I bought these for my husband and he's been wearing them around the house saying, "I feel so cool in these sneakers". They also seem to be great for his training. Good support and fit well, comfortably.

These shoes are worth every penny! I am a swimmer who has learned to enjoy running, but I have terrible form. Consequently, I have always struggled with shin splints which has limited how far/often I can run. The Hoka Mach 5s are a game-changer. I am training for my first half marathon in these shoes, and I am at peak week with no signs of shin splints. I will be asking for another pair for my birthday because I am obsessed. Note: I am typically a size 11, but in these, I am a 10.5

The Mach 5 is a magical shoe that is cushioned enough to wear daily without causing wear and tear on your body, but still rides incredibly fast. This is the only shoe I've tried that has both of these traits. The shoe fit is great. The two shoe fit problems I generally have are: that they feel tight on the top part of my midfoot, and that the shoe feels either too small or too loose, and I have to use the heel lock to compensate. Even without using the heel lock for the Mach 5, the shoe doesn't feel loose.

These are my new go-to running shoes - the competitor brand I was using before left my feet feeling uncomfortable after long runs, but the Hokas are just on another level of comfort.

I wear these casually and while running. The Mach 5 is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. The midsole on my previous pair started to wear (externally) faster than I would like (probably from trail running). Nonetheless, I bought another pair and can't recommend the Mach 5 enough.

Use for lots of walking

I'm using these shoes for trail running. They have an excellent light feel and pretty good support. It is so rare to find a shoe offered in Wide that has good support like these do. I usually use motion control shoes but it is really nice to have an option that is lighter for some days.

I was using the Bondi 7 for the past year and loved the cushioning. I was about to buy another pair but chose the Mach 5 instead and very happy I did. From the very first run i took off and ran much faster. i also effortlessly increased my daily run time by almost double.

These are the best running shoes I've ever owned. I've had to wear inserts in other shoes I've worn. With these I no longer need any insert. I have no pain at all for the first time in years. These shoes are also super light. I will definitely be purchasing these again.

Fit a little tighter for my size I'd recommend maybe going up half a size.
