I was only able to get 5 miles on these shoes before my 1/2 marathon. My fault of course because I was really anxious to use these for the race. The cushioning in these shoes is great, the soles of my feel love them. I did end up with small blisters on the outside of my big toes after the 1/2. I'm not sure of the cause. They do not appear to rub so my only thought is it was from going up and down in the cushion I love so much. I am not ready to give up on these yet. Going to do some more daily runs in them and then try them on a weekend 10+ mile which should give me a good indication if this problem will continue. Even so they will be great walking shoes for out with my dog.

First off, don't let the 4 stars fool you, I'd buy these shoes again in a heartbeat. My only complaint is because of my diabetic neuropathy, by the end of my work day (on my feet 8 hours straight) these shoes start to feel like a cage. Maybe I should have bought a bigger size.
Aside from that I feel like I'm walking on air and I love them.

I started running in Hoka...3 years ago approx. and loved loved loved the cushioning which is what I needed. I believe I started with the Bondi 7. Love them. Running on clouds! Then you discontinued and came out with the Bondi 8 so I had no choice. (runners HATE when company's make their favorite sneaker obsolete!!) Just haven't been the same without enough cushioning. I'm on my 3rd pair of the Bondi 8 and now had to purchase insoles to add extra comfort. I may try another brand next time i'm ready for a new running sneaker. Sorry!

Shoes are comfortable and supportive. I first got a larger side in the wide and they were HUGE. Exchange for smaller size and width was easy and quick. They are still a bit big but comfortable. I would not size up per other reviews.

Reason for 4 stars not for me. Has great cushion. I have worn women's Cllifton9 7 W. Thought Bondi would have more cushion. It does have more cushion but. Even though I ordered 7/12 W it hits my big toe bones wrong. I'll be ordering Clifton.

With bone spurs these aren't so bad. I still wish for a little more cushion inside.

I am a hair stylist, so I stand for hours. These shoes are incredibly comfortable and supportive. Great for my heals as well. Only issue I have is with the toe. Even with the wide width it's kinda tight.

There have been changes in design resulting in a more tapered toe box and a slight shortening of the shoe. For me this means I have some rubbing on two toes. In hindsight, a half size bigger may rseolve this. Love the black and white color.

These are the best tennis shoes I've purchased in my life. I have neuropathy really bad in my feet and Lee seem to feel pretty darn good.

I have not worn the Bondi 8 yet, but I purchased this pair and Arahi 7 at the same time as first time buyer. I was sized by a company called Runners Corner. They sized me at an 11. Wearing the Arahi 7's for the last few days I feel like I should have ordered a 10.5 but I going with the flow because I have squeezing my feet into shoes that were too small to me for my whole life. I am hoping I did not invest in two pairs of Hoka's at the wrong size.
Excited to be part of the Hoka Family, we will be sizing my hubby this weekend and ordering him a pair!!

Comfortable BUT the insole holding the tongue in place rubs against the inside of my foot. I don't understand this feature. What is the point? That's the main thing that bothers me about these expensive shoes. I would buy more but I hate this feature.

Very comfortable and I like the style. I used to wear the Arahi but decided to change it up. The only issue is the white on this shoe. It's a cool bright white. Almost looks like it has the tiniest hint of blue. I bought a few pairs of different styles to try on which were also white and this one was a different white than the others. I had to think about whether I was going to keep it bc of the color.

Sized up a half size. Fits great, super comfortable. But just a heads up for anyone ordering sandstone/cream, it's definitely just millennial pink.

Overall they are a great pair of sneakers. The toe box is a little on the wide side but okay as long as I tighten the laces well each time that I wear them. The padding is okay but my feet started to feel the impact after 2.5 miles walking on the sidewalk. I may try inserts in them or see if they become more comfortable with wear. They are springy and I like that feeling on my joints.

I love the shoe with the exception of the top part of the heel. When you put the shoe on, the heel top folds in and is very hard to adjust.

I'm a long time Hoka fan/wearer. Please stop sacrificing the quality on each new version released. My Bondi 7s are >2 years old and have wear but no tears. My Bondi 8s are < 1 year old and are already getting holes in the soles and the uppers. Those of us who.love this shoe will always buy more, I just purchased my 3rd pair of 8s, however if this poorer quality continues, I will be looking elsewhere.

Love the color of these bondi 8 shoes. They are too narrow even in wide for me. I have two other bondi 8 shoes ordered from Zappos that are perfect. Different colors, different fit?

Good shoes. I've been wearing Kizik and I think the Hoka seem more durable. A little tedious to put on because heel area is high

I really really really wanted to love these shoes! The cushioning is just phenomenal!! I ordered a size up from my usual size as was suggested in the sizing guide. They were extremely comfortable except for my arches. The more I walked in them, the more the balls of my feet, my heals, and my toes loved them. Unfortunately, the more I walked in them, the more the arches of my feet hurt . I know they are great for most people. I guess I'm just in that 1%. I did go to a local running store to try different sizes of the same shoe and another style, but the all affected me the same. Sad to say I am returning.
