I only wear Hokas and I’ve tried several styles of runners and hikers. I like these low hikers for summer and less technical hiking. They are comfy as we can rely on Hokas to be but they have a firmer cushioning than most of my other styles. I’ve worn them twice so far with good results.

I can't count the number of Hoka sneakers I have. It's pretty much all I wear in size 9. This style runs a bit small, I will be ordering the next size up. They are super comfy. Can't wait to get the right fit.

I absolutely loved how they cushioned and grippy they felt on the trail when hiking and walking but Hoka's sizing recommendations were a bit off. Hoka recommended a size 8.5 after I measured my feet using their method as described, and I even after I added an extra 2mm for just to be safe, my toes were still impacting the front of the shoe. I would recommend ordering at least 1/2 size up from the Hoka sizing chart when purchasing

I bought these low hikers for a hiking trip to Italy this summer. I tried them out in the Davis Mountains of West Texas and they were great. Very comfortable and had good traction on loose terrain. I would recommend them.

You'll not be sneaking up on anyone in this squeaking shoe (nor even walk in a public hallway without heads turning).
I like the fit and feel.
This pair was a replacement from Hoka because the first pair I bought had a malfunction in the sole with a bit of it flapping open.

I love the sneaker however it's a bit smaller than I expected I need to exchange it for a 9 1/2. and noticed there are no sizes left in the shoe on your website. nor is there a store for me to make the change. it's very unfortunate

I loved these shoes when I received them. I was excited. But they were too small. I wear a 9 in the Clifton 9's. But my toes smashed up to the edge and my no show socks scrunched down under my heel as I walked just around my yard. I really need a pair of hiking shoes like these and I can't find them in stores because I really need to try before I buy. Returning these.

I wanted to like these, but the shape of the toe box cuts over as if I don't have a big toe! I sized up and it still cut into my big toe. I wear HOKA BONDI's without this problem. The Anacapa Breeze Mid just seems to have a strang toe box shape and so I have had to return it.

The Vibram sole has good traction for hiking, if not for that I would return them. This shoe runs narrow and small compared to Bondi 7 and Stinson 6 (I am a perfect 5.5 in both and never had any issues with multiple pairs of either style). I bought a 5.5 and exchanged them for a 6, and the fit is better but not great.

Unfortunately, the toe box is narrower, thinner and stiffer than desired. I have very narrow feet, but I cannot tolerate any pressure on the sides or top of my forefoot due to the tricky biomechanics of my feet. These shoes did not allow my toes to spread and there was not enough space above my forefoot, for me. Also, the ankle collar pushes the foot forward changing the fit. The ankle collar made for a very stable and comfortable ankle fit tho.

Great tread, interesting color though I don't like the pinkish sidewalls. Unfortunately, the toe box doesn't have enough height. The shoe does not fit like the Bondi. I suspect the heel cup with its extra thing which is btw very comfortable and stabilizing, likely pushes my foot forward making the toe box not fit.

I love the color of these shoes. I ordered them because my other pair of HOKAs are wearing, these where tight on the toes and the heel part was hard. I am returning for another style.

First I ordered a 9, returned for a 9.5. The length of 9.5 was great but the toe box was very uncomfortable, narrow. I’m usually between an 8.5 and 9 medium width. Nike I take a 9.5.
Thought these would be great in the cork for hiking in the canyon lands, but could not get past the uncomfortable toe box.
I'd also recommend:
I’m going to try the Altra Wild which is suppose to have a wide toe box.

I almost kept these, but decided that the color was too light for the purpose for which I wanted to use them. They also were slightly too wide in the arch and had a spot that rubbed on the outside of the right foot near the toes that was slightly annoying. I decided to give the dark blue version of these a try and discovered that they were slightly narrower which perfect and alleviated that spot that rubbed on the right foot. This style fit different in each color that I tried so I'm not sure what to make of that.
I'd also recommend:

This style has the cushion that I need, but tends to rub on the outer side of the right front foot. I'm also returning them because the color combination is not very appealing. How about color combinations that are more aesthetically coordinated in the future? I thought they might be more appealing than the picture, but sadly, they were not.

I have been wearing HOKA for a really long time. I have the slides, BONDIs, and Transports. Unfortunately this shoe just didn't do it for me. I did appreciate how lightweight they are, but I felt some pain in my toes after wearing them on a 5 mile easy/moderate hike. I just don't see myself wearing them again... I really liked the green color that I chose, but did not love the laces. Of course you can change those to your liking.

Too long and narrow for my wide foot. Heavy too. I prefer Nike Pegasus Trail they’re more supportive and lightweight, plus more features like an ankle cuff and goretex.

I'm a big fan of Hoka running shoes. I thought, why not try the hiker? They're super cute. I have tons of compliments. But they don't fit well, and they are not comfortable for being by Hoka (or any other shoe company for that matter). Furthermore, they aren't holding up all that well. Admittedly, I'm hard on shoes. And I hike 3 times a week or more in these shoes (3-4 miles for reference). But, considering how bulky these shoes are I expected them to be more durable. Traction is great. I will say that....

The headline speaks for itself. The fit was overall amazing & true to size. Great terrain, breathable material, heel has a spongy cushioning. Its the toooooooes that had an uncomfortable feel. The surrounding area just too narrow & stiff. After finishing a small hike, I had to take them off as my toes were throbbing in discomfort

I have purchased numerous Hoka shoes over the years for running and walking mainly. I love the support, cushion and large toe box. I actually thought all models would have those features. Unfortunately my current purchase does not have a "normal" Hoka toe box and my toes are a bit cramped. So much so, that I actually developed a blister for the first time with a pair of Hoka shoes!

I know Hoka makes shoes with varying levels of cushioning and maybe I didn’t check carefully. This shoe has been probably my least favorite (I have owned several varieties). I’ve worn them for the past spring/summer, putting about 200 miles on them and the outer soles are quite beat up. The shoe is also kind of clunky and “hard” feeling for a Hoka although its lightness is a plus. In general, I’ve struggled with Hoka hikers being durable.
