I own 3 of the dobby flannel nightgowns that have (sadly) been discontinued, so I ordered one of these instead to try it out. The pattern is similar, but slightly narrower than the older style dobby flannel, yet is still very generous and comfortable. As a plus, this size has pockets - a very big plus for me! The fabric is a nice, medium-heavy weight, and is nice and warm. It washes and dries without fading or shrinking, and the sleeves are long enough for my arms (sometimes an issue). I have been very satisfied with this new nightgown.

Waited for several years to order myself one of these gowns. Just what I'd hoped it would be. Comfy, Warm, Long Length, Cuff on sleeve so it will stay down, Pockets in case my hands are full. Definitely worth the wait...but why wait?

Warm and comfortable. A little big

I have been getting these as Christmas gifts for 4 yrs. The flannel this year is softer and heavier and I love it. So warm and the length is perfect. Rae

I tend to prefer jammies but I was surprised how much I like the flannel nightgown. The flannel feels wonderful. Forgot how nice real, good flannel feels. Even without legs, I was toasty warm.

Got it for Christmas. It is so soft. Will buy again

I originally ordered a petite small which turned out to be too roomy and too long for me. The petite extra small is comfortably roomy and works much better for me. I notice that the flannel is not as thick as another LL Bean nightgown I own, which could be both an asset or a disappointment. Personally, I'm really enjoying this nightgown on long winter nights!

This nightgown is the softest flannel I've ever felt. It is thick, warm and incredibly soft. I've ordered this gown a few years ago - in a different pattern, and I don't remember it being so soft. Very well made in true LL Bean fashion.

brought this nighty for my mom and she loved it, so soft and warm.

I would have been happy anyway with the design, fit, and especially the wonderful thick flannel of this nightgown, but when I discovered after receiving my order that it also has nice deep pockets, I ended up with a feeling of "much better than expected." I just ordered another one for my 88 year old mother, who also loves flannel, and pockets.

This is nicely made and feels great. The fit runs a little large, but that's how I like it. It keeps me comfortably warm even though the flannel is not heavyweight.

Nightgown is nice and roomy, like I like them to be, and good and warm.

Really like this flannel nightgown. I wash it in cold water with no dryer sheets on delicate and it comes out soft. It is a nice weight, heavy enough for cold winter nights.

I ordered the royal stewart in a petite extra large but it was too big so I reordered the petite large and it fit well enough. I think it still runs a bit large but I don't mind a little extra room on a nightgown. I fell in love with the richness of the reds and other colors in the royal stewart design. It looks and feels very well made and I am very happy with my purchase. I am glad to find items like this in petite plus sizes as my arms are short and it's always hard to find things that fit me. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I am enjoying mine!

This gown was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. I didn't want to take it off because it was so cozy. I find pajamas restrictive and uncomfortable to sleep in, but that was not the case with this. It was perfect.

Would definitely buy again!

I am always chilly in winter because I keep my thermostat set to 68' to conserve energy. These gowns keep me warm and comfortable from early evening to late morning every day.They arewonderfully soft and warm.Loose enough to be comfortable,but not too much so.(I ordered two of them).I roll the sleeves up to keep them out of water or anything messy if I am working,but I have to do this with most of my shirts as my arms are short.This gown washes and drys perfectly,no fading .Excellent quality flannel.Pockets are great to have. True to size.Can't say enough good things about these gowns.I love the cut and the feel of them and I will order them for the rest of my life!

I love nightgowns, and look for several things: first, it has to be pretty -- I love the traditional plaid and the pleats on this one. Second, it can not have a collar because with my long hair if there is too much fabric around the neck I wake up sweaty (UGH). Third, buttons down the front (for so many reasons), and buttoned sleeves to roll up when I start to cook breakfast. Pockets are always a plus. And I much prefer 100% cotton. This nightgown is so soft and so warm and so utterly comfortable. Best of all is the relaxed fit -- usually I have to get a size bigger than I need on top since, like many women, I am a full size different -- L on top/ XL on bottom). Like I said, I rate this one "near perfect."

Have always loved these flannel night gowns since I was young. So comfortable and such good quality. Highly recommend for a cozy night gown in the winter.

Service was incredible 1/2 hour before discount expired. Used phone because computer very NONUSER FRIENDLY that night (LL BEAN admitted they had had trouble all evening). Clerk super helpful, quick and I made it just in time for sale. LOVE the item - it's my THIRD nightgown of this type - WARM, SOFT, perfect fit, washes easily, DOES NOT RUN (!!!) and stays true to size, no shrinkage.

Love this nightgown. It is soft, roomy and comfy. I was afraid it might be snug and uncomfortable for sleeping. Fortunately, I was wrong. There is ample fabric making it easy to turn without getting twisted in the garment. another excellent product from LL Bean.

I have 3 LLBean Flannel Nightgowns. They are wonderful. The fit is great, not too tight or too loose, just right (large size). Keep you warm enough for sleeping. The best nightgown I have now and from the past.
