This lightweight Gore-Tex shoe is a must for my winter running routine. Although it's a trail shoe, I use it for road running to great effect. I'm on my second pair and don't plan to use anything else going forward other than Salomon shoes!

Love these! Super comfortable and great grip for trail running.

No complaints - they hold up well and have wicked traction.

Ice and snow are no match for these great trail running shoes. Great traction and easy to adjust cables. Just a great shoe.

I took a chance on these trail runners. I have not purchased Salomon before, but these looked like the best gore tex shoes I could find in the category. I was skeptical about the lacing system, but so far so good there. The shoes are comfortable right out of the box and keep my feet dry and warm.

I have owned several pairs of Solomon shoes. Sadly my more favorite ankle high is no longer available but I love the Speedcross 6. I do wish it had a finger pull on the heel but other than that it's exactly the shoe I needed.

This has to be my 25th Pair of Salomons and they are just the best Gortex shoes on the market. Easy to get on and off, great grip on snow and wet surfaces and keep your feet dry. Hold up year round.

Would be 5-stars hands down however quality issues leave me disappointed. I am fan of Salomon, love their boots and have had great experience there so decided to give these shoes a try. Out of the box comfort, incredible grip, and lightweight. Where I find issue is that the sole at the toe (see pic) started to delaminate 15 miles into their first ever hike, which is just beyond disappointing. Total trip was 32 miles over two days and seeing this is really worrisome being their maiden voyage. Was left wanting more with regard to how well the gore-tex kept me dry as well. I feel the climasol technology in the boots I have does a better job which I found surprising, and disappointing.

I love these! Mud, rain, regular day and with thick socks my feet are warm. You dont need to lace them- just pull a string. I have in green. Im going to try another color.

Shoes are always 90 percent or above. I like the new color combination, washed the shoes, air dried, fit was as good as when first broke in.

I bought this to hike the Juliana Trail in Slovenia and it was perfect for many surfaces.

There are only 2 gripes I have about these shoes. The first is the fit: they are about a half size too long- I usually wear a 13 and that is what I ordered. There is almost a half inch of space at the toe, which is a bit more than there should be. The second is the wear on the bottom sole. I have worn them for almost a year and a half, and certainly am not gentle on them, so perhaps that is why the grip wears the way it has. I would wager I have a solid 9 months of wear left on this pair, which is very good, all things considered. The upper and Gore-Tex lining are still intact. They are certainly a tough shoe. Concerning comfort, they are fantastic in that regard. Besides the extra toe space, they fit very well, and break in took maybe a day. I use them for hiking, lifting, range days and just about everything else, and they take great care of my feet.

I have owned many versions of the speed cross over the years and this is the best one so far. Love the style and especially the fit. Glad to see Salomon designed this shoe a little wider in the fore foot. This was a change I was glad to see. About 200 miles on them so far and they are my old faithful go to shoe for mountain and trail up here in Alaska. Thanks Salomon! Keep up the good work!

Broke these in prior to a 4 day backpacking trip in mountains. Overall I am happy. However, there is a line where the sole meets the rest of the shoe that creates a ridge on the heel. On day 3 it began rubbing and gave a blister. I can run my finger along the line and feel the change that causes the rub.

Size 14 for my 15 year old nephew! And his feet are still growing. He says they are pretty comfortable and he wears them most every day.

I like all aspects of the model so far. I would give it a 5 but only have owned for a short time and worn a few times.

Unfortunately the black pair I received in the mail unexpectedly didnt match the pictures online. The tongue & toe box had SPEED CROSS 6 in white letters stamped on it. Great shoes, but beware you might be surprised if it has text on it.

I always wear a men's 13, even in another pair of Salmon Speedcross 6; however, this pair is way too short, maybe more like an 11 1/2 or 12 at the most. I had to return them. A bit frustrated in that I had to pay return shipping... for a product that was obviously (to me) sized improperly.

I've been racing/trekking/adventuring in Salomon shoes since 1996. Simply put I LOVE THEM and am a loyal customer. I currently am working through 2 sets of SpeedCross and Ultra X - they are my go to's for every adventure. They are the best fitting, most versatile and long lasting shoes on the market - period. However the MASSIVE fail in the Speedcross is the sole -it's as slippery as all get out on rock and almost borderline negligent in how the sole just slides across wet stone. I'm not sure what Salomon did but since 2019 that sole has been a red flag for me and has made me have to drastically slow down when getting into downhill rocky sections (nightmare when wet). I love the shoes, am a rabid fan but seriously wish they could fix this problem.

These shoes are fantastic. They fit perfectly and I couldn't be more happy with them.

The Salomon Speedcross 6 Gore-Tex impressed me with its excellent grip on muddy trails, waterproof Gore-Tex protection, and lightweight comfort. Its Quicklace system and precise fit made it perfect for technical terrain. A great choice for wet and challenging conditions

Speed cross are my got to shoes. Got these to wear when wx is wetter, since they are gore-Tex

This is my second pair of Speedcross Gortex (5 & 6). I've found them to be extremely comfortable. I have a history of plantar fasciitis and have custom orthotics as a result. These are the only shoes that I don't use them in because of the high arch, great fit and exceptional comfort. They treads wear down a bit faster than some shoes but the tradeoff in comfort is worth it. I use them for hiking, walking, golf and everyday wear.

I have always loved the speed cross shoes, I have had at least 8 pairs. I particularly like this one. Very comfortable and excellent grip. My only complaint in the past is the grip wears down quickly , I hope I dont have this issue this time. Great shoe !
