I honestly believe this is all because of the Pro Fly midsole in this shoe and hope they never change this. I do think this is one of the most comfortable shoes ever! My first purchase from Hoka consists of this shoe, but I did try 6 other Hoka shoes in a store. This shoe has the best squishy, bounce back feel under your foot that causes an energetic step. Instead of just cushion and energy dispersement, it pushes back up against your foot unlike anything else I have ever felt. The upper is thin, breathable, and hugs the foot perfectly in the right places. I took my wife shoe shopping a week later and after 8 shoes, she also chose the Mach 5. We only wore Brooks for the last few years. For a nurse working 12+ hour shifts this seems to be an exciting experience on the foot.

This is my first pair of Hokas and I love them.

Train for the marathon

I've been training for a half marathon and the Mach 5 has been very enjoyable. They're light and comfortable. My legs doesn't feel tired after each run. Being able to experience improvements on my running gets me excited each morning.

I use this shoe as an everyday trainer for long distance runs, time turns, and recovery runs and it is perfect for any type of run and it can handle almosg anything. This is most similar to the Clifton edge and you can't go wrong with it

Its perfect. Its like I didn't even feel it when I started running. I float like the clouds but still has that responsiveness when I do sprints. I would recommend this to all my friends and family who loves to run. This is the epitome of cardio. I'm a wide guy so I ordered the 9.5 W and it fit snuggly

Top-o-the-heap for me. I've had a bunch of shoes over the last 2yrs. - mostly reasonably light and lightly cushioned. Mach 5 is my go- to: over the Hyperion, kinvara, adios, Dynablast, and sl20 - in fact, I've donated most of those and I'm down to just the Mach and rincon3 for everyday. I use these just for running 30+ per wk., including light trails. I have well over 250 mi and they still make me smile. The profly is unique - and I've noticed others imitating. Bottom line: kudos and accolades only.

Resolved my arthritis pain in the bottom of my foot

I didn't know my feet could be so happy. I immediately bought another pair as well as a pair of thongs. Love them both!

I use the shoes for training & walking on treadmill

Fit my feet, good orthopedic support. I have collapsed arches and these help immensely

I use with all visits to my health club and can use in all areasexcept for pickle ball. Wouldn't recommend for court sports. Love the style - get lots of compliments. Some reviews said that the tongue doesn't stay up but I've experienced no challenges with that.

Lightweight. Looks good. Very comfortable with bounce. Has wide versions in non-generic colors. Use them for treadmill runs.

My 2nd pair of Mach 5 is just as comfortable as my 1st. I love the bright Hoka colors

I have been buying Hoka shoes for quite some time and love them. But I have never tried a pair on as comfortable as these. The build of the shoe initially makes you think it might be fragile. It's anything but that. If you have trouble with fit, these are for you. They are comfortable, durable, and still provide the support I'm looking for in a stability shoe.

These shoes make running fun again!
