Pants are great, but all of your flannel tops run short. I'd love to have a flannel shirt that is longer!

I I love the fabric's softness. The colors are very pretty. But the legs are just too wide for me. I so wanted to love them but they felt like clown pants. And I am not thin in my lower area, quite the opposite.

These pajamas are soft and well made. As a seamstress, I appreciate nice details. They felt like a perfect fit at first, but as I moved around in them, the shoulder and underarm area felt very restricted in movement. It wasn't a "too small" issue (fit was generous in all other ways) but more of a design issue, I'd assume. They may work for other people of other sizes/shapes. Thank you, LLBean, for another easy return experience.

I bought these pajamas over a year ago so I sadly can't return them. I originally bought a size small and the bottoms were way too big and the top was fine. So I returned it and got an extra small the bottoms were fine and the top was really tight. I guess I thought I could deal with it but the top is extremely constrictive in the shoulders and it's only gotten worse with more washes so I can't wear them any more. I wish you could mix and match them I would get xs bottoms and a small top.

These pajamas are well made of very nice flannel. Unfortunately for me, they are extremely baggy in the legs. Had to return them.

The quality of this set is solid, and the fit is generous. The pockets are a nice touch. However, the flannel is so heavy that it is quite hot to sleep in these. I've woken sweating several nights as a result. I'll still enjoy these but they won't be my go to sleep flannel, unfortunately.

Product ran smaller than expected and shrank in laundry. Wish I had bought a larger size.

I love the warmth and quality of the cotton flannel. They are cozy and cuddly. However they are cut a bit short in the crotch and shoulders. I am an active sleeper so I notice this especially when rolling over at night.

It has a lot of lint. I have not washed and dried them yet and lint came off on my couch and bed. The sleeves and pants were long but I figure they will shrink after I wash and dry them. They are a heavier flannel which is good.

Too thin for my taste. They are not as thick and cozy as the flannel shirts.

I really wanted to love these. They feel great and are so cute but do not work for petite people. The top is fine but the pants are way too wide and just look ridiculous. Petite clothes need to be petite all around, not just in length.

The good:
- warm and cozy
- fit is decent for plus size
The bad:
- I have a Royal Stewart plaid LL Bean men's robe from probably 5 years ago; it is great, high quality, soft, warm - everything you'd expect from LL Bean. These pajamas are a completely different fabric. They are pinker, less finely woven, and feel like they won't last nearly as long. The thighs are already pilling after maybe four wears. I'm so disappointed in that. They're comfortable now, but I have no hope of them lasting more than a year.
- Buttons on sleeves. Why????

Purchased after NYT picked them as the best pajamas on the market. They are certainly comfy and warm, but are pilling and warping size a little after just a few washings. Perhaps my expectations were too high.

Top was accurately sized for Petite; bottoms were wide enough for me and two friends. Washed and dried to try to shrink a bit and ended up with same wide width, but about 6" shorter length. So now have pajama bottoms at calf length.

The bottom fit fine but the top is too small. As several other reviewers have mentioned. Had to return

These pajamas are warm and the colors are attractive. The only trouble I have is that the sleeve length is way too short and the top is a little too form fitting for my comfort. I usually order talls, but the pants in talls are huge. Wish you had more options for flannel separates.

I bought these pajamas in January 2020. I wore these nice and cosy pajamas in a rotation with 3 other pair. On the first wearing this season, I turned over and heard a ripping sound. Maybe expecting a third year is too much. BTW, the LL Bean flannel sheets in the photo are fantastic!!

These pajamas are well made and are very cozy and warm. I ordered a size small (113 lbs.) because I normally wear a small. It turns out that they are a bit small for me across the shoulders and waist and a little short in the crotch. I probably should have gotten mediums but it'll do.

Sizing is accurate, minimal shrinkage, comfortable. Problem is that they started pilling after 1st wash. The fabric is thinner than I remember from previous purchases and is quite wrinkled It seems that LLB quality is slipping. The PJs are comfortable and warm so I'm keeping them, but won't reorder.
As an aside... you are not carrying your mesh long sleeved polos anymore...that forces us to go to the Land's End school polo section. A shame...because people tend to buy other things from them while on the web site rather than getting the things from LLB.

Love the longer length of the top (other companies' flannel PJs get too short once they start to shrink). Also, the thickness and weight of the fabric is great.
Only 2 complaints:
1) the seat of the bottom is really big with way too much fabric. I feel like I'm swimming in the pants. Wish they were cut narrower with less fabric
2) would prefer different patterns/colors. Instead of just taking the same patterns and colors from the mens' line, how about something more feminine and pretty for the women? Not just plaids but florals and other prints and some pastels?

I purchased the petite small. I'm 5' and weigh 110 lbs. They fit well and they're nicely tailored. Pants have pockets which was a nice surprise. My only complaint is that the flannel isn't very soft and has gotten very pilly - particularly the pants - after just a few wears and washes. Overall I like them especially the fit but for the price I'd like a softer sturdier flannel.

Flannel Pajamas are warm but the sizes are way off . I bought 2 pair of the same size and color in Angus color and both fit different. Much bigger than my older pajamas I got a couple years ago . I will buy a smaller size to see if they will fit better. I love LL Bean flannel pajamas for the comfort as I wear them all day long at home.

I have never had an item of clothing that produced so much lint everywhere - even after multiple washings and dryings. (And handfuls of dryer lint).
The pajamas are comfortable, but I would not consider ordering another pair. Just not worth all the hassle.

So I ordered these for my mother, and she really was happy when she got them. After a couple of days we both started to notice the large amount of pilling especially on the knees. After the first wash it was amazing how much fabric was left on the dryer filter! I'm a bit disappointed with this product, as I expect better from LLBean, especially at this price point. Customer service recommended I wash them 5-6 times to see if they pilling stops, I'm concerned there won't be any fabric on the knees at that point. Of course they can be returned, but I didn't purchase them to return them.

Nice pajamas. Be aware that they shrink significantly when you wash them. I got a medium tall as I am 5 foot eight and about 155 pounds. After washing them only once, following the instructions, the sleeves and overall pant size shrunk. Will likely contact L.L. Bean for a replacement.
