The shoe feels great and looks great; however, the sole started coming apart after about a month or two. The two-toned sole means two separate pieces of rubber with the brown pieces peeling off. I gave it two stars overall because with such a price, I expect more durable construction.

The construction and material is good, but the sizing is way off. I ordered the size I wear in all shoes and brands. This shoe is extremely small, narrow, and tight. A full half size, if not full size small. This shoe runs much smaller than any shoe I've had.

Love the shoes! But, it's sad that they are not made in size 15 to give them as a gift to my son. I love this style! It is classy and elegant!

I purchased these shoes previously and they fit perfect out of the box. One of the more comfortable shoes I own. So much so I purchased a second pair in a different color, which also fit perfect out of the box (10.5 Medium). However, I did have an issue with the sole on one pair and J&M sent a replacement. When I tried on the replacement, they fit much more narrow in the toe box than the first 2 pairs I owned. I called J&M and they sent another replacement, which also fit narrow in the toe box. Something must have changed with their manufacturing process or facility. Nonetheless, I like the shoes enough that I am going to try a 10.5 wide to see if that fits more like the original pair. J&M customer service was great so no complaints there. Hopefully the wides resolve the issue .

Not the same color of gray that is pictured. This picture above shows a light gray, the ones we got were DARK gray

Advertised as Oiled Leather but they really aren't. Oiled leather would darken as they rub together, etc. They are really very "plasticky" and just scuff up. Very disappointed

Unfortunately I had to return them as they were very uncomfortable to wear, unlike other J and M shoes

Shoes are comfortable now after some breaking in but the heel was initially extremely uncomfortable. The picture seems to differ from the shoes that I received. They definitely are not oiled as appears to be the case in description and photos. Material appears to be more of a nubuck-like material. That said, they scuff and stain extremely easily. Not sure they will hold up long term.

Originally they felt very good and comfortable, after wearing a couple of time they became very uncomfortable. I thought they would be just like the Amhurst (BLK Knit) I purchased. I have worn the shoes a couple of times and they are not getting any more comfortable. I have worn them out side a couple of times, but I would like to return them if possible. The shoe itself is great looking, but not. for me to wear.

I have been through two pairs of these, both pair had the sole separating from the shoes. I wore them for a few weeks before noticing, so figured it was too late to return them. I took them to a local shoe shop to see if they could get it fixed. They have glued both the heel and toe twice, and they still come apart. Very disappointed for a shoe this expensive. The fit and comfort are great, and love the look...just very disappointed in the quality and issues with the sole.

First time I wore them they Rubbed a large blister on right heel in a very short period of time. Still waiting for it to heal before being able to try them again.

Shoe sole started separating after 3 weeks wear. Store required me to request replacement from company. After returning my shoes and 6 weeks of several calls, they finally shipped me a new pair. After 2 weeks of wear the same issue has started in the new pairs. Only give 2 stars because the shoe is very comfortable.

Very comfortable shoes, well made.
They did scuff fairly easily on the leather but overall the shoe quality and comfort is quite good.

Generally comfortable, but the outermost layer of the rubber sole began to peel away after about one week if wear. They need to do better.

Probably my least favorite shoe I own from J&M, and I own(ed) a lot (probably 20 pairs). The heel of the shoe was extremely stiff, caused chafing on the back of my foot even after several wears. I've tried to work it down and soften it up with no luck. Great looking shoe, but will stay clear of this line. Have not had this problem with any others.

It's not a casual and it's not a dress shoe. It's overpriced for what you get.

I am a project manager for a general contractor in Arizona. I wanted a pair of shoes that would look good in the office but also be durable enough for site visits and walking in the dirt. When these shoes arrived I was super please but over the first and last six months of the shoes life they have deteriorated. The black rubber on the bottom of the shoe is coming off and hanging on by a thread. For the price I would expect these to last longer then six months, just saying.

Can a shoe be too light? Hat certainly seems to be the case here. Just feels cheap. The laces started to decompose after two weeks. Who tries to save money by making cheap shoe laces? I've been a customer for years but can't recommend this product
