Look great and feel great. Soles have delaminated both at toe and heel on both shoes within a few months. So disappointed.

I've purchased Johnston Murphy shoes many times over the years and have been completely happy with them. This shoe is the exception to my JM experience. The first pair I received had a defective welt on the inner right heel area so I returned them for another pair. The second pair arrived with the same defect in the same area. I can only assume that this is due to some tooling problem so I gave up and returned the second pair also. Other than that, they are beautiful shoes I had planned to wear to my daughter's wedding but was not meant to be.

I have worn the shoes once to the office and the finish has lots of scratches and blemishes.

I really like the Upton shoe but this one is terrible. After just one time wearing them, they look awful. And one shoe is much worse than the other. Generally, a JM fan but very disappointed. I sent an email earlier but NO response.

This is my third pair of Jm shoes. I am disappointed. They are hard, inflexible, and not at all comfortable. I bought them for an Alaska cruise, sadly will not be able to wear them.

Poor quality materials used in the manufacture of this shoe. Far too expensive for what it is. I'm an active purchaser and wearer of J&M shoes so this review is coming from a brand fan but I have to be honest about this shoe in particular.

Not a very attractive shoe. I wanted an attractive black business casual shoe. This isn't it. The gray sole is odd. You can't tell from the online picture, but when the shoe is on your foot, the gray color draws your attention. Pass on buying it.

This shoe has zero arch support and you end up walking very flat footed in this shoe.

Just as the title states, upton are a great stylish shoe that can be both professional and casual as well. Only complaint I have is my pair aren't even a year old and the sole is already coming apart on the front of the shoe.

Usually the shoes from Johnston Murphy are great but this pair is just so so. I like the style but the quality and materials used seems cheap. Likely won't last long. Wouldn't recommend

Leather is very easily scuffed. The soul at the toe area is already separating. Very unsatisfied with this purchase.

I had to return the shoes because they were made of hard plastic - as I walked the top of the shoe dug into my foot. They also scuff by just tying your shoes. I had them on for a few minutes before packaging them back up.

Something about the heel design hurt from the moment I tried the shoes. They've been returned.

I had to immediately return due to the toe of the right shoe was discolored so badly that it was obviously not inspected at the factory. However, I reordered them because I already have a pair and love them. These new ones are a gift.

Ordered a 10 wide from website. Shoe that showed up said it was 10 wide, but the shoe was massive. Placed next to other J&M shoes I own and it was almost an inch longer. Clearly a 12+ shoe that was somehow mislabeled.

These shoes come across as cheap shoes. I was very disappointed. After wearing them once, the shoe coloring has worn away. The shoe now has a bunch of marks from hitting them against an object. And they do not appear to be made well. I am a fan of yours b ut this was a disappointing shoe.
