I love these shoes, however I am a bigger guy and after 60 miles the soles are getting shaved flat. If there was just a little bit of rubber on the bottoms these would be perfect! Also, please add more colors in wide!

I was so nervous to begin using these shoes for my marathon training because of breaking them in. They never felt like they had to be broken in; comfortable from the moment I slipped them on.

Great for my orthotics

Nice and light shoes. They are slightly bulky especially towards the heel but they are Hoka's. Great for training and daily runners. Wide is great even tough I don't use wide. But I recommend them for a better base and toes should splay out. Laces are thin but work great and are comfortable. Tongue is also thin but also comfortable and no issues while running. Not sure how I feel about the rubberized EVA. I have another pair who the EVA outer soul. The traction is not as good as the other Hoka's shoes but I only buy trail shoes. The EVA seems to slip on wet smooth surfaces and wear out faster than other outer souls. Still recommend them. Great for walkers.

After decades of running in Nikes one of my granddaughters told me I needed to try HOKA. Ordered a pair online and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and feel very light. They are now my go to running shoe.

I absolutely love my Hoka Mach 5's. I have been running in the bondi 7's but wanted something that I could pickup the pace with and, the Mach 5's did just that. I am a heavier runner with wide feet. I also have almost no cartilage in my knee (2 ACL replacements on the same knee). The amount of cushion along with the reaction of the shoe were perfect for me. I am currently training for two 70.3's. I wanted to get a carbon shoe but none come in a wide.

Awesome shoes. The new midsole is awesome. Super versatile as you can use these for tempo runs, mid to long runs, and even just getting in base mileage. They do feel a touch long so you may want to size down 1/2 size possibly. Would highly recommend!

Love the feel of this shoe. It's responsive yet soft at the same time. Very happy with the upgrades from the last iteration.

Used primarily for daily walking and all day wear, although I do switch between different Hoka's that I own. I am very pleased with all of my Hoka purchases.

I had heard so about Hokas and went with my son to shop for them. I walked away thrilled with experience and with the shoes I purchased.

My go to jogging sneakers. I have sensitive feet and the HOKA IS THE REMEDY TO THAT! I buy too many shoes hopping o can wear them more than once only to give most of them away. The HOKA ARE A MUSTHAVE/ KEEPER. Super cushioning, supportive,cooling, and comfortable. I was skeptical because of the price but I'm so glade I made the purchase. There are ways inwhich you can make payments while having your products sent to you right away. I'm team HOKA ON THIS ONE! THANKS. AWESOME PRODUCT!

The Mach 5 is the best running shoe I've ever worn. Sizing is spot on, comfort is unmatched, they are light but still supportive and bouncy at the same time. Would order again!

I really liked the Mach 4 for as long as it lasted. The soft midsole layer complemented the firmer outsole nicely and made picking up the pace easy. This one is even better. The profly + layer is softer and bouncier. There is definitely more snap on toe-off after a nice cushioned landing and smooth roll through. I took them for 10 miles out of the box - 3 easy, 4 @ marathon pace, and 3 easy - and my legs felt great after.

This was my first HOKA purchase and I am pleasantly surprised how great these shoes are. I am a daily runner and these have been simply perfect. I have since bought other colors to add to the collection. Highly recommended.

Smooth riders for sure!

Being a heavier guy with a flat/wide foot, means I struggle with shoes, and comfort in them. So I had to hunt for the perfect fit and feel. Where do I begin! I tried on 6 different pairs and these hit the mark. If walking on a cloud had a feel, these are it. A sole that doesnt allow the foot to fall off the sides, and allows the foot to form perfectly. I couldnt feel a single point of pressure on the bottom of my foot, to where I instantly felt the positive impact on my ankle motion and knee feel. Coming from a guy who wheres nothing but Nike, Ive now found a shoe that I have no problem with.

The looks, fit and performance are an upgrade from the Mach 4. However, I think the lace and tongue use is not as friendly. loosening up the laces from the tongue are "stickier" and not as easy to use. Overall nice improvements especially the looks.

Honestly I felt underwhelmed when seeing the mach 5 for the first time. I've been running in the mach 4's for about 8 months now and totally loved it. Couldn't imagine the shoe getting much better than the 4, except for possibly a grippier outsole on the bottom that holds up better to high mileage or trails, but it is a quick road shoe so what can you complain about. The profly+ foam added on a nice step up in cushion to the shoe, and it responded a little more snappy than the 4. A little stiffer of a rocker launches and responds to power, and leaves the shoe with a great overall feeling. They also changed the tongue to my liking, and made it more form fitting. The tongue on the 4 tended to slide down and get bunched up from time to time. Overall, they kept the benefits of the mach 4 while still upgrading the shoe in a few small ways, just giving it a little step up. Love it.

These are so comfortable right out of the box. I do a lot of walking/running around.

Best running shoe I've ever owned. It's fast, light and the fit is perfect.
