They're okay. The insole has a sharp edge to it that may rub away in time and they are hot as s%#t in the summer as they have no ventilation and I mean NONE!. At the end of my run my feet were in pools of sweat. Lot's of hype on these, so maybe I got a bum pair.

I have been wearing Bondi 7's at work. They are good. But didn't like the new Bondi 8. They were not as comfortable. Narrow fit. I started wearing this line with the Bondi 6. Which were the most comfortable. Each newer model of the Bondi line has gotten less comfortable. Please return to that level of cushioned shoe. Bondi 6 was the reason that I keep buying your shoes. Currently wearing my third pair. A Bondi 7after returning the 8's. Your customer service is great. Much appreciated.

The shoes are more 'blockish", not as flexible. They do not fit as good as the 7's and after almost a month still squeak when I walk. Not horrible but not as comfortable and light feeling as the 7's, the cushioning feels off center and not as bouncy as the 7's. They are ok but certainly a step back from the pervious version.

Why is it every time I like a Hoka running shoe one year, the next year's model has a narrower toebox? This isn't the first time. It's one thing more and more people need or are realizing is better for their feet. Had to return. Neuromas thrive on squeezed toes.

Bondi 8 men's runs small I had to order a half size larger. I had the same issue as another reviewer with the gusset that is only on one side (left) of the tongue. The tongue pulls to the left and is difficult to straighten out. Why only one gusset ? Why any gusset at all ? Did not have this issue with the Bondi 7. Choice of colors is just ok. I wish there were better more neutral color combinations (which doesn't mean black and white).

Much narrower than previous models. I bought the 4E. Was pinching my heels, and created hot spots in my heels and on outer toes

Bought these for running but had to wait for extra wide coming out this year. Expected extra wide to be the same as other shoe companies but it was smaller. Otherwise, this shoe lighter with great bounce into the forefoot's push off!

I only bought them because they came in other colors I wear A12 4E And all I get to choose from is black and Gray that's Terrible because I would buy more sneakers if there were more colors in my size and width available 12 4E Not sure why that's so difficult to do

I bought two pairs of the Bondi 8s, this pair directly from Hoka because of the color choice, and one pair from a local running store. I was looking forward to trying them out. This pair, while I like the cushion, does not seem to hold shape and provide support. My foot seems to slide to the outside. This does not happen with the other pair, which is light blue. I am wondering if this is the effect of the dyes on the material for this shoe, or maybe this particular pair was not made correctly. The light blue pair I like, seems to be a good upgrade over the Bondi 7, which was a good shoe itself.

Love the plush sole and looks. Hate the new tongue holder. Why add a tongue holder? If I wanted a tongue holder, I'd order the Clifton. Please get rid of it. I bought multiple pairs of the Bondi 6&7. Done with the 8.

I have Bondi 7 and love them. Reviews stated Bondi 8 was a lighter sneaker. I did not find this to be true. I felt like i had clown shoes on when wearing them around the house. My family commented on how big they looked. I will be ordering the Bondi 7 again
I'd also recommend:

They probably would be great if they didn't hit my arch wrong. The medial edge of each shoe rubs my arch.

This is a great cushioning shoe, but the toe box is too wide for my profession of driving! The distance between brake & accelerator catch the wide toe box sole.

I've previously owned 4 pair of Hoka, and this new Bondi 8 is by for the most uncomfortable pair. I owned two Bondi 6 and 2 Bondi X. My heal rubs on both feet and it is much more narrow. I've been trying to break these in for 2 weeks and they are still making my feet hurt.

I had a good run with the Bondi 7 and had hoped that the 8s would continue on with that run, but just not liking these 8s that much. I don't hate them, they just aren't wowing me. Of course, everyone is different, and this shoe might be the one for you, but I'll be on a quest again to find a Hoka or another brand that has a great cushioned feel, and doesn't feel like I'm wearing a brick. When you look at the shoe don't be fooled by the amount of cushion that it appears to have, because it's all just on the side for show and added extra weight for some dumb reason. I'll wear them until I hit that magic 300 miles and then swap them out.

I'm a size 9.5 in the Speedgoat, Rincon 3, and Bondi X. I ordered a size 9.5 in the Bondi 8. You expect the sizing to match across all a brand's models. Unfortunately, the Bondi 8 is too narrow and feels a little short as well. The cushion is extremely plush and comfortable. I want them to fit, so I'm off to order more sizes.
