The North Face is my favorite shoe. These looked good, but Unfortunately, these had to be returned. The fabric was stiff.

I use my Vectiv Fastpack shoes for light hiking and city walks. The rocker sole is comfortable and supportive for an MTP joint with osteoarthritis. The only issue is that the fabric used on the collars is not durable and after 3-4 months of light use the collars have holes in the fabric. None of my other shoes have had this problem. An upgrade in the durability of the fabric would solve the problem and if done, I'd recommend this shoe to others and buy it again.

Love the sneaker, had a pair, but this pair was too wide, specifically in the heel. Tried to pad it up but didn't work.

I use the shoes for walking, I had the black ones before and they were also good.

I've loved my previous north face hiking shoes, but these are sadly so uncomfortable. I've gotten blisters every time I've worn them. They have a weird extra piece of material by the tongue of the shoe that rubs uncomfortably the entire hike. The blisters are appearing on my heel - not a place I've ever experienced blisters before.

I really liked the look of these shoes, and wanted to love them! They are low profile and lightweight while still being sturdy and having good traction for hikes. That said, they seem to be too narrow for my feet. By usual size of 6.5 was way too tight, but when I sized up a half size, they still were uncomfortable despite my toes now having room. Sadly returned both pairs. If you don't have wide feet, these might work better for you!

I love the shoe at very beginning. Fits perfect, but with a short time fabric start to fail and they are not water prove as I hoped they would.

This is a nice enough looking shoe but it slipped on my heal (I have a very narrow heel). It also has a rocker base that really hurt my big toes (arthritis in main joint) because it felt like it was slinging my foot forward to fast and unnaturally. Back these go!

Pretty comfortable, I think due to the Vectiv feature. Bought it for a trip to Montana/Yellowstone. After our first day at Yellowstone, the fabric around my ankle tore. Not sure how but feel like as trail shoes, they should be more durable. Not like i'm a trail blazer. Got back from my trip and sent it off to see if it could be repaired under warranty. It's been a couple of weeks and haven't heard yet but maybe i only hear back when they're done.

First time trying TNF shoes. They felt small, stiff materials.

I use these for walking. I find the heel rubs and the way the tongue is folded in is not flat so it irritates at times. I would not buy again.

I have used them three times for Walking and Cardio at gym. I purchased the 0.5 size larger as I had done with my Women's VECTIV Exploris FUTURELIGHT. The VECTIV Fastpack FUTURELIGHT. I do not recommend doing this. These are very roomy shoes... perhaps a 0.5 size below the normal size would work.

These were very cushy and comfortable for the most part, but I didn't love how the top creased and hit my toes. It wasn't very painful or anything, just annoying, but I'm not sure how it would feel after hours of walking. Seemed to run TTS

I loved my old Vectiv's that I bought a few years ago, they wore really well. I walked in them everyday, on pavement, dirt trails and in the snow. I used them hiking as well, a 10km day was still feeling pretty good in them! I purchased this new pair in April, started wearing them in May, my first hike was in June. I walked maybe 2km a day in them walking my dog around my local trail system. I noticed that in July my feet were starting to hurt, I checked out the shoe and it's completely worn out! The tread is down worse than my old pair and the heel is cracked on either side. Also, the fabric by the foot well is split on each shoe. I don't abuse my shoes and always untie them, so never a stress point slipping in my foot.
My old Vectiv's didn't do this and they have way more miles on them. It's extremely disheartening that they didn't really last a season, especially for the cost.
If you are looking to replace your old pair of hikers, just beware that the quality isn't the same.

I'm someone who can wear normal shoes but sometimes take a wide to accommodate a slight bunion. The toe box on these was too snug. My feet immediately felt warm. I will also note -- I hate the shoelaces. They are coated in something that adds a lot of friction. This is actually my third attempt at trying on these shoes (tried a different size + the men's version in a store) -- and across the board I found it really annoying to try to adjust the laces how I wanted them. It's frankly just difficult to pull the laces tight to tie them!
Merrell, please make wide widths!

Too small for my wife even though we ordered a half a size large. I'll try to get them a full size bigger and see if she can wear them.

I wore them in a heavy dew and came home with wet socks. North Face would not take them back even though I had only worn them one time.

Poor workmanship! Shoes started to rip from sides after 6th time wearing them for city walks- not hiking or running! Purchased in December and by January they look like old shoes
