I really did like the Bondi 8 shoes but I wasn't in love with them. I love the Clifton's but wanted to try the Bondi since they were supposedly more plush. I have ankle and feet problems so plush sounded good as an everyday shoe. While they were comfortable, they felt bigclumsy actually. The fit was right so I believe it's the shape of the sole and the stack height. My Clifton's on the other hand felt natural. Between the two I would still say the Bondi (in my opinion) is not nearly as comfortable or as cushioned as the Bondi. Yet, that's what Hoka and many others claim Bondi's to be, more cushion than the Clifton. To each their own is the case here and they are worth trying. I returned the Bondi and will stay true to the Clifton for comfort and cushion.
Please note: I am not a runner. I bought these shoes because my I have problem feet/ankles. I wanted a shoe that offers a soft but stable ride. I love the rocker sole of Hoka shoes too.
Also, I sized up 1/2 size and it's a perfect fit.

I am older, not a runner, have foot problems, and was looking for a well-cushioned everyday shoe. My son wears Bondi and they have helped his foot issues tremendously. While the shoe is extremely roomy and comfortable, I was surprised to find that it felt as if the cushioning was too much for me and was throwing my balance off. I returned the shoe for that reason only and have since tried the Gaviota, which works much better. Hokas are quality, well-made shoes and customer service is top notch!

These shoes are amazing! Only complaint is that they aren't wide enough for me. I'm a 6.5/7 in length. Ordered the wide in 7 and they fit, but my toes were scrunched. Not a good feeling on long runs. I ended up ordering another pair in wide 7.5 They felt better but cld still use more wiggle room in the toe. The Rincon wides offer the toe room I need, but these Bondi's are more comfy overall. I do love these shoes tho and look forward to my runs in them.

I recently had an injury to my knee and ankle and was recommend to try Hoka sneakers so I purchased the Bondi 8. They are very comfortable and give great support to my ankle and knee but after wearing them for 2 weeks every day to work they began to make a squeaking noise. I am still wearing them but the squeaking noise can be a little embarrassing when walking down a quiet corridor lol I ordered my regular size which is a 7 1/2 and they are a little big on me but that being said I do love the sneaker they are extremely comfortable.

I loved the feel of the shoe but it is much lighter color in person than it appeared on the website. I decided to keep it but I was really wanting a darker shade.

This model came recommended for pain from hallux rigidus. I had to order a size up and wide width as recommended by the sizing chart. This turned out to be a good recommendation. I was disappointed in the arch support so I have added an insert which helps and fits nicely. While I am able to walk more comfortably I find it is not the stiff rocker soul it is advertised to be. So far this has been the best option in a walking shoe for me. Not sure if I will order again, but might try other models.

I use my new Hoka's at the gym AND for walking. Not only are they comfortable but I get lots of compliments every time I wear them. The only reason I gave them 4 stars rather than 5 is because I still have to buy inserts for my high arches. The shoes are expensive enough but yet I still have to spend money on inserts so that's a bit of a bummer.

I work in the lunch room at the school and needed a shoe with good support and all day comfort. The Bondi 8 are amazingly comfortable especially when walking. Walking is effortless. You feel like you're being propelled forward. My legs, knees and back are no longer hurting. These shoes are fabulous as long as you are moving, but they kill my feet when just standing. Minus 1 star for that. Over all I'm happy and I ordered a second pair so I can alternate them out. I have very wide feet so I ordered a half size bigger in wide and they fit perfect.

I've only worn these for one 10 hour work shift. I can already tell they are helping with my ankle and knee posture, I just wish the insoles were a little bit more cushiony. The outter soles do provide adequate bounce though and almost make up for the lack of insole cushion.

These are the most comfortable, pavement friendly shoes I've ever had. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 was because of the sizing advice I received on the Website. It asked me what size I wear in various brands and I said a 7 in a particular brand so Hoka recommended a 7.5. Now having worn them multiple times I regret not going with my usual size because I can feel the oversizing now. I can live with it but my next pair will be my usual size 7.

I wear these shoes from the time I get up in the morning until I get ready to sit down at night to read or watch TV. They are very comfortable. I also usually walk 30-45 minutes per day in the country in rough terrain. They are very serviceable and last a long time. I will add that I put another insole in them for extra support.

I've worn Bondi 6 for many years. This Bondi 8 has a much wider platform which makes the shoe look quite large.
That being said, I ordered a wide width for the first time to accommodate my foot following surgery 3 months ago. Fusion surgery and this is the first shoe on my foot in 12 weeks..... Needed the wider width to get my foot into the shoe and provide ample room in the toe box which this accomplishes. What is surprising is that the heel is nice and snug. Expected my heel was going to swim in a wider width size but it's not which is a bonus considering my situation.
Overall, this Bondi 8 wide width provides the shoe I need at the moment. Still wish designers would come up with a Bondi that has a smaller, more sleek profile like my Bondi 5 & 6's.

Wanted to really love these after all the reviews but returned. Didn’t seem to be as good & have the support likeTaos. Seem to be more like Nike. I’ve been wearing Taos for many years. Keep going back to them. Didn’t think Hoka was worth the money.

I was so hopeful this shoe would fit. It was the shoe my podiatrist recommended. I ordered wide and it just was not wide enough and put way too much pressure on the outside of my foot. I suffer from severe Morton's Neuroma and need a wide shoe but after trying this one I'm on the hunt for a brand with extra wide options. It is a beautiful shoe. It was exactly as described and I would loved to have kept this shoe in a heartbeat had it been wide enough but sadly it didn't even feel like a wide shoe at all so I unfortunately had to return it.

I am a huge Bondi fan and still am, the only reason I am giving this specific purchase a 4 is because the white was SO WHITE that is was a light blue in all types of light.
I ended up returning them since I was looking for a basic white shoe for theme park walking. I think Hoka lacks in the basic white sneaker realm and I will probably get some Cloud Novas since their white sneaker is more aesthetically pleasing but they are definitely not my first choice in comfort - that will always be bondi.

Very nice pretty shoe. The sole and the sides are definitely something I have been trying to get use to. Drove in them the other day It scared meI'm use to the narrower sides of Skechers. Not sure I would drive in them again, however, very nice and helpful when walking. Would recommend. Especially if you suffer from neuropathy and fallen arches.

These are nice shoes. However, the exterior front was too wide which made them unattractive. I exchanged them with Clifton 9. Very happy with Clifton 9 sneakers.

I bought these for myself and my mom. My mom likes hers and said they relieve her big toes pain. I tired mine and had to return them cause I felt like carrying the bricks under my feet. They are bulky and definitely not ergonomic for my feet. I kept the Clifton 8 and returned these Bondi 8. For the width, Clifton is a bit wider may be because the sides stay flat instead of cuving up a bit in Bondi.
