Never softened - always felt like rocks on my feet.

Great shoes for comfort. The only issue I've had with the past 4 pair is the Heel material wears out quickly. Plastic insert digs into heels. Should definitely redesign the Heel support and Fabric.

The shoes are fine. I've been wearing Hoka for a while, but this model's shoe laces are really flimsy, and the threads frayed within a month and I had to buy new shoe laces. Zappos did give me a partial refund to purchase replacement shoe laces, though. So thumbs up to Zappos service.

Good quality

Got this shoe as I was attending a 5 day event that needs lot of standing/ walking. Was really hoping this shoe would give additional cushion. Unfortunately, the whole dry is quite narrow and was quite tight causing lot of inconvenience on very first day..

Excellent shoe , but shoebox is very tight which forced me to return. Back of the shoe is very narrow inner lining which makes it less durable in long run

The wide size looked very odd, with a bulbous shape around the middle and toes. It was so big in the front, I felt I was going to trip over the shoe on the other foot as I walked. Even so, it was too narrow for my foot.

Just not as comfortable as I need

Too small for my wide feet... the toe box needed to be at least a half size larger

I currently have a different Bondi 8 black sneaker with a white bottom where the size is 10 and the width is Wide. But this Hoka that I purchased with the same size and width is not width enough. therefore I am returning it.

Problem with width. Wider would have been better. Cannot wear for long periods of time. Shoots whole purpose in the foot!

Fuit was too small; it was smaller than the previous pair I bought a year or so ago

I’m returning this item. A used pair of shoes were sent to me. The soles were dirty and they smelled like smoke. I had planned to give them as a gift, but I would never give used shoes as a gift. Do better Zappos.

Not wide enough.

Comfortable and true to size but they look like clown shoes on, even in a neutral color. Just not for me

Tight width

Shoe was not as comfortable or cushioned as I expected. For Hoka’s max cushioned shoe, I was expecting a a much softer midsole. Shoe feels very firm, and only slight softer than Arahi 7, which caught me by surprise.

I have been using the Mach Koka which are much softer, lighter and more comfortable. This Bondi model was stiff and clunky.

These were very narrow and did not feel like a 10.5 sized shoe. And for all the talk about how comfortable they are supposed to be they just weren't.

Great shoe but fell apart
