I expected a more flannel product. This may be flannel but it's thin and not flannel-like.
I like it. and do wear it.

Flannel is very thick and warm; good quality. The relaxed fit is a little larger than I anticipated. I may try the more fitted style next time.

This shirt is the usual beautiful, hefty flannel I've come to expect from ll bean. However, the 'relaxed fit' description of the item is erroneous. I've purchased a multitude of items (flannel shirts) and this is the first petite XL 'relaxed fit' one that is fitting me like a slightly fitted one. I love the hooded relaxed fit flannel zip shirts I've purchased in the past. They are roomy and so comfy. This shirt is lovely and I will be keep it. However, if you are looking for 'roomy' I'd suggest going up a size.
I'm a Mom of a 26 year older and 30 year old. So I clearly no longer have a 'young' body. I'm physically fit with a fairly small chest and what I consider to be average shoulders and arms. I now have a tummy and not much of a waist. My hips are wide. So- overall the shirt works. It's just not the amount of 'roomy' in the hips that I expected. Lovely color ANGUS. Love the purple red black color scheme. Deep rich colors.

I already have a collection of these shirts and pretty much live in them all fall and winter. This is the first one to be made in Nicaragua. All the rest over several years have been made in El Salvador. All are 100% Cotton but this one suffered from some extra pilling when washed the first time. I needed to put some elbow grease into getting it cleaned up. I ironed it and hope it was just the first washing and doesn't happen again. The beauty of these shirts is they wear like iron and never look worn or show their age. I hope Nicaragua didn't change anything.

I had ordered one previous to this. I got shirt and short washed on delicate to get chemicals off. It's great color and soft and you can wear it as a shirt jacket with a white t shirt. I love all my LL Bean clothes/products. A button was about to fall off and I hadn't worn it yet. That is my only problem. I don't have time to try to send it back because of work, so I'm fixing it myself. I love it so much I want another one.

I bought this shirt for warmth and comfort following recent surgery. It is definitely a relaxed fit. The fabric is very soft and warm. My only complaint is that I would have liked another button just below the neckband so that the shirt doesn't gape near the neck and so that the neckband button is optional.

I keep buying Bean shirts and have three of these flannel shirts. Cozy, comfortable and work well alone or over a shirt. What I don't like is having to remove the stitched on labels from the back of the neck on each and every shirt lest I get scratched to distraction. I also straighten the hems on all my shirts since I never tuck them in and don't like the shirttail look on me.

This flannel shirt is very warm. I wish it were a little longer but otherwise like it. I ordered one size up from normal and am glad I did.

I love the color and feel of this shirt. However, I wasn't overjoyed with the quality of the material. I guess I hoped that , for the price of a flannel shirt, it would be somewhat more like the quality of your chamois shirts.

Curious as to why the button down collar for women on all of LL Bean's shirt have gone the way of the Dodo bird. Really like my old button flannel shirts and cotton shirts. Have to go elsewhere to find the them. Annoying because I liked those old LL Bean shirts... pls consider bringing back at least one style for women with a button down collar for us old preppies.

Excellent material and well made. Collar, cuffs & button plaque well interfaced so continue to stand up after washing. I don't use a dryer so I don't know what happens after going through dryer cycle. Wash & hang dry it looks great over and over. Colors stay true. Warm fabric.

Loved the quality. I ordered a Petit XL and it was too long in the sleeves, so disappointed there.

Even though the shoulders and arms were good fits, and the fabric is dreamy, I returned this shirt - unless you are definitely planning to wear something substantial underneath it, it's just way too roomy through the body -- it would work well over a turtleneck, but I wanted to wear it solo with jeans, which was kinda frumpy looking.

This is a slightly lighter weight flannel than some of my others. Fits well, very comfortable. Usually wear another shirt under it. No fuzzing or changes after washing and drying.

The shirt is a really nice shirt and very soft and comfortable. It is a little large for the size but definitely a good shirt for winter wear.

I bought this because the color I wanted did not come in the "fitted" option. The flannel fabric is high quality and comfortable and the fit is more or less what I expected given that the shirt is "relaxed fit." The pattern - Bean of Freeport Hunting - is beautiful.

I like everything about the flannel shirt except the collar, which is a bit too large.SC

I already had one plaid flannel shirt, which fit perfectly. This shirt is also a great weight, but it is a little small around the middle. Both shirts are large, but this second one is not true to size.

Nice length. Sits on the hips, covers my butt but not too long. Comfy. 2x fit me perfectly, EXCEPT, the sleeves are too long--they extend to the knuckles on my hands. Also, when I sit, the shirt opens a bit near the button holes. The buttons don't come undone, but you can peek in and see my bra, so the shirt could be a bit wider. Most troublesome are the long sleeves and I've already washed it once.

I love the relaxed flannel shirts. What I don't like about this year's version is the floppy, pajama-like collar. Last year's model was a button-down, and I like that collar much better. Why do they always want to change a good thing?

Cozy, winter-weight flannel. A bit more fuzzy than other flannels. Loose fit which can be worn over a long sleeved shirt. Slight shrinkage after washing & drying, but it still fits. Love the colorful plaid!

Very comfortable flannel. It would be a five star if the arm pits were gusseted. Looks great after wash and light touch up with iron.
