I always wear a men's 13, even in another pair of Salmon Speedcross 6; however, this pair is way too short, maybe more like an 11 1/2 or 12 at the most. I had to return them. A bit frustrated in that I had to pay return shipping... for a product that was obviously (to me) sized improperly.

I've been racing/trekking/adventuring in Salomon shoes since 1996. Simply put I LOVE THEM and am a loyal customer. I currently am working through 2 sets of SpeedCross and Ultra X - they are my go to's for every adventure. They are the best fitting, most versatile and long lasting shoes on the market - period. However the MASSIVE fail in the Speedcross is the sole -it's as slippery as all get out on rock and almost borderline negligent in how the sole just slides across wet stone. I'm not sure what Salomon did but since 2019 that sole has been a red flag for me and has made me have to drastically slow down when getting into downhill rocky sections (nightmare when wet). I love the shoes, am a rabid fan but seriously wish they could fix this problem.

These shoes are fantastic. They fit perfectly and I couldn't be more happy with them.

The Salomon Speedcross 6 Gore-Tex impressed me with its excellent grip on muddy trails, waterproof Gore-Tex protection, and lightweight comfort. Its Quicklace system and precise fit made it perfect for technical terrain. A great choice for wet and challenging conditions

Speed cross are my got to shoes. Got these to wear when wx is wetter, since they are gore-Tex

This is my second pair of Speedcross Gortex (5 & 6). I've found them to be extremely comfortable. I have a history of plantar fasciitis and have custom orthotics as a result. These are the only shoes that I don't use them in because of the high arch, great fit and exceptional comfort. They treads wear down a bit faster than some shoes but the tradeoff in comfort is worth it. I use them for hiking, walking, golf and everyday wear.

I have always loved the speed cross shoes, I have had at least 8 pairs. I particularly like this one. Very comfortable and excellent grip. My only complaint in the past is the grip wears down quickly , I hope I dont have this issue this time. Great shoe !

This is my daily shoe for trails that get soft and muddy with rain and they are are the most stable of the shoes I've tried. Fit is a little snug so with a slightly wide foot you might want to go a half size up. This might be isolated to just the goretex version.

This is my fourth pair. My second pair of the Gore-tex version. I love them! I wear them for everything!

I have found myself saying this is the best shoe I've ever worn at least three times now. It really is. I've just moved back to Alaska and it's perfect for this early snow and slush we've been getting. My feet stay warm and dry and comfortable!

This is my first shoe dedicated to trail running, and it fits well and feels solid when running! I've run in pretty much all conditions hot/dry, cold/wet and my feet have been comfortable during and after each run. I'd say it's a good shoe.

Fits 1/2 size smaller than normal. You will need to size up 1/2 size.

I use these shoes in lots of ways and they dont disappoint . They dont have grip in wet/slimy rocks . Other than that theyre amazing . Water proofing wise I have no problems.

Excellent grip on slick rocks and gravel trails. Fit a little smaller than other Salomon shoes so maybe size up 1/2 size.

Purchased these for a hiking trip in Europe. Very comfortable out of the box. Still getting use to the lacing system.

I am extremely happy with the shoes. the fit great. Look great. And very durable. I'm a firefighter and wear them during performing our daily duties and some training. They are very comfortable and are holding up very well

I bought a pair for myself, mainly to use while playing softball - they are lightweight, comfortable, grippy and waterproof! I just bought this pair for my son who just took them hiking, and he said they were his most comfortable Salomons yet!

I've had some iteration of this shoe for 5+ years and will continue for the next 5 or more. Light weight, durable, great traction, and the goretex has been amazing!

I have had a pair of salomon hiking boots for years and they finally needed to be retired. I was planning for a hiking trip in Glacier National Park and needed something with great traction for scrambles, but didn't want to go for a boot again. I stick to Salomon for all my footwear and heard great things about the Speedcross model from several friends. After hiking 30ish miles in 3 days, I know I made the right choice. They are very comfortable and they held up to all the trail conditions in the park. Another great shoe from Salomon!

This is my 4th pair of Speedcorss GTX shoes and I cannot wear them out other than the soles. I really need the waterproof and the traction is great. I purchased these for a Spartan Trail Half Marathon in West Virginia and honestly, I pulled them out of the box, put them on, and put in 14.6 miles with absolutely no issues, blisters, or foot pain. I love these shoes. There are starting to be lots of other shoes in the trail market, but, the extra ankle stability, grip and tight fit make it a "no consideration" purchase. My only grip would be they are a bit tight (every pair has been) in the toebox. This usually loosens up and I like a tighter fit (they feel more narrow) for running and on trails a skinner shoe seems easier to navigate in. Less chance of snagging a wider fitting shoe on rocks or roots. That is just my opinion, so I will live with the tight-toe box.
