These shoes have the most comfortable soles I have worn. The only thing I wish is that there was a little wider toe-box. Overall, super happy with my purchase.

This is my 7th pair of these shoes, and I love how they are great for every day walking and light hikes in the mountains. I have gotten used to the VECTIV rocker in the foot bed, it was bugging me the first time they changed to this technology as I thought it felt to "springy" and "rocker" and it was changing my gait in an awkward way, but my body has adapted after a couple pair. North Face has changed the fabric of this shoe this year and I am not a fan as it gives a bit of a plastic-like fabric effect which doesn't lay flat on the shoe. The fabric wrinkles around the toe box & sides, making this expensive shoe look cheap. I wish North Face would stop trying to "improve" this shoe because it was perfect 5 years ago. However, still a product I will buy again and again because it is a solidly constructed and fitting shoe that is perfect for my constant walking on dirt and gravel trails. (I also wish North Face would respond to long time customer's comments and take our input on design as someone who has worn these shoes for years.)

I have arthritis in the long bones of my right foot and these shoes are very comfortable, offer a wide toe box, and the rocker style helps ease arthritis foot pain when walking. For comfort I would rate them a 5. However, for tread durability I would rate them a 3 or less. When I use them for walking it's typically a 3.5 mile walk (on pavement or concrete) daily. The heel tread on these shoes shows severe wear after just 3 months which is crazy for shoes that are this expensive. I've never had shoe treads wear out so quickly. If these shoes weren't so comfortable for my arthritic foot, I wouldn't buy them. For now, I just look for sales on the shoes.

This powder blue is a pretty color, and I have been wearing them everyday all summer. This is probably my 10th pair of Futurelight hiking shoes, they are a really GREAT shoe for everyday walking and light hikes! I struggled a bit when North Face added the VECTIV "rocker" feature in the soles, but I have finally gotten used to it (after 2 pairs). I am able to put my orthotic foot pads into these shoes, which makes these shoes fit like a glove. This is a quality shoe that I will continue to buy. Please keep offering this style in the black color, as this is my go to shoe when I am out in the world traveling and black is more stylish.

Great shoe for hiking rough trail, light and tough. Has a bit more 'plasticky' look in person. I guess that's the waterproofing.

This is my third pair of these shoes. I love the fit, comfort, waterproofing.
The only issue I have is that the uppers wear out pretty quickly.
I like the blue, but prefer the black.
My feet are long and slender, not narrow, and the fit is great and true to size.

The shoes fit well and are very comfortable. They have kept my feet dry, but I have not been in a down pour. My feet get a little hot, but that is likely just my feet. I wish that I could find dark brown shows rather than lavender.

Second pair, these are my new favorite tennis shoe. I'm in love with the rock-bottom, the formfitting in soul and how well these shoes are holding up. I recommend these to everyone and prefer over the Hoka Bondi that I own.
My first pair ran a little small, but these seem to be true to size now

I really like this shoe because it is light and has good foot grip. I always buy it as the years go by for hiking. This year I notice that the fabric has a little less quality than another year and that I had to buy 8.5 and always a size 8.

Used for everyday hiking needs to be broken in and size is on the smaller side.

The shoe looked great and the fit was the worst. I never have a problem with foot west and I have to say that theses run way small, and narrow. I have no idea about the arch support because they didn’t fit. I’m going to return for a refund.
They look great and if you buy a size bigger they will likely be fine. They are narrower than they appear.
Just not for me!

Heel fit nicely. Toes felt a weird stiffness across the top with bending of the shoe with stepping. It caused my ankles to pronate so they had to go back. I did get the sensation of the shoe propelling me forward which was nice but not at the risk of causing knee damage from the ankle pronation. Grip on the soles were nice and sticky. These will be great for some feet- just not mine.

These shoes are lovely but slightly too short in the toe and too narrow for me even though my foot runs narrow. I would need an 11.5 or a 12 and they do not come in these sizes. Otherwise, they are a great, lightweight, rocker style hiking boot. North Face---please offer more size options and make the toe box wider! Also, the shoelaces are funky -- very hard to move or tighten.

First of all, the grippy tread is awesome. They’re waterproof. They’re also very nice looking. The only thing is, I find that my feel can end up pretty sore after really long hikes of around 10+ miles. I like them a lot, but I don’t absolutely love them.

I wear these all the time. They are great for city walking. My only gripe is the flat shoelaces, which twist in the holes and have to be replaced every ten days or so to untangle them. They appear to be cosmetic. Please go back to round laces!

Warning: Runs small! In most sneakers brands, I am either 6,5 or 7, so I thought 7 would be fine in these shoes, but nope. I went to the store and ended up buying 7.5 and even considered 8. Definitely size up! It is not narrow for my feet, which are neither narrow nor wide, though.
I got them in goblin blue, love the color. Not a huge fan of the design but this looked the best to me among the available designs. Wore them on my way back home since it started to rain a lot; I had training socks without any cushioning on, the left half irritated the back of my ankle and would have probably blistered it if I had to hike in them today, but the front side of the shoes are not too stiff; I think your feet wouldn't hurt after the break-in day.
They were waterproof today, but I am yet to see how durable and comfortable they are in long hikes.

Great shoe. I am looking for a waterproof sneaker type hiker and this seemed perfect until I spent some time walking around the house. Unfortunately, I developed blisters on both heels and must return. I have sensitive skin.

Incredibly comfortable. I wore these for a weekend trip to a strongman competition and they were the perfect shoes! They do get wrinkled around the toes.

If you are looking for a shoe to support and protect your foot, this is the one to buy. That being said, they felt too tight and constrictive on my feet. I would suggest ordering half a size larger. They have great tread on the bottom, and are very well made and high quality. I decided to go with a shoe or boot that came up higher on my ankle for more ankle support.
