Sizing is terrible on these cotton shorts. There doesn't seem to be a standard.

Received product and you can actually see through the fabric. I expected more from Russell Athletic.

These shorts have the cheapest drawstring and one broke within 4 days of purchase. Could not find the 3 pocket coaches shorts that yes I paid more for in years past so thought I would buy three pairs of these. Bad thinking.

Russell Athletic's quality has gone WAY DOWN!!!!!!

I was expecting the quality cotton Russell Athletic is known for but was disappointed in the quality. The cotton is not as expected. I have purchased many pair of Russell Pro Cotton shorts in the past which are soft and plush. What I received are thin, rough and poor quality. They were purchased as a gift so the recipient will determine if they get returned. I imagine they will.

I bought these shorts for a long time. The quality has gone down the elastic is useless ands I'm so very disappointed in them. Not the same shirts I used to get for sure. Cheap and a complete waste of my money.

Terrible, unless you like shirts that go below knee. Nothing like picture on website, or previous versions of this short.

I wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy. They are so big too people could fit into them.

These shorts are comfortable and feel great. Washable and hold there shape very well for any number of times you wash then. They are my choice for comfort and durability.

I ordered the basic jersey cotton shorts in size large. What I received are enormous. Maybe "large" these days is for obese men with 50 inch waists, but I'm 34 to 36 and anything else I have from other brands marked "large" fit perfectly. Luckily, I only intend to use these for lounging around the house and sleepwear so the gross oversize won't be seen in public. I guess the up side is there's plenty of airy space for the gonads.

I have been wearing Russell Athletic cotton shorts to the gym for years and have always worn the Large size, with fitted great. Therefore I ordered Large again. The shorts that were received, though tagged as Large, were much too big for me. Apparently, they were mislabelled or their sizing was changed. Sadly, the shorts went back to Russell. Maybe I'll try the Mediums next time.
