I was hesitant to buy these hiking shoes because of the price but the moment you put them on ... game changer! So light and comfortable to wear. I read some of the reviews about the bunching of the mesh area and this did not happen to me. Great shoe when you hike for miles, does not weight your foot down and so breathable!

I really loved them. They perfectly fit and the color is super nice I didn't expect they would be that cool! I'm glad my friend suggested that to me and I bought them :)

I'm not a tennis shoe person but this shoe helps for my plantar fasciitis and heel pain. It's comfortable but SO MUCH shoe. I could wear for hours but not all day.

You'll not be sneaking up on anyone in this squeaking shoe (nor even walk in a public hallway without heads turning). I like the fit and feel. This pair was a replacement from Hoka because the first pair I bought had a malfunction in the sole with a bit of it flapping open.

I originally ordered these shoes in a 7.5, my normal size in Hoka shoes. I do not have wide feet, but I prefer a wide toe box. These were just too snug in the width overall, especially with hiking socks. They also felt just a tad too short. I returned them and ordered an 8, which was a good choice. They fit very well, were not too long, and the width afforded me some real comfort. I haven't worn them hiking yet, but I love Vibram soles so I think this should work out well.

Long story-long: Last year I bought a different Anacapa that I loved, in size 8, due to customer service telling me they fit true-to-size. They did not fit, they were too big. AND the ridges on the soles tore away from the bottom of the shoes within a couple weeks. I exchanged them for a new pair at 7.5, and the same thing happened and they were still too big. Luckily, I was approved for a return under my warranty. These Anacapas are a little different, so fingers crossed for better results. Based on sizing for the others, I ordered size 7, but they were too small. I wore them for a few hours to see if I could get by with it, and that was enough to judge that they ARE comfy and feel good. But just too small, so I issued an exchange for 7.5 and hopefully I get them soon! They also have this style in a boot that I really want, so that'll be my next HOKA purchase.

Comfortable and with no pain in my heels or ball of my foot finally. Although the top of the shoe is completely relaxed and breathable it bends in such a way it rubs the top of my feet. Maybe my feet are too thin? Bummer! Everything is great. I wore hiking and for a long walk.

The color is not as vibrant as the online photo for the green. Very comfortable shoe with a narrow fit but spacious toe box. I wore these on a 2 1/2 hour hike with no discomfort right out of the box. I sized up to 9 1/2 and I'm glad I did to wear thick socks. So far I'm happy with the performance.

I have had Hoka for over five years and I usually upgrade between 9 months to a year. Love the Bondi and I usually get wide. In the last three years I've broken my leg and had a knee replacement. So a lot has been going on, my purchase of the Ancapa Breeze two weeks ago was a big change I went to regular width, at first I thought big mistake one foot was just right but one fit just a little snug. Now I have no leg pain my exercise program is spot on I believe the shoes have given me the additional support I needed I will invest in another pair. Great job Hoka.

I splurged on these because I have joint problems and so many people recommended the brand but didn't feel they were worth the hype. They're not super comfortable out of the box. I usually wear Nikes and will probably stick to those in the future. I do love the look of the clay color so I still wear them when an outfit calls for I but I don't use them for long walks or very active days.

I love them they look great on lots of compliments, the only thing the laces could be better. They untie easily when I don't want them too!

I absolutely loved the shoe when I first received it. However, after wearing it on several trail hike and then several flat walks on asphalt and/or hard packed trails, I could see that the forefoot support was not right for me as I have severe pronation on my right foot. The mesh construction on the sides of the forefoot did not provide enough support to keep my foot from moving over the side of the sole. My foot was becoming sore as well as my ankle.

So far, these shoes are very comfy and work wonders as I tend to be on my feet most of the day. I work retail and found that this sneaker works well..however I would like to test out other styles to see which performs better! Super stylish too! Would recommend :)

I am a letter carrier and walk 17000 steps a day at my job. I have heard such great things about Hoka and FINALLY purchased!! I love the look and support of these shoesone thing that is a negative is that my big toes hurt after about 4 hours of wear I have plenty of room in my shoes but wonder if the piece of leather at the top of the toe causes this. Otherwise, very happy with my purchase.

Excellent in almost every way, but too narrow in the toes for customers whose arthritis requires a wide toe-box.

I bought the shoes for hiking in hot weather when boots weren't needed. I'm in Italy's Cinque Terre this week. It's not hot but the trails are rocky and uneven. One day it rained. The shoes have been fantastic in terms of grip. They do feel more narrow than my Hoka running shoes. My pinky toes feel the sides of the shoes. So far, no blisters. I hope they continue to do well as it gets hotter. I love these shoes!
