I have (2) other flannel plaids bought within the past 2 years from LL Bean. One quite NOTICEABLE change is the number of buttons. Same price (or higher) but the shirt now has only 6 buttons instead of 8. Not a big deal, you say? Well, the difference between 3" and 4" between buttons is significant because of the 'gap' which sometimes happens when you sit. The quality of the fabric and style appear to be quite good as usual. I'm just rather surprised at this attempt at cutting costs.

I loved this shirtpattern, softness, etc. but despite following the washing directions, it still shrunk. Exchanging for a larger size so I can wear a shirt underneath.

I really like this flannel shirt . I loved the colors also. My only issue is that it isn't wrinkle free out of the dryer as other LLBean flannel shirts I've bought.. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

I've been buying flannel shirts from L.L.Bean for many years. I prefer the relaxed fit for layering in cooler temperatures, and also because I am active and don't like the feeling of being restricted. I'm mainly interested in comfort and utility. Although I'm only 5'1" and weigh 120 pounds, this time I bought a large, rather than the usual medium size. I'd rather have it be too big than too small, and after many washings, these do tend to shrink. These shirts are well made and last a long time. I like the large just fine. Although I usually roll up the sleeves, I also like the fact that the cuffs have two buttons, for tighter or looser fit.

Purchased for my daughter. It is soft and a most attractive plaid, pared with light jeans. She said she wished the back was a little longer and curved for a more graceful untucked look.

VERY soft. Warmer than I expected. Gave it 4stars as I was looking for a lightweight shirt for layering.

A little larger than the roominess I expected, but otherwise I love it.

I like the color and the material. It could be a little looser around the hip area and the arms are too long, but overall a good warm shirt.

It's a nice shirt, but I won't be rebuying it. I bought a plus size because I try to hide my scoliosis with my clothes. This shirt has darts to make it more form fitting. I didn't see that in the description of the shirt or I wouldn't have bought it. It's pretty and soft, but it hugs my back which I was trying to disguise with a little fullness.

Runs a little small. Otherwise, very nice fabric and washes really nice.

Nice color and fabric. I'm 5'10" and most sleeves are short on me so I ordered a tall and the sleeves and shirt are quite long. Definitely didn't need the tall. It is a warm flannel and I kept it anyway.

The flannel items I have purchased from LLBEAN wrinkle so quickly and I don't like that look. I am 80 years and have a few more bulges than the young ladies you picture. Very few items are Relaxed Fit.

This is a wonderfully soft & heavy flannel. My only issue is that it really shrunk when I washed it. Now I wish I'd gotten a larger size. I would have ordered differently I'd known this would happen!

I love the shirt but had to switch sizes. I chose the Petite at first because I'm short and am SO tired of shirts whose sleeves droop past my fingertips. The sleeves were great but the shirt was too short. So I swapped it for a same-size, Regular. Now the shirt length is great, but once again, I will have to roll up the sleeves every time I wear the shirt....

I ordered a 3X expecting the flannel to shrink which it did. It shrunk almost 2 sizes.

Beautiful plaid! Nice fabric. It fits like a tailored ladies blouse rather than a relaxed fit flannel shirt.

The flannel is a typical Bean flannel. Great quality, good fit. I sized down in order to layer under sweaters, denim jackets, and utility jackets. The only down side is the color is not as vibrant as in the picture. The Gordon plaid was the proper coloring, but the red Stewart plaid was dull and muted. Not just on mine, but I saw several others and they were all the same muted tone. Must be the fabric used for that particular color scheme.

I didn't know I bought a petite. I wondered why it was so short on me. Maybe the sales girl should have told me it was a petite when I was buying it. One pile of shirts said fitted and the other pile said relaxed. It didn't say anything about petite.
I am 5'6" tall and would never buy a petite. I fear it is going in the Goodwill bag.

This is my second purchase of this shirt - I bought a small tall last year and decided to buy another this year, in xsmall this time. The small is a little too relaxed but I was worried the xsmall would be too tight in the chest/shoulders, but the xsmall fits great. For reference I'm 5'11" and about 150lbs. So if you're between sizes, I would definitely size down! It's a great shirt, I just wish the colors were a little brighter - the black watch almost just looks black.

Thick, soft flannel, yard dyed and brushed on both sides. If it's anything like the nightgown I got last year, it should last and be nice and warm with the colors vibrant. The medium fits nicely, even across the bust. I hope it doesn't shrink.

The neck band on this shirt is one inch larger than the Angus plaid purchased in July. I am unhappy with the larger neck!
