This is my 4th purchase of Hoka shoes. I primarily use theses shoes for running 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. I find the Mach 5 model super comfortable and makes each stride easy. My only complaint is, compared to all the other models I've purchased, I don't care for the thin tongue, it feels cheaply constructed and worried it might tear easily.

Hoka is one of the few spots shoe manufacturers that offer their shoes wide sizes. Their arch support and heel cup are comfort supreme. No better shoe made.

I used this product in my work and perfect when it comes to comfort 100% very comfortable. This is my second pair and I really loved it.

Doesn't have the support or comfort other shoes have had in the past.

Two new knees in 2022 walk every morning they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet.

Its perfect. Its like I didn't even feel it when I started running. I float like the clouds but still has that responsiveness when I do sprints. I would recommend this to all my friends and family who loves to run. This is the epitome of cardio. I'm a wide guy so I ordered the 9.5 W and it fit snuggly

My 2nd pair of Mach 5 is just as comfortable as my 1st. I love the bright Hoka colors

Good shoe to run in, but the colorways are awful. I bought one in black, but chose to get some ASICS after that due to the awful colors that the Mach 5 comes in. Hoka, please put out some better colorways in the Mach 6! I would've bought 2 more pairs of the Mach 5 if the colors had been better. Instead, I turned to another brand and am discovering that I like the Novablast. Opportunity lost for Hoka.

Very comfortable, great for everyday wear and the gym.

Great shoe, however they have seemed to break down faster than the other 2 pairs of Mach 5s that I have. I continually rotate my shoes and these have seemed to break down comfort wise.

Comfortable good fit

Great line of shoes. Use for both training and competing. My go to sneaker when working out. The only negative I have is the cost. These are not home grown shoes. Probably a huge mark up from actual manufacturing cost. Ya, I know the research and development cost needs to be covered, but! Nevertheless, I will continue to replace my HOKA shoes as needed with a new pair. I do appreciate the that occasionally your shoes are on sale, that's when I buy them, or last years model. Thanks.

My adult son asked for a pair of Hoka's for Christmas. Yesterday's text:"Ran 5.5 miles in the new shoes the other day with no pain! It felt like I had a new leg." A ringing endorsement from a 26 y/o.

I was skeptical about these, they are a little odd looking and I wasn't sure how they would fit, but I AM A BELIEVER! These are so comfortable, so much support and so great for long hours walking. I won't wear any others.

1st time trying these. I like the quality & comfort.

I recently switched to Hoka because I wanted a lower heel drop and frankly I wanted to see what all the fuss was all about. I started my Hoka journey conservatively with the Clifton 8 initially. While I liked how soft the shoe was, it was too squishy and lacked any real energy return, especially on my tempo or interval days. That being said I liked them for my long, slow runs. After reading the rave reviews for the Mach 4 I purchased the Mach 5. I received them yesterday and immediately strapped them on today for an 8 mile tempo run. All I can is WOW! These shoes are exactly what I was looking for in a daily trainer or even race day shoe. I was little worried when I first put them on because it felt very soft, especially in the heel. However, once I started running these shoes felt great with the right amount of softness and energy return. I actually found myself running about 30 seconds faster than my target pace in these shoes. For me, these are the ideal non-plated speed/daily trainer/race day shoe.

The Mach 5 is a magical shoe that is cushioned enough to wear daily without causing wear and tear on your body, but still rides incredibly fast. This is the only shoe I've tried that has both of these traits. The shoe fit is great. The two shoe fit problems I generally have are: that they feel tight on the top part of my midfoot, and that the shoe feels either too small or too loose, and I have to use the heel lock to compensate. Even without using the heel lock for the Mach 5, the shoe doesn't feel loose.

These are just as amazing as the mach 4s and those were perfect. Light, responsive, not too cushy. Perfect right out of the box. The new tongue design is super comfy and cuts down on some pressure around the top of my foot. I got the orange ones and they are bright and fun! Simply love these shoes!
