I have been wearing Hokas for the last 4 years. After a hip injury I promised I would change my shoes every 6 months. I am not a runner. I am on my feet all day as a chiropractor. I have found Hokas to be the best for me standing all day. As for the Mach 5s I think they are fine. Very light and breathable. After wearing them for a week now I think I prefer my previous pair, Gaviota 4. I like the Mach 5 and maybe over time they will move up on my list.

This shoes are very light weight. They are possibly the lightest shoes that I own. The color is very nice. I have received compliments when wearing this shoes. These shoes do run small. I ordered a larger size and I am so glad that I did. I would say to buy a size or 2 larger because the shoes run small and narrow. I would buy another pair.

I use them for everday walking, running but mainly fo rthe comfort.

I use this shoe to do fast short runs. I love the firm yet soft feel to it. I don't like that it doesn't have real rubber traction on the bottom. I should have read more about the shoe. It's hard to tell now because I just bought them, but I'm worried the bottom of the shoe will wear thin easily, since it's only a foam bottom.

These shoes are amazing! I took them for a 5k run and I felt like I was flying! They are so soft, light and comfortable! Great shoe for running! Especially races! Now, I haven't taken them for a long run so I hope I have the same experience. I gave it a 4 because there's always that little improvement.

Probably it is a personal feeling, but my lower body is still getting used to the HOKAS, so at first I felt a pain in the shins and calfs. Other than that I'm running every two days more than two miles and becoming stronger. I recommend to buy them and try them for more time before saying no.

When I put them on my feet sing.

I was split between the Mach 5 and the Nike Pegasus 40. Being a previous owner of the Pegasus 39, I found this Mach 5 better because not only did it provide the excellent cushion feel that I expected from this class, but it also feels much lighter than its competitors. Im only about 10k into breaking them in, but so far im very happy with my purchase.

I have several pairs of Hoka's but my last pair I received. This pair of shoes are uncomfortable. I'm not sure if it's not a true size 13 and the shoes very narrow.

I like how the shoe looks, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 starts for feel.

I wear a size 8 1/2 in Nike but one of my shoes fit a little snug on top could be me but I love the feel and look will buy more

I bought this shoe because I wanted a light shoe with a comfortable fit to train/weight lift with a cushy sole. I've been able to execute jumping and other fitness activities with no pain on the sole of my foot. I will definitely be a long time customer going forward.

I trained with this shoe last year and loved the speed as I always felt fast with this shoe (I would consider myself a slow runner 9:30-9:40 miles) regardless of the miles logged. I recently got a second pair and am enjoying my runs. The one thing that would make this shoe perfect is more traction as living in Illinois with crazy swings in the weather I tend to more far more cautiously when wet because of the lack of traction. I love this shoe and will recommend to anyone looking for a light, comfortable, fast shoe that fits right into your running routine.

Walking and cross training.

This pair fits tighter than my previous Mach5 pair.

Got the wide version and even with my caveman feet they feel very comfortable.

I use this mach 5 for cross fit. It is a great shoe but toe box is a little narrow for me.

This shoe is very comfortable. good for my long runs. The soles wear out too quickly.
