Not impressed with the comfort of my Hokas, they have created foot soreness I've not had in other shoes.

Love this shoe, but the tongue has wires or seams running through it that dug into the top of my foot causing it to scab over. If the fix this I'm a customer for life. I returned this product.

I've had many pairs of these shoes so I like them but won't continue to purchase. The tongue is sewed into the side of the shoe and I don't like it. I probably should have returned them.

I'll give them a 3 star review, I find the bondi 7's to be more comfortable than these 8's.

For a shoe that's good for running and walking my flat feet still hurt. Even with a substitute insole

I run/walk 5K every morning with my dog on a combination of roads and paved trails. My Bondi 7s served me very well with the exception that the inside heel padding wore out in 2 months on both shoes, and ended up giving me some serious heel blisters. I used duct tape to patch them up and chalked it up to a random flaw. Otherwise the shoes are terrific.
I purchased this new pair of Bondi 8s and lo and behold, 2 months into use and I have the same exact failure in the heel padding on both shoes. Clearly a design flaw and A bit frustrating for such high-end product. Maybe they should come with duct tape.

I bought a new pair of Biondi 8 sneakers after buying about 6 previously of Biondi 7. The Biondi 8 has a nice feel but if you have a narrow foot the 8s are too wide in the front. The 7 had a sleek nice look besides being comfortable. Even the front of the 8 has too much material resulting in it looking gathered at times. As a result, I keep searching for 7s when possible.
Why was this front changed so much is a mystery! Who knows maybe I will try another pair of 8s but now looking for other brands which is disappointing.

The overall build of the shoe was great and i really think these shoes might be great for someone with feet suited for this type of style. Unfortunately for me, my feet were not at all made to run in these beauties. The width of the forefoot was incredibly wide almost to the point that i could fully splay my toes within the toe box. This led to an incredible amount of friction to be created around my big toes causing giant juicy blisters to form along the interior of my feet. :(

Return/Exchange policy - 5 Stars, Quality control - 2 Star, Comparison to Bondi 7 - 2 Stars.
My first pair of Bondi 8's arrived with the entire right set of shoelaces off center from the shoe. Had to return. I was disappointed in the shoes. Toe box was wide but unfortunately the midfoot was narrow. The Bondi 7s were much wider in the midfoot and much more comfortable for ppl like me with huge wide feet. I still love my Hokas but I hope in the future you give more options with 4E sizing maybe in the Gaviotas?? and hopefully when the Bondi 9s come out, you can bring back the wide midfoot. Thank you.

I know the Gaviota claims ultimate cushioning ( it doesn't have this ) and stability ( it does ) , but adding a little more stability to the bondi would make it the perfect shoe. A little wobbly and too mushy.

Everyday walking. Prefer Bondi 6. This shoe does not as much cushion as 6.

I've run Ironmans in the Rincon. Trained in the Clifton edge and Clifton's and loved them all. Even picked up a Mock 5. I was hoping the Bondis would give me a little extra padding for sidewalk runs but after about 50 miles they are still as stiff as the day I put them on. Very disappointed.

there are some pretty colors for the women's shoe however a lot of those pretty purples and blues are only available in a regular fit. there needs to be more pretty colors in a wide. a lot of people have jobs standing and no matter what arches are placed inside your feet still can collapse and make them wider. if you want a bigger audience you need to make women's shoes in prettier colors and make them available in wide. I couldn't find a pretty color and wide and went to the men's shoes thinking they might be a little bit more wide for my toes but they weren't, so the first pair I had to send back. I'm just disappointed in a lack of options and colors for people with wider feet. I'm also disappointed that there are not as many shoes that are stable and plush. there are a lot of people who stand for a living on concrete and extra support and comfort is needed.

I gave the Bondi 8 a 4 star rating because I’m spoiled by the Bondi 7. The style was good but I found them to be too short and very wide looking. I normally wear a women’s 12 in athletic shoes. Hoka does NOT make women’s 12 so I order men’s 10.5. I indicated no arch support because I’m used to wearing my orthotic and the Hoka insole is really flimsy.

I am using the Bondi 8 for the extra cushioning at work. However, ASICS gel Nimbus is far superior when it comes to cushioning. I would only recommend the Bondi if you need assistance with a compensatory gait pattern due to the deep heel.

Nice, but little support!! Very slipper like. No upper shoe support. Haven't worn them anywhere but the kitchen. Trying to see if sole inserts will help.

Is the shoe good, yes. But definitely a step down from the 7s. Glue is visible and the treads are wearing VERY quickly. I expected more.

These appear to be great shoes, however, one would think as insanely wide looking as they appear that they would have a decent toe box. The toe box is disproportionately narrow and makes for less room than is needed to replace the 00 arch support insoles. Would recommend to a friend if the friend had narrow feet with low arches.

They have a huge midsole but I didn't think they were all that soft while standing. I could feel sinking into them but it wasn't a comfortable feeling. The arch support pressed a little too much against my arches and the heel area pressed against the sides so a little tight or maybe it was the insole pressing against my heel as I sunk. They feel great while running though, I tend to land mid-foot/forefoot and they did feel very plush but the weight... Even for recovery runs and walking they felt too heavy. They are also very bulky which made driving a bit of a challenge. I have a pair of Mach 4 and I just love those shoes. Unfortunately after trying these and the Clifton 9 the Machs are the only ones that have worked for me. I've heard the Rincons are pretty good for tempo workouts so I may give those a try later but I wanted something for recovery and easy runs. I'll have to keep looking.

I was wearing the Bondi 7 and absolutely loved loved them. I actually wore them out. My very favorite shoe ever. Because they aren't made anymore, I ordered the Bondi 8 and I am so disappointed. These are no way close to what I was wearing. They hurt the inside bottom of my feet as well as the soles of my feet. I've tried to wear them to see if I could get used to them, but they are just awful. I found a Bondi 7 in my size online in a color I really don't want but it was the only color available in my size. I will happily wear them for the comfort!! Please bring back the Bondi 7!
Thank you!!
They actually feel too big in the toe section and too small near bottom of ankle!
