I love how this shoes feel so light and super comfortable. It's been only one day of wearing them but so far I really enjoy wearing them. I tried two different brands shoes but they just didn't feel right. These feel perfect since the first moment I putted them on. I'm looking forward to use them on many camping and hiking trips.

I purchased these for a recent trip to Iceland where we did a good amount of hiking, to include waterfalls and gorges. They worked great! Proved to actually be waterproof, which was extremely important for my use in cold, rainy weather. They were perfect for me, as I did not want to purchase full on hiking boots since I'm not a huge hiker and probably wouldn't wear again. These gave me plenty of support and tread on slippery rocks. My only note is to be sure to wear socks with heel tabs, as I got some nasty blisters when breaking in before my trip. Other than that, they're great!

Comfortable, lightweight, will use on vacation, will double as hiking and workout shoes, so I don't have to pack 2 pair of shoes, what a relief!

I wanted comfort and style. Good for Chicago city pavements and great for Montana hiking. Really really really happy with these shoes.

I was looking for a good waterproof hiking shoe and the s.a. told me this is very light and super supportive. He said it is a favorite shoe for hiking the Appalachian Traim because of its lightness. I sized up half a size. It was immediately comfortable when I wore it for an urban walk to give it a try out. I'll be wearing these shoes for a safari trip to South Africa. I really like how light these shoes are. The movement of the foot in the walking motion is wonderful, like I'm being propelled forward. And I like that they don't look like hiking shoes. I buy NF clothes and I'm appy to now discover the NF footwear.

If you are looking for comfortable, lightweight, durable, nice-looking shoes and still affordable, then this is it. I tried on different types and brands of sports shoes and nothing compares to this pair. I was so happy I stopped by The North Face store and find out about these shoes. I will never go back to other brands.

These shoes are great. I used to wear hiking boots but they just get too hot in the summer. These have been great. I am happy with the fit, feel, and comfort of them. This is the third pair in my family and everyone raves about them.

This is the third pair of these Vectiv Futurelight shoes that I have bought in different colors. These have to be the most comfortable, yet rugged shoes I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. The rocker type sole makes each step feel springy but very grippy and soft. They work well on the gravel and rocky trails around the foothills of Boulder. And even though they are waterproof, they breathe nicely and don't get too hot at all. I wear a womens size 9 and a mens size 7. I bought one of each because I liked the different colors.

Of course, practicality comes first. A hiking shoe has to grip, provide lots of support, be mostly weather proof, and light-weight. This shoe meets all of those. But lets be honest - the gross selection of women's hiking shoes are ugly looking, boxy things you'd only wear in the wilderness. This is not that shoe! While they're not a pair I'd wear out on a daily basis, I wouldn't mind people seeing me in these if I'm on a walk with my dog or adventure on a local hiking trail. Not to mention, they're incredibly comfy. Although, as for any hiking shoes, remember to break them in!

Love them! At first I thought they ran big but after snugging up lace and them getting wet they are a perfect fit. I always wear a size 9. Very water proof, great support and traction. I use them for work (landscape gardener), Mnt biking and hiking! Love them. It is great to count on quality shoes to keep you dry and supported.

I bought a pair of these in black a while ago and they are so supportive and comfy. So, o got this nice color too. They have that bouncy feeling that makes you feel like you are walking on little springs that propel you forward. They are waterproof but breathable and I've done quite a few hilly and rocky trails with great results. They have incredible grip too. I bought my usual women's size 9 and they fit perfectly. Plus they look really cool!

I bought them for hiking, but took them for a spin walking around NYC for the weeklong vacation. They are comfortable with minimal to no break-in period. I walked in them for over 9-11 miles a day. After the trip, I finally was able to break them in on a 8-mile hike. The soles are grippy with all sorts of terrain, including loose gravel, rocky and wet soil. The shoes held up great when on the descent, without any slipping. I bought the blue-green ones, so I wiped them with wet wipes/paper towel after the hike to make sure I keep them clean after each use. I love them, and I think I prefer these over the boots because they are light and still provided great support.

I took these on a trip to Iceland, lots of hiking many terrains from waterfalls to glaciers and including city streets. They are very lightweight, very supportive and such a phenomenal fit. True to size. I highly recommend.

I got these to wear in place if my usual hiking boots as they got hot as weather changes. I was hesitant if a sneaker would keep feet stable climbing up some rocks and lasting for duration. These impressed me on both counts. I don't do anything too hardcore but like a good climb and some intermittent rocks to scurry up.
