I would like it a lot if it were wider. I ordered the largest width, but it is not wide enough for my right foot. This is surprising, because I have no problem with other brands that offer extra wide options. This was my first HOKA purchase and unfortunately I will not be able to order more because of the width problem, unless there is another model which is wider.

Why would anyone decide to lock the tongue down in the inside left of both shoes with an elastic band? The shoe doesn't lace well with both tongues not able to center. The worst design flaw I've ever seen. Paid way too much for a shoe that looks and feels ridiculous.

I love the way the shoe fits and that it comes in a 4E width. My only complaint is that the mesh part of the shoe appears navy blue in the light and not black.

I'm not sure what these guys are doing? I have a pair of the Bondi 7. These are a step down, definitely not an upgrade! The seven series feels amazing! All day everyday! This is a stripped down version. Internal padding is about half of the 7. Only has one strap attached to the tongue keeping it from sitting straight and comfortably on the front of the ankle.

I ordered and returned the first Bondi 8 for an exchange. The medial side of the tongue is attached to the shoe. Not a bad idea if it were not crooked. To even slightly straighten it, it pulls on the inside of my foot. The 2nd pair arrived very fast, but it's both shoes this time, and the right shoe is worse than the first pair. Great comfort as always, but they cannot be work like that. HOKA, please remedy this problem!! I'm so bummed.

I returned the sneakers some 10 days ago to be replaced by a regular width because the ones I received were much too wide… I am still waiting the replacement ones I hope to receive before I return to New York after my visit to Europe

Love all of the Hoka's I have purchased in the past but this is the first time the size (10.5) ran small. Slightly disappointed but I will buy Hoka's again in the hope that this was an isolated issue.

I ordered these expecting them to be just as comfortable if not more so than my Bondi 7. They don't even come close and the toebox is way wider! I love my Bondi 7 and Clifton 7!! I have seen other reviews about the Clifton 8 and Bondi 8 stating the same thing. Unfortunately, I had to return these.

Honestly these shoes may be good for people with big feet but for me. I wear a size 7. They made my feet look like a ducks foot. They are to wide in the toe area. When you get the ones with color they really stand out. I prefer the Bondi 7 over the Bondi 8. I am sending all three pairs back. The black shoe is the bondi & and the blue shoes is a bondi 8

Seems to be a good shoe so far but the rear grip loops keep ripping. I've never had them rip on my ASICS or Brooks.

I love Hokas, worn Hokas for years since discovering them at a runner's expo. I have developed a Morton's Neuroma (feels like walking on a wrinkle in my sock all the time) and require a wide toe box to avoid irritating it. I ordered a new WIDE pair of Hokas and was very excited to try them but I am sad to say while the overall shoe is wide the toe box narrows significantly and squishes my toes. I wish Hoka would redesign the toe box to allow for better splaying. I would never wear anything else !

Heel pull tab tore loose the first time I put them on. The other Hoka's have worked fine.
More durable sore would be helpful.

The Bondi 8 does not seem as "cushioney" as the Bondi 7. The support is ok but the walk is not as soft.

I ordered the same size as the Bondi 7 which I have worn for some time. The Bondi 8 is larger. I should have ordered a size down both in length and width.

I love the shoes for my knees. They are the only shoes that don't make my knees hurt. However, the bondi 8 makes that darn squeaking noise with every single step, it come from then space between the insole and sole. Maybe im being to picky but i cant stand the sound with every step.

I feel like I'm walking uphill. They seem heavier than my old Asics. Unfortunately, I bought these in town. Now I am ordering some Asics from Zappos.

I walk about 8-10 miles a week and the Bondi 7's were my first Hoka's. And they were great. It was like walking on air. I was looking forward to my new Bondi 8's but do not feel they are as soft. Don't get me wrong they are still nice, but I like the 7's better.

I really wanted to like these shoes but the width of these shoes is a poor match for my foot. I have flatter than average feet and typically wear a 2E and almost all 2E shoes fit me well. I ordered the Bondi 8 in a 2E and after running got blisters on both of my big toes and inside arch of my foot due to my foot rubbing on the edge of the cushion. I then ordered the 4E hoping they would be a better fit but they were not. The problem seems to be the width proportions. With the 4E the room in the toe box was better (almost acceptable) but the width around the mid foot (arch) was still extremely narrow, even more narrow than a non-wide shoe (and this was a 4E!). I have a flatter foot and found that my mid foot was over the side of platform (only held by the mesh) and, therefore, rubbing on the edge of the cushion. It's amazing how poor of a fit these shoes were. I think these only fit someone with either a very high arch or very narrow mid foot, even then you would probably need to go up in width. Hoka got the fit of these shoes really wrong and it's a huge disappointment.
They had a good amount of cushion though, I felt that they were softer than the Bondi 7s and I preferred the softer cushion of the 8 to the 7. The fit changed significantly between the 7 and the 8, I think the 7 were a better fit. Why did they change it? So disappointing.

I've watched a lot of videos about this Bondi 8 being the softest shoe ever, and now i can tell you a honest review considering I've been wearing them every other day for a month. Standing and short walks all day 9 hours each day working. I would swap this shoe back and forth to the Arahi 6
And honestly the Arahi felt better . So now im still searching for the most comfortable shoe AGAIN. These are ok Bondi8 but definitely not the hype that people say it is .
