Great shoe comfortable, but very narrow. I didn't receive a return label or I would've returned these shoes for a different size. I couldn't get in touch with anyone at customer service, so I kept them thinking they would stretch out in the tight places. I love the comfort of this shoe yes I would buy them again, after trying them on in a store. But yes these shoes are very comfortable I would love to try some that are the perfect width I couldn't imagine the comfort.

The heal area is not padded well like previous bondis. The Bondi 6 was my favorite. These 8 are not near the comfort level. I don't expect these to last.

I wanted to like these shoes because they look nice and seem durable for a walking/running shoe. However, they do not provide neutral support as advertised. They are arch torture devices. Like most walking/running shoes, they have "arch support", which means they will hurt your arch if you have low arches. They are also more narrow through the arch area than most regular-sized shoes, so your foot can't avoid the "arch support" when you walk by simply favoring the outer edge of the shoe away from the arch support.

Use it working out, walking etc. I like the wide fit however I should have purchased a 1/2 size smaller.

I wanted to get something very plush to spend a week at Disneyland so I went with the Bondi 8's. They are supposed to be one of the most plush Hoka's you can get, what nobody talks about is that for some reason these have enormous arch supports in them that just killed my feet. They are nice shoes, feel very comfy but with that arch support its a bad combination of very soft but like sticking a rock under your arch. I love Hoka's but this was not as expected or published.

These shoes are nice that you can get a 4E but they are not plush. The footbed is hard as wood floors.
My Altra is a lot more cushion in the foot bed. I really had high hopes for this shoe but I was disappointed.
You need to take the word plush out of the description since it is misleading.

The Bondi 8 were too narrow in the heel, made my heel feel sore. And heel felt too high.

i did not know the the top of the shoe was a net type material, made for summer weather, not made for year around weather

I like the cushioned walk with these shoes but they have a couple of drawbacks. For one, the tongue is attached along one side so that it won't center on my foot. Apparently, my foot is also taller that the design allows for so the shoes are always tight.

Soft foot fall very comfortable. I expected more lateral stability to keep from rolling ankles, especially with such a wide base. Took some getting used to.

Shoes looked great and fit fine. But they hurt my feet bad after a couple of hours of wearing. Probably an arch problem.

I am disappointed in this shoe. Ive been running in he Bondi 7 for 280 miles and I bought the Bondi 8thinking this would be a better shoe. I read the review and a few people were saying the Bondi 7 are better, boy where they right! what did yall do to this shoe??
I started running in this and right away, I did not feel the cushion that much, and the arch is narrow. I ordered the brand "Saucony" maybe this will be a better running shoe. The Bondi 7 is a WAY better running shoe.

The in sole seems to pull away from the side when I walk and I can feel it scratch my foot. Besides that they feel really good so far. I replace my shoes every year so once I have had these a year I'll see if I want to buy more in the future.

The soles of the shoe are very wide in comparison to the width of the foot bed, and this made them feel unnatural when walking. They are very light and seemingly well made, but they don't fit my feet properly.

Unfortunately, I returned these shoes. They look great. No problem with the fit and they were pretty comfortable. The thing I didn't like was the sole seemed to be over an inch thick. I felt like I was wearing platform shoes! That is awkward with my being 6'2". Maybe someone shorter would appreciate that extra height.

I ordered extra wide but weirdly, the arch area of the shoe is extremely narrow. The arch of my foot was sitting on the edge of my shoe poking into my arch. Yet, I had a nice wide toe box area. That's a very strange design. I had to return them.

My first pair of Hoka's were the Bondi 6's. I had been running in Brooks and was experiencing severe knee pain. After switching to Hoka's the problem went away. I've had various other styles of Hoka's in the past couple of years but nothing has matched the Bondi 6. Not the Bondi 7 and definitely not the Bondi 8. It's like they keep getting worse. That's such a shame because to me there was nothing to improve upon. It was already a great shoe. The 7's were better than the 8's but the 8's are one of the worst running shoes I've ever owned and I don't say that lightly since I've been recommending Hoka's to everyone over the past couple of years. I wouldn't recommend the 8 as a running shoe for anyone. They feel clunky and it's uncomfortable on the sides of your feet. My legs get so tired running in these and I've put them to the side for casual wear only and have switched to another brand entirely. Please stop tweaking things that were already good to begin with. You end up with a product that is negatively impacted and customers who move on to a better shoe.

These are extremely narrow. The length is mostly accurate, although if you are in between sizes I would say size up. But for reference I compared the insole to my Bondi 6’s from a couple years ago which are a D width and the width is exactly the same as these which I purchased in a 4E width (which should be 2 widths bigger). That one felt too narrow for me which is why I got the XWide for these. I don’t understand why they pretend to offer different widths if they’re not actually wider. Weirdly the bottom of the shoe flares out at the forefoot to give an illusion of width that isn’t reflected in the sole. And it cuts in dramatically at the midfoot. It’s a no for me but if you have narrow feet these would work well because aside from the edges cutting into the sides of my feet I feel like they would have been comfortable

I received my 1st pair in October, they have an annoying squeak with every step. I sent them back to be exchanged and received a new pair. Same thing, they have a loud annoying squeak with every step taken. Sending them back in exchange for a different model. The shoe was comfortable, unfortunately unwearable due to the sounds

Nice improvement with the upper material, tongue and wider base compared to the Bondi 7. However, this shoe cushion is considerably more firm than the Bondi 7; I much prefer the 7's cushion due to being on feet so much. Thus, the 8's cushion is a step backwards. Make the next version of the Bondi with the cushion of the 7 and it will be the perfect shoe.
