bottom of a waterfall. I was especially pleased that there were no hotspots. I typically wear a size 7 1/2 and found that the shoes were a little bit roomy. If I would've had time before our trip, I would have purchased a size 7 just for comparison. Little did I know that my husband also purchased a pair of Salomons before our trip. He was equally as pleased with his shoes as I was with mine! #lifers We would 100% recommend!

I purchased this shoe for my trip to New Zealand. Not only to I love the look, they are super comfortable, the shoe grips well in rough terrain, and they clean up easy!! I will definitely be buying this shoe again!

I've worn many Salomon trail shoes over the years, and these are the best ones yet. They're so comfortable on my feet that I've been wearing them for everyday use, too. Off-road, they're stable and waterproof, as promised, and the non-slip tread has been great on slippery rocks and wet grass. I'm not a huge fan of the lacing system because I prefer Lock Laces, which flex (and Lock Laces don't fit easily through the lacing holes on these), but this isn't a dealbreaker for me. I broke one of my feet in 8 places years ago, and some trail shoes cause that foot to go numb even when laced loosely, but these hug my foot without compressing it. Big fan!

I bought this shoe to wear running in the wintertime in Montana. The fit is great for a someone like me with a narrow foot and the GTX lining is perfect to keep my feet dry during runs in the snow.

I only buy Salomon trail running sneakers. They're wonderful. Though I miss the colors of my originals. Purple with turquoise tread.

I bought these trail hikers about a month ago. Excellent purchase. I have another pair that are about 8 months old and I love them as well. They are sturdy and supportive. Heavier than my normal walking/hiking shoes but I've adapted. So glad I purchased!

Bought them as sneakers that I can also use for hiking. Been to Cape Town a few weeks ago and they were literally perfect for all the hikes and also for trail running. With the grip I wasn't worried about sliding down anywhere and they look cool on top of that. Really happy with the purchase

These are my first pair of Salomon shoes. The fit is one size smaller than other sneakers and trail hiking shoes... I normally wear a size 8 but am wearing a size 7 in this shoe... very comfortably I might add. Feel awesome on grass and dirt but a little strange on regular paved roads which is thankfully a short sprint to the park. So far really like them and would definitely recommend!

I returned to buying Speedcross GTX after a brief flirtation with another trail brand, that I very quickly regretted. The bliss of having comfortable, light, waterproof shoes that feel grippy and stable in terrain from deep mud to slippy grass, to mountain rock paths is unmatched. The fit and grip of the shoe around the foot is great (I always go one size up from my normal footwear for running shoes). These shoes needed no breaking in, keep my feet dry and warm, and are brilliant for long runs.

3rd pair of these shoes, great for running in dirt for dog agility!

This is my second pair of Speedcross 6, but my first time buying a Gortex running shoe. I train on trails in the early mornings, typically passing through quite a bit of high wet grass and shrubs and finally decided that enjoying dry feet on those runs was worth whatever I might have to compromise in ventilation. It was a good call! A month later I still get gitty at the feeling of dry socks when I know they should be soaked. The heat buildup is not an issue really, at least when the environment is properly matched. I did wear them on a travel day for lack of having another clean pair of kicks and they were too sweaty, but it was out of context and I definitely don't fault the shoes. They are very comfortable, easy to put on and take off and feel secure on my foot while running, providing the stability and traction I need on the trail in all kinds of conditions. I also really like the look. The colors are great and they hide their dirtiness well, which my last pair (light green) definitely did not do! Having a pair of shoes that I like generally boosts my motivation in those dark hours of the morning when my subconscious mind is scanning for an excuse to not head out on the run. Everything helps! I'm looking forward to some marathon length trail events with them later this year.

I needed to replace an old pair of Salomon's that I only used in winter. I wore down the tread, and they'd lost some of their waterproof capabilities. Hemmed and hawed over a couple other winter-specific Salomon's before choosing these beauties in all black. The shoe lasts used by Salomon are second-to-none. Highly recommend the SPEEDCROSS 6 GORE-TEX. I've always had great fit with the Speedcross models.

This is the most comfortable, waterproof, secure shoe. Feel very confident walking on uneven terrain. I usually wear a 7-7.5, ordered a 7.5 but had to exchange for a size 8 which fits perfectly. Thinking about ordering a second pair. Highly recommend this shoe

I purchased these in Fall 2023 in preparation for winter in Calgary, AB. At the beginning of January I injured my knee quite severely and these shoes have been a blessing as I traverse the snow and ice. During kid drop off one morning I was the only parent who could confidently walk across the snow-ice ground, all while wearing a knee brace for support!! These are a must for people who have injured their leg(s) and/or who are recovering and need to keep moving. I feel very comfortable navigating all terrain with my injury when I'm in these shoes!

I've been wearing these shoes literally for years. Originally starting with the regular speed cross and have switched to the gortex model. I have used for running trails and hiking, although my running days have finally ended after 40 years. Still would not wear anything else for hiking trails. Great traction, light, no shoestrings and like the heel to toe drop.

Purchased a month ago and the shoe fits and feels amazing. Highly recommend
