Fit and size were ok. I like the hot color. But don’t like the way the bottom of the sole extends on both sides of the shoe. It looks dumb and seems to serve no purpose.

As always Hoka has the best running shoes but the right shoe has a weird divot in the bottom under my foot. Perhaps a quality control issue. Otherwise phenomenal shoes.

I have been Hoka trail shoes for years..size 12...all of a sudden every model in size 12 is too tight and too short..something has changed..

I've owned Bondi 7's for 6 months and love them. I'm a relatively fit 66 year old male and use these shoes for a 3 mile daily walk and casual use. I tried the Bondi 8 and was disappointed. I'm sure this is a great shoe but it doesn't have the same "ride" as the 7. It doesn't have same soft cushion, seems a bit firmer. I'll be sticking with the Bondi 7. A side note for Hoka. The laces on the Bondi 8 are shorter and more flimsy then the Bondi 7. Feels like a downgrade.

The heel is cut short on the outer sole, and causes you to walk un-naturally, and puts strain on the back of your knee. It also sounds like a horse clopping down the street because of that design.

I own 5 pairs of Bondi6 and 7s. My use is moderate walking. Great cushioning for knees. However, the black rubber tread on the soles have come partially unglued on 2 pair. Their must be better glue available.

These are really comfy and provide great protection, but I probably picked something too soft. The net result - I am generally less sore but I can't run as far or as fast - my typical pace is ~7.45, but with these I slow to about 8.30. I'm exaggerating here, but It feels like running in sand. I also have a pair of Clifton's that are more responsive - I can run much further/faster in those, but they don't provide the same level of comfort / protection.

I don't like that the tong of the shoe is connected on one side and the insert comes up into the arch of the shoe. But you still get the extra bounce from the bottom layers. I would not buy This shoe again but I will try something different.

I purchased for the extra wide width and the stabilizing sole. What with orthopedic problems these just don't do it for me. The raised toe is what creates the problem for me.

Unfortunately these didn't fit me well. The midsole was too narrow and dug into the arch of my foot. I usually wear a 2e width, which is what I ordered. The toe box had ample space, and the foam was comfortable. But I couldn't keep them.

Arch is too high. It's my fault for purchasing online without trying on shoes first.

They're okay, but when it's wet (like in the PNW now) n you go into a store you are going to be loud on certain floor types. There was one other person in this busy store who was squeaking as well & I noticed he was wearing, you guessed it, Hokas

I was pleased with the extra wide being available and enjoyed my previous pair of Hokas. However, I need a wide toe box, so my pinky toes were still pinched with this x-wide and I also felt some pressure on the side of my big toe when power walking. Although I like the cushioning on Hokas, the sole seemed exaggerated on this model, and my heel still felt somehow not cushioned enough. They just weren't for me, and I returned them for some Altras with wider toe boxes.
I'd also recommend:

I tries these because I had heard such good reviews about them, but to be honest, they are just "ok", to me.

I have owned and loved multiple pairs of Bondi 6 and 7’s but I am afraid the Bondi 8 is not as good. Yes, it wins the beauty contest over the previous versions as it is sleeker with better angles. But the reason you and I love Bondi is for pillowy-on-clouds softness and these new ones are much firmer. I am hoping they soften over time but they just don’t have the out of the box plushness. Perhaps some runners will appreciate a bit more response but I am disappointed.

Mostly walking and I wear ever day, I have Bondi 7's and I love them. Bondi 8's aren't as comfortable and the sole is to wide. They feel floppy. Actually when driving you have to be careful when braking the sole is wide will catch part of the accelerator. The material on top of the toe are deformed and squeezing when you walk.

I had high hopes for these sneakers. They were not as comfortable as I hoped - too rigid.

These fit nothing like the previous Bondi 6 and other Bondi I have ordered. Very tight on arches. Wish these could be consistent.

Started squeaking when I walk 32 days after I purchased. Really surprised because Hoka has always been great shoes. Hopefully just a bad pair.

The shoes were way to tight in comparison to the Hoka Marahi 6 I purchased at a shoe store. I am trying to stretch them out with a shoe tree. I dont like bending down and I cant just slip these shoes on. I am not sure why the difference in width between the shoes when both are 11.5 2E
