OMG this is absolutely wonderful. Comfortable, cozy, soft, a winters dream. I cant say enough about this nightgown, if I could live in it I would.

Ll Bean, I love their clothes and shopping with them. I also am very fond of this nightgown, just bought my fourth one. Had three from last year. The flannel is everything other reviewers are saying: soft and warm. And it holds up to wash and wear. I love that there is no collar on this version, less cluttered around neck, can wear scarf if I'm cold. But for me, HAVING POCKETS IN MY CLOTHES, is just one of life's little practicalities. Why do they always automatically put pockets only in all men's clothes! I don't go around with a purse at home! And I know enough to take my glasses out of my pocket when I go to bed. I am not always in bed in this cozy nightgown, so glasses, tissues, or phone are always at hand. These pockets do not add bulk, they are properly placed and the right size. This is a very well made garment (I used to be in the garment industry). Ll Bean quality can be relied upon. I like that. The Black Watch is really lovely. Found the small fit me perfectly, though I'm usually a medium.

I was looking for warm and cozy for cooler weather and am very pleased with this flannel gown. I actually wear it as a robe.It is also a pretty design. This is a good choice before I get out the big Bean robe for winter warmth!

I absolutely love this nightgown. I bought one last year in green print and enjoyed it so much that I promised myself a new one for this winter. Couldn't resist the blackwatch tartan.

This is the softest flannel nightgown ever! Fit is perfect and not too warm as some flannels are. Just right!!!

This flannel nightgown is he most comfortable one I have EVER had. It is incredibly soft. So perfect to snuggle in on a chilly night! I love it!

I have yet to find another flannel nightgown this soft or this warm. Some have complained about the rounded collar, but I prefer it this way. It's more comfortable against my skin and adds a bit of feminine style. The pockets are also very nice for carrying tissues or cellphone or just keeping my hands warm.

If you wear nightgowns, this one is the best. It even has pockets! I love the color, and it feels SO soft and comfortable. I live in Michigan, so I need a warm nightgown in the winter. Thanks to L.L. Bean, I now have one. Yes, I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful, really soft (inside and out ;)nightgown, seems like really good quality. Would note that it is cut very roomy: While the shoulders/top yoke section clearly fit, I had to use that as a guide to decide that the billowing rest was indeed my right size! I've gotten used to it and in fact like it, but it is really loose!

Love it. Want to wear it all the time. So perfect and comfortable. It would be great in the lighter color you have in the fuller, flannel gowns.

LLBean's Scotch Plaid flannel nightgown is the best nightgown ever. Great fit. size runs large so size down and it still will be nice a roomy the way sleepwear should be. I love the side pockets, they are very handy. The gown is so comfortable that I can't wait to change into it in the evening. The arms are nice and long and so is the gown itself but not too long just perfect. Hoping to buy more when they come back in stock next fall. Great Quality!

Purchased this gown as a Christmas gift to myself. I am so pleased. It is extremely comfortable, washes well and fit well. I will definitely wear this item for a long time and will recommend to friends.

Love the comfort, warmth and softness. Fabric is great but why pockets in a nightgown?

Love the gown. Worn mostly out of bed so love the pockets. Nice length. Agree with another reviewer that it would be nice to have more play in the cuffs...some elastic would do nicely for pushing up the sleeves.

This is the warmest and softest flannel I have ever owned. It washes well and zero pilling on the fabric. Color doesn't fade at all. I love the fabric so much I ordered my boys the flannel lined khaki pants . Top quality!

I am in love with this nightgown. Super soft and warm, yet I don't overheat in the night. The fabric is very high quality. It washes well. My go-to pajamas for winter!

I love the new plaid which has vibrant colors (bright red, aqua black and gray) and the flannel is wonderfully soft. After I washed my new nightgown it retained its color and softness. It's a comfortable fit, nicely designed and a keeper!

Apparently women don't wear nightgowns any more. The department stores are only selling pajamas or nightgowns made out of polyester. No thank you. Although the LL Bean nightgown is longer than I thought I wanted, it is made from 100% cotton flannel and is lovely and warm. It is not as huge as the other nightgown they sell so I like it much better. It turns out that the length is a plus--keeps my legs warm! I highly recommend this item!

I love the new style. Love the pintucking and the collarless style,too. Heavier than the classic vintage gown, of which I have 3. The only problem is that I'm short and all of these gowns are too long for me and you dont offer pettite in plus sizes. Other problem is that I want another one and it's sold out!!! Suggest pettite plus sizes for us chubby squirts out here

This plaid, flannel nightgown was given by me as a Christmas gift. Recipient loves it for its coziness, warmth and good looks. I have purchased similar ones from L.L.Bean for myself. Keeps me warm all winter and lasts many seasons. Launders beautifully.

This my favorite nightgown ever!! It may not have a lot of frills, but it's comfort and warmth are what make it great. I bought my first one in December, and within two months, I had to get another one because I loved the first so much. The specifics: -The material isn't very thick or heavy but still provides a lot of warmth. -The pockets are great!! Ignore the naysayers. - I love that it doesn't have a collar to choke me at night. - The gown hits right at my ankles (wearing Misses' and 5'3"). - I would say if you are between sizes, size down. I wear between a small and medium depending on brand, cut, etc. I followed the sizing chart and bought the small and glad I did. It is very roomy which I prefer when I sleep. I know some may consider this a "granny gown," but I can't say enough good things about it. I am only 30, and I much prefer this gown over any one that doesn't offer the same level of warmth and comfort. I look forward to wearing it on cool evenings.
