I've tried many of Hoka's shoes (and many otherbrands). The Mach 5 is my all time favorite. I'm 5'10" and 235lbs (48 yr old male) with bilateral knee osteoarthritis and a few knee injuries from submission grappling and BJJ over the years (which I recently retired from to focus on running and general health and fitness). Although I'm only running 12 to 20 miles per week, these shoes have improved my runs to included reduced knee discomfort. I highly recommend!!!

Nice wide width, plenty of toe box room, very comfortable and supportive.

Unlike any other shoe I have tried on. To be fair, I dont buy many running shoes. Last pair I bought was 4 years ago. Glad I went this route. I only run 2-4 miles to stay in good cardio shape for soccer and life in general.

I was a little hesitant buying these shoes because of certain reviews I saw on them but I'm glad I went through with it, these are hands down my new favorite running shoes. I feel like I'm flying with these bad boys on

I am a professional Martial Arts Instructor, and we practice realistic self defense, so we train with shoes on! My shoes are purchased based on fit, heel padding, arch support, quickness to respond, traction and lightness. These shoes, like all Hoka shoes that I have purchased, are simply amazing! I have recommended them to my students! Most will not pay what these shoes cost, but that is their loss! Cheap shoes lead to bad feet, and feet are everything to a martial artist, especially Instructors! I have about seven pair of Hoka shoes right now, and definitely see more in my future. Thank you for producing amazing shoes!

I'm loving my Hokas Mach5, running has been a complete 180 for me They fit just right, the runs are comfortable, and they actually make you want to keep pushing and get that extra mile in. I could not be anymore HAPPY!! Thank You.

I had a pair of Mach 4's for running and loved them so much that I decided I was going go get a pair for my everyday shoe. I was on the website and choose the Mach 5...it must better than the 4, right? Surprisingly it was even better. I wear these everyday all day and they are extremely comfortable for my feet. U would highly recommend this shoe if you like the Mach 4.

I use it for powerwalk. Very comfortable. I also where in other settings. I wish the Mach 5 come in more solid colors.

I'm thrilled with my purchase. Amazing support, they look great, and the best cushion I have ever felt in a shoe.

My splits on my 10mile runs are down by roughly 10 secs a mile. My recovery from these runs are far better than what I was experiencing with my Nike Pegasus. The colors are dope and the lacing system has not opened on me once! My only struggle is steering away from them on my strength training days because they are so comfy.

I use the product for CrossFit when we have a wod more based around running. I also use them sometimes for casual walk around shoes. Very comfortable

These shoes are light and super comfortable. They are an absolute joy to run in.

As I age the Hoka cushion and response are helpful on training runs.

Been running more than I ever have and had to step up the running shoes. Great choice so far. Light, comfortable, fit true to size. See this being my first of many pairs of Hokas.

I bought them because love cushioning on those. I use them for training and also in races. The only bad thing is that I bought them comparing the size against the Bondi X and unfortunately it is not the same size, the Mach 5 are really great with cushioning and stability but the size failed. It does not mean that I won't use them but, make sure all sizes match in different Hoka version.

Lightweight, soft and very comfortable. great all around shoe and also use as a Soccer and LAX Official. Plus a great shoe to run in.
