I bought a petite medium for my mom. Although they are super soft they are also super long. Definitely not for a short person. I would hate to see what the regular or tall would be like. I will either have to return or get them altered.

The fabric is a beautiful, soft and warm. However some design choices seem odd. Specifically, the buttons on the sleeves like it's a dress shirt? The top seems a bit short and the pants a bit long.

First off, the fabric is wonderful! Very comfortable and soft. The design of the Scotch Plaid is not at all what I expected and that is my fault. I unfortunately did not realize it was two plaid patterns pieced together. This makes it look very odd and clownish. In sizing, the top fit wonderful but the pants are very large. So, I do have a comfortable pair of flannel pajamas but not flattering at all.

Pants fit great, but top could have a little extra room in it.

PJ's are supposed to be loose-fitting for comfortable sleep. These were not.

Pajama flannel is very thin cotton - not very warm

I washed and dried the pajamas, the proportions could be a little better. The fabric is soft and warm. The pants are nice and roomy. But the shoulders are kind of constricting and the buttons are tiny.

I bought these pajamas because I have trouble finding any that fit me. I'm only 5'3" and 127lb and everything is usually too long. I read the size chart and the petite small seemed to check all of the boxes. I got these yesterday and as soon as I took them out of the packaging I knew they wouldn't fit. They were too long (I had to roll them up to not drag on the ground) and they were just way too big. The leg opening is as wide at the bottom as it is at the top. They would have been very comfy and warm but just didn't fit.

I bought these in a 1X because I like my pj's loose and roomy. The bottoms are humongous in both width and length, I am 5'5" and they come up to almost under my breasts. In contrast, the top seems skimpy, I am overweight but not large breasted, if I was I think the top would be too small. The sleeves are very long but the shoulders and chest area are not big enough. I haven't slept in them yet so do not know how that will feel. I will have to wash them on delicate in cold water and not put them in the dryer because if they shrink I will not be able to wear the top, I will decide about returning them after I have had a chance to wear and wash them. Disappointed in the huge difference in sizing between the two pieces.

Very comfortable but the L was way too big in the torso and way too long in the legs. I am 5'3 and they went past my feet. I have the same pair in red plaid regular and they fit perfectly, not sure why the sizing is so off for the cream pair.

If you have normal/wide shoulders go up a couple sizes? I don't think they sell the tops and bottoms separate. Everything is comfy and fits, but I can't sleep in my XL tall women's button up shirt because the fit of the shoulders is too narrow. It is odd because I have no problems buttoning it up or anything- but sleeping on my side it pulls into my armpit and keeps me awake. However I can sleep in my husband's matching XL tall men's shirt no problem- so dumb that brands tailor women's fits so close.

I bought these pajamas in September to replace a different brand that fell apart after 5+ years. I was really enjoying them and hoped they would serve me for a long time. Unfortunately, last night I noticed a hole in the sleeve - and not anywhere near a seam either, just in the middle of the fabric. The pajamas have probably been washed less than 10 times. I'm really disappointed but grateful for the return policy.

According to the instructions, I washed this pajamas separately right away. I'm glad I did. They came out of the wash, covered fuzz. When they were dry, are used up the better part of a lint roller to get the fuzz off inside and out. I wash them again. Separately, add, repeated the whole process. I haven't dared to wash them with other items so far. After the wash, the fabric is nice and soft and comfortable. However, the quality of the fabric is not the greatest. Also, the pants are wide and generously cut, which I like. The top is pretty tight. Fortunately, I am thin and I can wear it. After all the effort I put into the washing and lint rolling I I decided to keep them, although it was a somewhat disappointing purchase. I think they are over priced for what I got.

I have purchased several pairs Scotch Plaid Flannel Pajamas but this one seems to be different. The fabric is not as heavy. I also for like maybe solid colors or floral patterns.

WELL once again you're still trying to sell the same Irish or Scottish tartan fabric. When will you finally run out and choose a few plain colors like red or white or navy blue ?

For petite buyers, these fit more like a regular. Still need to roll up the sleeves. Other than the thinness of the flannel, the quality is good. For the price, I would not purchase these again - and I got them on clearance for $30.

Found that if staying with established Scotch Plaids, the material appears to be plusher as offered in past. To confirm, visited store and found several of the newer designs were not just thinner but noticeably so with a possible looser weave? and little flannel loft vs. the historically thicker "Scotch Plaid" fabric with higher "brushing". P.S. little appointments now lacking, i.e., piping. Also, could use a wee more wrist cuff sizing. Colors: would love to see the richer Dress Stewart offered vs. the Royal Victoria Stewart!...a gorgeous design...see it in the washable wool throw #276187.

I need a nice, warm set of pajamas for an upcoming trip to Antarctica. While the quality of these pajamas is lovely, I am disappointed. I ordered a size small, and the top is somewhat in the neighborhood of a generous size 8, but the pants are HUGE. They are going back today.

Pants part is way too long! I think an elastic cuff would be better. Other than that, very comfortable and good quality flannel.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I ordered XL to allow for shrinkage and they were a generous PJ fit except that the shoulders were snug and I knew that washing would make them even more uncomfortable. Sadly I had to return.

Waist too long, length too long. Not to petite standards. Quality good and has pockets unlike past LL Bean pajamas, which is why I purchased these. May need to look at children's sizes to fit right.

These are really cute but I just bought them and they are already all pilled. I agree with the other reviewers that the quality has changed.

Appears as though material quality thinner than prior purchases still in closet. Also, size also has expanded? ..which may be partially attributed to pockets in bottoms? Tops same but could use a tad more cuff expansion. /s/1 penny's worth.

I love the warm, soft flannel. I did not want a plaid and would have preferred a plain blue. However, my loud complaint is that the flannel even though washed and dried by itself, spreads lint all over the floors (a dry mop twice a week is black with it). It has clung to all the socks I wear to bed and to other clothing I wear, and I've even found it in the air purifier. Help!
