I normally wear a standard medium in clothes, but ordered a size small in these after reading others' reviews. The top fits well, but the bottoms are very baggy. I'm definitely glad I sized down to a small and am even thinking I should have ordered an x-small.

I really love the feel of these flannel pajamas. They keep me warm on cold winter nights. I found that the top fit perfectly, while the bottoms are a bit generous. But they're pajamas, so who cares?!

These pajamas are warm and soft! I'm hoping they last a long time. Like other reviewers, I found the top to be slightly undersized. The bottoms were ok, but they do drag on the ground a bit. Also, I am not used to pockets in pajamas.

Although the pajama top is loose at the neck, basically it's a warm pajama, though I was sleeping in a cold room and had to keep turning the collar up and closing the neck by hand. But if your neck is well covered by warm blankets you should be okay even in a cold room.

These flannel pj's are exceptionally warm and toasty. The only fault I find with them is the sizing - I initially ordered the Petite Large and found them much too big for me so I exchanged them for a Petite Medium and unfortunately find the top to be less roomy across the chest than I wish they were. Wish we could order the tops and bottoms separately. My dilemma now is whether to return them for a refund since they are a bit pricey.

These pajamas will keep you warm, for sure! Like other reviewers, I found the top to be a really good fit for my 6ft 170 pound frame. I'm usually a 10-12 in clothing and the large was great in the top. The bottoms, however, are ENORMOUS. It looks like I'm wearing a potato sack. I didn't have any problems with pilling. The fabric is a little stiffer than I'd prefer, but they'll keep you warm. Wish the pants weren't so ill-fitting.

These pajamas are a bit of an investment but I have confidence that they will outlive many of my other pjs from different brands. These are so soft and wash well. Puts me right to sleep at night! They run a little large so I wouldn't recommend sizing up.

Your flannel material is not of the same quality as in the past, but these PJ's are warm and serviceable.
I really wish these came in more feminine colors. In fact, I wish a LOT of your women's clothes came in more feminine colors!

In the past I have ordered these pajamas in a Petite medium. However, so many women said they were too large, so I went with the Petite small. The bottoms fit just fine. Nicely loose, but not too loose. However, the top is not what I have known in the past to be a relaxed fit. The top is not loose enough around the hip area. The Petite medium tops are definitely a relaxed fit. With the Petite small top, I leave the bottom button unbuttoned to give it a little more looseness around the bottom. Next time I will stick with the Petite medium.

It's unusual that the top was a bit snug for me. I usually have difficulty with the thighs fitting properly, but these pants fit as I would expect since I usually order sz Lg (wear pant sz 16).
I will keep these, but a bit snug in the shoulders (cotton fabric relaxes a bit after wearing).
Possible order size up?

I love the color and length of these flannel pajamas. They are a bit too big for me, but I like them like that. They did not shrink when I washed and dried them. It's so nice to have pajama legs that reach my feet. Usually, the pajamas shrink so much they end up being mid-calf. This is a high-quality product!

The original product out of the package was nearly perfect! Looked & felt great. I always buy clothes 1 size larger, as I like things loose. The pants fit this bill perfectly; however, the top has just a little room over the hips - in other words, the pants are more generously cut than the tops. This is acceptable, although not ideal. The pants also have the essential side-seam pockets and a nice bit of elasticity with a self-fabric tie that doesn't necessarily need to be tied. That's a feature I'd hoped for! I washed the set per the care instructions and it came out very well - fit still the same and softer, slightly thicker flannel, as you'd expect. There is, however, quite a bit of pilling on the sleeves under the forearms. This is disappointing. Overall, it's a good purchase and I'm glad to have these cozy pjs.

This was a gift for my mother. She says they are nice and warm and comfortable.
They were a little big at first but shrunk a little even in cold water. It looks like they gave extra room to allow for shrinkage. They fit good after washing.

The soft cotton flannel pajamas are comfortable and fit well, although the cotton pills after washing on delicate & drying on low on delicate. You should find a better source for your cotton flannel fabric. I got Black Watch plaid because it is my favorite plaid in my favorite colors.

I love the quality of the flannel and the workmanship is great. However, the bottoms fit really funny. They are huge, width-wise. I mean, like, elephant big in the legs. They are also very long. I step on them, and I'm a little nervous about tripping. I ordered these online, and then I went to a store about an hour away to compare the medium to the small.
I found that the small was too small for me on top--I tend to have broad shoulders and long arms. And the smalls did fit a little better on the bottom, but still they were extra wide in the leg and long. I opted to keep the mediums because I did not want the top to be snug.
I'm just curious on why the sizing is so weird on these pajamas. I do like my pajamas roomy, but these are outrageous on the bottoms. I have washed them twice, and they shrunk just a teeny bit but they still feel too big.

This is my first flannel pajamas. I get cold very easily and it takes a while for my body to warm up. I was
pleasantly surprised the first night I wore it. The temperature was about 50 degrees and I was freezing. After about 15 minutes I didn't realize that I was no longer freezing. The ultimate test will be when the temperature drops below zero.
The only negative was the lint balls formed between the legs.

I really like the quality of these pajamas, but the pants are really big. I wear a size 10 and the top fits well but the bottoms are very big for a medium.

I love wearing these; they are super comfy and warm. Perfect to wear by the fire on a cold Colorado day.
...However, they started pilling almost immediately, and the material is actually quite thin. I got them on sale so I don't feel too bad about keeping them, but I would be very unhappy if I bought these at a higher price! They're also quite baggy, so don't expect them to be form-fitting. On the plus side, the petite size is the perfect length for my arms and legs.

This is a tip for drying and avoiding a lot of lint: ALWAYS dry on LOW HEAT for 15 to 20 minutes then hang to finish drying. Flannel is made by brushing cotton and if you dry on normal high heat it will sort of "cook" the fuzzy flannel cotton right off the fabric.
I always dry LL Bean flannel shirts and pj's on low heat and hang to dry the rest of the way. Then they don't shrink and I don't have a lot of lint.

I have two Stewart Victoria Scotch Plaid items, one a women's button shirt, the other is the zippered hoodie, and I just love the plaid, which is not too bright or bold (doesn't scream Christmas or Lumberjack). My 89 year old mother is now in an assisted living home and I ordered a pair of the Stewart Victoria Plaid pajamas for her. I am really bummed because the colors of the plaid are not the same as my shirts are. I held up my shirt against the PJ's and there is a really big difference in color. I would think that a traditional Scotch Plaid would remain the same, decade after decade. So, I may return them for a different color.
