I am a nike and adidas guy. But I read how these were all the rage in providing ultimate comfort and better support/cushioning, so I decided to venture out my typical brand. Turns out, nothing really special. No different than any other running sneakers.

Extract wide feels to small. I had to go up to a 13 for a bigger tow box.

I'm sticking with the Bondi 7 until they get better colors for Bondi 8. They ought to call this year's color scheme "Toxic Melted Crayon". I say this as someone who has loyally bought several pairs of each generation going back many years. Also - some of us actually like the color green. How about showing us some love as well.

Considered not wearing because shoes began squeaking a few weeks after receiving. If they weren't so comfortable I'd rate them a 2.

Loads of cushioning which I need however, not enough support and felt like I was going to twist my ankle at any moment. So, I decided to sacrifice some cushioning for support until backordered pair of plush cushioning with stable support pair is restocked. Having a 15Wide makes it difficult to find "the perfect match" in stock.

The shoes that I purchased are fantastic. They look wonderful and feel incredible. The big issue I had was with getting the shoes. I ordered them online on the 13th of December. As of the 23rd, there were no shoes and the website had contradictory information regarding the shipping. I called and the representative said that they hadn't been shipped yet and I had to wait until after XMAS to call for my refund. I called after XMAS and spoke with another representative who stated that they couldn't ship the shoes due to the error with the label being created and that I would receive the refund prior to the 9th of January. Because I really liked the shoes, I ordered another pair with that representative over the phone. I received the shoes right after the 1st of January. Then a couple of days later I received a second pair. Needless to say I am still awaiting the refund and now I have 2 pairs of the same shoes. I called regarding the return and have been told that I have to pay to mail in the 2nd pair before receiving my refund; no disrespect, however, I am still awaiting the refund that was supposed to happen nearly a month ago. I don't know if I trust the company to get it right after receiving the shoes that I mail in. This will probably the last pair of Hokas that I will buy. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

Fit and comfort is very good as expected, but the tongues are sewn strangely. When pulling the tongues up tight, they deflect inward, towards the other foot. Not really uncomfortable, but seems like a sewing flaw. Same in both shoes

Family not happy with my purchase although they standby Hoka products. They feel sneakers look huge on my feet which they do.. now calling them elephant sneakers. I do wear a size 11 4e wide but I have other brands the same size which don't look as huge on my feet.

I've purchased Hokas over the years for their comfort. This new shoe is actually causing foot pain because of the lack of padding. I'm going to have to use an insert to make them bearable. I miss my old Hokas.

The cushion of the shoe felt great, but the challenge was in the rest of the fit (for me). I tried both regular & wide versions, but neither fit. The regular width was too tight on my toes & forefoot, yet the wide had too much heel movement. I tried going up a size (for the regular width) & down a size (for the wide), yet I still ended up with lots of hot spots on my right foot. Sadly I had to return (and will go back to Altras which have a wider forefoot, if not the same cushion as these shoes).

This is my 3rd pair of bondi's by hoka and they are by far the least comfortable out of the box. My previous 2 pair were like walking on a cloud of marshmallows but these lacked that plush cushioned feel. Maybe I got a bad pair or maybe they just aren't quite the same as previous generations. I will keep wearing them to see if maybe there is a break in period with these, I really hope so because I recommend hoka's to everyone I meet and I don't feel like I can anymore.

The Bondi 8 base is great. But the Bondi 7 tops are constructed much better than the Bondi 8. Looks like in effort to get lighter you used different top material which is not as durable as the 7 tops. In my opinion HOKA is constructed superior to the other standard running brands NIKE, New Balance and Adidas. Those brands sold out years ago on their quality for cheaper materials. Don't lower the quality as it put HOKA on the map. Rather see you raise the price than get better margins with inferior materials.

For my husband, these are for every day wear. He has foot/leg problems, due to diabetes and he needs great shoes. These fit the bill!

Loved the way they looked and the padding, but the arch was a little high and made my feet sore. I read a couple of reviews and discovered that was not uncommon. I exchanged them for the Bondi 7. I think they are better for running than an all around-on-your-feet-all-day shoe.

The bondi 8 are not as comfortable as the Bondi 7. I've definitely broken them in, and my feet still hurt. I will have to shelve these.

I've been buying Hokas for a dozen years. Historically, I end up buying 1/2 size larger than my regular shoes, because these fit fairly narrow. This time, however, I bought my correct size and the width felt tight. I was recovering from surgery, so all I could do was walk for a few months and these shoes were comfortable enough. However, as I strengthened back to running, the shoes were definitely too narrow--causing blisters on my in-soles. So, I think the size is true, but the width is too narrow. Hokas always provide great arch support and cushioning for my knees on those long winter runs. Too bad about the blisters from the tight shoes, but nothing that a little gauze, liquid skin and neosporin can't fix.

I can feel the support, and comfort that eventually I will enjoy. The insole seems to very unforgiving currently. I primarily wear my Sketchers during work(healthcare), and the Hoka's for 'show'. I believe the shoes will eventually be comfortable all day.
