The shorts are exactly as expected, true to the description. I have worn this style of shorts for years performing yard work and the occasional trip to the gym.

Great product but sizing comparison is wrong online. My waist is 35 to 36 in. Sizing indicated large but I fit in medium. I had to send it back

These shorts are very comfortable. When I first got them I held them up and thought that the wrong size had been sent to me. Great lounging shorts and around the house wear.

Here's what's up with these shorts. First off, these are your standard cotton shorts, but there's two things to keep in mind before buying. These are made withOUT an elastic band, just the drawstring. The best part though (most manufacturers never do) is that the drawstring is *long* - very long. This is a good thing. Some people don't care about elastic banding, so if your going for a run or a workout, these are perfect. Secondly, these are *not* good for big guys with bellies. Trust me. The reason being is that if you have a tummy, you're going to find it hard to tie a bow with the drawstring in the first place, as well as the fact - that to keep them up - you'll have to squeeze that tummy in to tie the bow tight and throughout the day, it's going to end up hurting a bit by the end of the day. I've owned shorts like this in the past, and certain big guys know what I mean. So, the brass tacks is this. If you're a workout guy going to the gym or going for a sweaty run, these are perfect. These shorts have THIN fabric, so underwear is also something to consider. On the other hand, if you're a big guy like me, you'll want to consider shorts with elastic bands for comfort if you plan to wear shorts 'all day.' I wear shorts year-round, all the time, all day long. These are not designed for that. I know shorts. These are ideal for certain people, but not ideal for others. As workout shorts, they're perfect. All-day-long wearing? No.

These shorts are great. Comfortable and light weight. I wear them to work out in or just around the house.

I found the xxl size extremely too large. Usually wear this size in other brands but these just fell off me. Quality however was good

The shorts are comfortable and easy to put on and pull off. I use these shorts for many different chores, so the ease with which I can change them is a plus.

The shorts are nice. Fabric isn't as thick as I would like. Unfortunately, they don't stay up over my waist as well as I would like either, But I am 235lbs. They are comfortable though, and appear to wick sweat away. I also like the length, they aren't too short

Comfortable enough for around the house and proves worthy to do some squats. I would find dedicated running shorts if looking at these shorts to do so, as they are slightly baggy and the pockets while deep, may cause some obstruction if you have a phone in either one.

Very comfortable, like the deeper pockets, lightweight. Probably a little long - almost covering the knee, to play tennis, which is my main activity.

These shorts are some of the most comfortable I've ever worn. A little bit longer in length than I expected. And the pockets were a bit small. Found them better to lounge around in than run in due to the length.

Liked the shorts, but they were too long (9" inseam) and long waisted too. The elastic in the waist made shorts fit too loosely for my comfort.

Purchased 4 and one pair came apart at the rear seam. OOps moment. What should I do?

elastic waist is not as good as similar Champion brand for a couple dollars more.

These shorts were much larger than expected. The shorts are longer than expected but due to being larger than needed. My husband takes XL and a larger would have fix. I am shrinking them.

The drawstring is a loop instead of strings coming from opposite directions to tie like a shoelace. I ended up cutting the loop and putting a knot at each end to ensure the drawstrings didn't disappear into the short. Would have been nice to have directions.

This is the second order for these shorts and I have had to return both orders. First order. I wear a size 42 waist so according to the chart I needed to get 2XL shorts. WRONG Shorts could have fit a 60" waist. Second order. I saw where I could put in my height and weight. 6' and 220#. Was recommended to get XL. WRONG. Those could fit a person weighing well over 220# and much taller than 6'. Thanks for letting me return both orders and getting a full refund however surely your company should have people who could try these items on to see if they are the correct size for then sizes that are recommended. Guess I need to give up for now

They are a good pair of shorts at a decent if not slightly high price. I was let down by the drawstring. They do keep the shorts up, but if you have any weight in your pockets and/or do heavy activity they don't hold up great. I was looking for a drawstring that was two separate strings that could be tied together. The website just said "drawstring"

Good 100% Cotton fabric, but elastic band seems lacking in it's enduring hold. The design of the shorts leaves room for improvement. Over time, longer leg length designs are more appropriate. That's the biggest drawback for me. I wish they were a little longer...

Quality is good but they are a little long. Currently trying to find info on how to return them.

I thought these shorts would be the same as my old Russell shorts, but it appears the cut is different, ie, too long and more baggy , like the ridiculous looking ones that a lot of people wear unless my old ones have shrunk that much . But they're not as bad as the ones I've seen in the stores, so I guess they'll have to do .

Ordered XL shorts. They are very, very large compared to competitors. Advice: Buy one size smaller than you normally wear.
