Had these 8 days and pilling after just sleeping in them. Will not buy a 2nd pair.

True to size, comfy and warm. However, I received the set 8 days ago and there is already pilling in the rear of the pants. I only wear these to sleep in. Therefore, I will not be ordering a 2nd pair.

The chart they refer you to is way off. I am 5'8 and I the chart said, at that height, I should order a medium tall. So I did. The tall was easily 3-4 inches too long and the sleeves on the top were too long. I returned them explaining my issues and ordered a small. LL Bean for some reason sent me a tall small. Had to return it again. Shipping has cost me $13. I will never order online from LL Bean again.

These are really comfortable! I bought the Indigo Tartan and it definitely shows the blue more than the light tan/beige color.
I wish I could order the top and bottom different sizes but it's not a make it or break it thing. I'm in between a medium and large with a muscular frame and the large pants are super long on me but the top fits. I'm 5'1" for reference lol. I got a large since I'm pregnant and wanted baggier loungewear during the winter.
It's a soft flannel material but lighter than I expected it to be yet still keeps you warm.
I wish they had white, green, and red plaid for Christmas time! And more feminine options
Another thing to note that was VERY irritating is that the tags are sewn into the seams. There are about 4 tags in 1 seam and are extremely itchy. I tried cutting them but that didn't help, so I had to literally cut it out of the seam which made a hole in it. This is something they really need to fix. Either make the tags easy to tear off, if if you're going to sew it into a seam, make it to where when we cut the threading to release the tags, it doesn't unravel the seam itself.

I love the color of these pajamas, but I could do without the button on the cuff and the pockets. Without these minor irritants, this would be a 5 star review.

I guess it was well made, but the size large, which the fit finder said I needed, was GIGANTIC and shapeless. Set was returned, and I'm on the hook for postage. Not stoked.

The flannel is not the same as it used to be, much thinner. It also pulls up incredibly quickly. The sizing I think is fairly on the large size.

These fit but the buttons are too small. I wake up on the morning unbuttoned.

PJs seemed wonderful soft. Love rich color. After only one wash fabric is "pilly". This happen especially in the crotch area. Fit was slightly big and comfortable except in hip crotch. I ordered XL,even though bottoms that are cut well for me, I can wear a large. I do tend to run bigger on the bottom.
It is too soon to know if I would purchase again. I am replacing jams that lasted me 20+years. I feel this will not have that lasting power.

Top too tight, pants too big. Nothing "relaxed" about the fit of the top. Wish you sold the pieces separately. That said, nice fabric, but returned the set as just not fitting me.

I received these pajamas as a Christmas gift (I asked my MIL specifically for these! :) and I am 5 8"1/2 and 129 lbs so I ordered the medium tall. I sometimes find mediums in general, especially in pajama pants, to be too short for me, so I was so happy to see LLBean had talls. But these are insanely big... it says medium tall on the tag but maybe they are mislabelled? Or I got the men's version? The pajama pants are 44" tall allover, and 33" inseam, I just measured. They fit my 6'2" husband perfectly, they almost drag at his heels, with room to spare in the waist (he is slender). The shirt is too long as well, but not as extreme. I washed them before I wore them so I can't return them, but I can always give my husband the pants :) The 3 stars are for the exquisite softness of the material, just amazing! I'm sad too because I needed these for the winter and now, post-Christmas, most of the sizes are sold out if I wanted to get a pair that fits.

The buttons are way too thin and small. In the past I have purchased winter flannel pj's from LLBEAN and the buttons were so good. They were larger and easier to handle when buttoning up the pajama top. I would not these again if they had the same buttons on them . They were expensive and I cannot afford to having theses buttons removed and new ones sewn on.

These are not the quality of the past flannel PJs I purchased. The fabric is lighter and more prone to shrinkage. I bought a pair for myself and my daughter. I will definitely be returning mine as the arm length shrank. She hasn't washed hers yet so the jury is out on returning hers. The LL Bean flannels I have which are 5 years old have held up great. Really disappointed .

Disappointed! I washed these when I received them and they came out a mess. Tons of fuzz and lint. Never had this happen with flannel from ll bean.

Item was pant were very long. I am 5 ft 6 inches and the legs were about 3 inches I too long. The sleeve length was also too long. Maybe would work for someone 6 ft tall.

Out of the package, I immediately loved them. Super loose and comfy. I washed and dried them according to the instructions and they shrunk dramatically in size. Bottoms are still okay, top is very uncomfortable.

The medium-sized top fit perfectly, but the bottoms (also size medium) are SO MUCH BIGGER all around. I am 5' 6.5" and weigh 132lbs and have been wearing L.L.Bean medium for years. These pajama bottoms are about 4 inches too long and are incredibly baggy throughout the legs and I have to really tighten the cord around the waist to keep them up. Since they are 100% cotton I thought I could wash and dry them to see if they would shrink, but nope. I really think the bottoms were either mislabeled or a mistake. Oh well, at least I can wear the tops.

Got a pair for Christmas. Love the pattern and the feel of the flannel , but there is something wrong with the sizing. The top is fine but the pants are enormous

I love the look and feel of these PJs and the quality seemed good. The sizing, however, was odd. The top fit perfectly but the bottoms were enormous - so oversized that I returned the entire set.

I love ll beans flannel pajamas. They are very good quality. However, getting in touch with customer service has been a bit of a challenge every time I call it rings one time and then I get a busy signal.

Sizing was very challenging, ultimately going to the actual LL Bean store was helpful and resulted in the correct fit, 3rd try (S to XS to XS (p)). Returns were also a challenge, with additional charges, wrong items being shipped, etc.

The style and material are good, but the sizing is crazy. I bought a small/tall pair a couple of years ago that were a good fit, but the small/tall pair I bought this year were huge and much too long. I exchanged them for X small/regular which fit better but are too short. I should exchange them again for X small/tall, but I have run out of patience.
