Walking and running

My feet are more on the flatter side but these fit so neutral and comfortable they felt amazing right out the box. Light, responsive, help with running fast but also feel great on long slower runs. They absorb impact so we'll and I don't feel it translate to my shins or legs like other brands. Use the size guide though I wear 10 sometimes 10.5 in other brands but the size tool here helped me get what I needed (9.5) for Hoka brand shoes.

As a 72-year-old runner, I look for the best cushioning available in a shoe. Hoka stands tall above all other manufacturers. The shoe fits perfectly and did not require any breaking in. Love it!

Not as stiff as the Mach 4. Overall great shoe. Currently wearing as an everyday shoe.

I had bought Hoka shoes at our local store. I wore the shoes for a while and realized my feet were wider because of bunions, and the shoes were too tight. The purchase was beyond the store's 30 day return. They recommended contacting HOKA shoes directly. I sent the shoes back, and they credited me the purchase price. I used the credit to purchase extra wide shoes. Hi am very happy with the new shoes and very happy with the service from HOKA shoes.

Not only they look great but are very comfy; the bouncing is fantastic and it holds the feet nicely without side pressure

I personally have been critical of Hokas shoes in the past. I didn't like the overall stability of the models I had previously tried. I also did not like the soft feel of their daily trainers. On top of that, I'm a big fan of the Saucony Endorphin series and did not want to switch. All that said, while searching for new Endorphins, there were no stores that had those shoes in my size, so I was talked into trying the Mach 5s. From the moment I put them on, I fell in love. My first run was very light and slow just to feel them out and I was shocked at the stability, weight, and comfort. Since then, I've increased my distance and added some tempo in to my training runs. These shoes did NOT disappoint! I'm a firm believer and can't wait to keep running in them. Great shoe!

Absolutely love this shoe. First time getting the Wide version of a Hoka running shoe, and it fits perfectly. I'm really happy with these and excited to put in a lot of miles.

I really liked the Mach 4's and was super nervous when these came out. So much so I bought 3 pairs of the Mach 4's on clearance. Turns out I didn't need them, I have to say these are probably the best shoes (for me anyway) that Hoka has made. Great fit, great spring, great comfort.

I have been a nike fan boy for a bit but their offering after the original pegasus turbo are just not it. Ive been running in the normal newest pegasus. Its not fun to run in. Its not light feeling, its not fast feeling, and i got some foot pain. I bought the hoka mach 5 to give them a shot not expecting much, kinda not wanting to like em. Took them for a run and they feel amazing. Super light, easy to pick up the pace, easy to slow down a but and take it easy. All around perfect. It made the the run fun. They are no pegasus turbos but im beginning to have a new favorite shoe. Hoka keep it going this is a winner shoe l. I hope next yeat when i need a new pair i still have this as an option. This is a great shoe

The Mach is my favorite of all HOKA models - light weight, not too bulky looking, and the 5 offers more cushion than the previous models (which I also love). I walk 6-7 miles per day and this shoe is my favorite!

My knees stopped hurting because of the Hoka's I wear.
