Shoes have no tongue. Hard to get on. I returned them.

These broke after 14 mos of wear. The plastic in the bottom gets really brittle and when it snaps, you're left with a creaky shoe. Worse, the hundred fifty dollar price tag still doesn't cover the plastic for warranty.

Wide is not very wide. Just not wide enough. Otherwise a nice looking shoe.

Looked really good in the picture, but once I tried them on I realized that they were very uncomfortable in my size.

I got the shoes and they looked really good. They were way too big for my foot even though I always wear 11s. Also too wide. The support for the full foot was missing. The heel did feel very cushioned.

Not Comfortable. Left and right shoes fit significantly different from each other. Toe box is very tight, yet heel and ankle area are loose.

Very heavy shoes, back is high and front is low which makes the front of foot carry pressure and weight. I have used them a few times and not sure if I can return. I am a true fan of the brand, first time not happy with a JM product

This shoe has been by far the worst quality J&M I have had in the last 6 years, the knit gets pulled by anything, (have owned previous knits like the Prentiss U throats and after years of use not a single thread has come pulled), the paint on the side has come off after a few times in the rain, and for a waterproof shoe the soles are hyper slippery if the surface is anything metallic, so if wet, this shoe will make you slip and fall on metallic surfaces, a lawsuit in the making especially since they are waterproof shoes. For sneakers I only love the J&M waterproof ones since they make a huge difference when you need it, but absolutely disappointed at these for the low "everything" on them. "Pandemic factory quality?"

I purchased J&M shoes in past and they fit wonderfully. This is first purchase of a shoe that can be medium or wide width and I don't like it. It was 1/2 size too long and looked terribly wide and clunky. I returned the shoe (which I never do) and am awaiting a credit. Based on this experience I will not buy a shoe unless it is a true medium only. At the price of these shoes I would have expected better than a one size fits all!

Shoes were too tight, did not work with my inserts. If I removed the provided insole, the front of the shoe had no cushion. Made me feet feel worse instead of providing support and stability

Great looking shoe, but could not wear as they do not fit a wide foot. Took out the insert and still too narrow. Gave them away and the person I gave them to, couldn't wear them either. Maybe just sell as medium width?

Didn't like these shoes, always some small stones got stuck in between the sole and make it so uncomfortable! Not worth the price.

M/W the shoes need to be wide with the cushion soles, otherwise they are uncomfortable and toe box is weird. Similar issues with many JM shoes. Love X4 series but have stopped buying. Take the cushion insert out to fit, and then worthless in comfort. I hope the wake up, I have many friends that have decided to move on.

Usually, J&M shoes fit really well and are the most comfortable. These were no where close to that. They run way too large. I tried two different pairs (and colors) and both fit the same even when tied the tightest. It was the width. These shoes are so wide, my foot slides right out. I'll stick to my older styles.

I bought a 9.5 size, this shoe was too tight for my foot, I returned it. Maybe try the next half size larger.

Normally anything XC4 is extreme comfort. Except these. The look is great but that's about it. I ended up exchanging these for much more comfortable shoe. Really surprised that these didn't live up to what I'm used to.
